Great service from ordering to delivery. I purchased this as a birthday gift online from overseas and it was a seamless transaction.

Unfortunately, my experience wasn’t a positive one due to the delivery service that was used. The parcel was delivered to a completely different address, which caused a great deal of distress on what should have been a special occasion.

The recipient was my grandmother, whose birthday the gift was for. She is disabled, no longer drives, and rarely leaves the house - she lives the other side of the country to me. When the parcel was delivered to the wrong address, she became extremely upset and panicked because she had no way of retrieving it herself or knowing where it was.

Thankfully, a kind person who realised the parcel had been delivered incorrectly took the time to bring it to the correct address. Had they not done so, I’m not sure when or if the parcel would have reached my grandmother and DPD where frankly terrible to communicate with.

I was very disappointed by this experience, particularly as it ended up overshadowing and upsetting what should have been a happy birthday for her. While the plants themselves was appreciated once it arrived, the delivery issues significantly affected the overall experience.

I have no clue how companies can get it so wrong. I paid for a 2-5 day delivery and received no tracking nor any communication about any delays.

Eventually I received my plants 10 days after ordering, with a 'goodwill refund' of £4.95, which obviously still didn't get me the plants on time.

When they did turn up, two of the three were in very poor condition - lots of yellow and brown leaves. The third plant was in good condition, but was just about half the height of the other two, despite me ordering three plants at 120cm.

I immediately emailed and explained, requesting a return. The reply I received completely ignored the fact that two plants were in awful condition, and focused merely on the short plant.

They requested a photo, despite me stating clearly in my original email that file size made upload with email impossible. I'd already said that I'd happily provide photos if they could provide an upload facility, or a WhatsApp number. Again that was totally ignored.

At this point I'm preparing to submit a claim via my credit card provider. Not acceptable at all.

I placed an order for the very first time on their website and ordered 6 plants and a watering can. Also paid extra for quick delivery via DPD.
Upon arrival, first DPD left the parcels outside. And then I found they forgot to ship a plant. I called them but they don't work on weekends. So I had to email them.
Now, let's talk plants-
1) All the big plants were in good condition
2) Small plants not so much. Not dead but not in good condition
3) They did not label every plant. I don't understand why won't they print name, size and pot size on every plant.

About the missing plant, they responded to my email and shipped it. Now I wanted to do my plant setup in one sitting but because they forgot to ship one, it took me another day.

Their outer packaging was good but the main thing which is plant name, size, care instructions were missing.

They also send an email of dos and don'ts which also came in my inbox late and doesn't make sense to get it after a few days of delivery.

Initially when I ordered they have a 60mins window to change order or add more plants but I didn't see my email until later and when I clicked on the link nothing happened. It's a ridiculously short timeframe.
When I reached out to their support team they were not willing to offer the same discount again. Other brand would at least offer that for new customers.

Disappointing first impression and experience. Might not order again.

I ordered 2 large plants as a feature for my lounge. The 2nd plant arrived damaged and I thought give it a chance to recover, I gave it 2 months and the plant is clearly not good quality as next to the other plant it looks dreadful. Asked for a replacement and was refused as out of the 30 day period. They offered some advice as in cut off the damaged leaves, advised that the plant would look even worse as so many of the leaves were damaged, one for the bin and it was expensive. Such a shame as I have ordered lots of plants that have been lovely, appreciate that there will always be some poor plants but not to offer a replacement is not good customer service. Unfortunately I won’t be going back there again.

Absolutely fantastic company. Great selection of plants to choose from and, before buying, it is very easy to find out how to care for your plants. Great to know if they're pet friendly too.
The plants always arrive very well packaged and promptly.
The customer service is brilliant too. I have just ordered 2 orchids, due to arrive today. However, one of them didn't pass quality control so they didn't want to send out a plant that was sub standard so immediately contacted me to give me options - order another plant or get a refund. They were very apologetic.
The other orchid has just arrived and I'm thrilled with it. It looks absolutely beautiful in my newly refurbished kitchen.

I ordered two plants. Was contacted a few days after to see if I was happy with my order I pointed out there was some leaf/stem damage on one of the plants and they sent me out a replacement the next day. Great customer service lovely plants.

Delivered as present and recipient delighted. Good website , easy to use . Excellent prices .

Ordered a 170-180cm kentia palm a few weeks ago. This was priced at £155 but I took advantage of £25 off for First time purchase. A week later the plant arrived. Packed well, however the 1 frond that measured the desired length had been bent over to fit in the 150cm box. After unpacking it was clear that the remaining fronds were all 130cm or less. Having ordered a 170-180cm plant I felt very disappointed. I emailed customer services with a photograph attached who replied very promptly, apologised and offered a £25 partial discount. I replied that this was not satisfactory as the plant was basically a 120-130cm plant and they were selling those fo £60 ! Another prompt reply and I was offered a £70 refund. I decided to accept this more due to not wanting the inconvenience of doing a return. Generally I feel very disappointed as I didn't get the plant that I ordered and initially paid for but did get prompt customer care after my complaint. Out of principal I will not be using Beards and Daisies again. I hope that my new plant thrives in my care, and may be reaches the height that I had asked for.

Bitterly disappointed......my poor daughter brought me a year's subscription for a milestone birthday. She chose my birth date for each plant to be delivered, or as close to chosen date as possible. In 7 months I have only received the monthly plant twice without my daughter or myself having to email this company to remind them to do what they were paid for. Im acutely aware that this has cost my daughter alot of cash and it's disappointing that she is having the hassle to chase up the order. I have even emailed to remind them so my daughter's not aware of their incompetence as she was getting upset that her thoughtful gift was a pain in the rear.
Get your act together guys, I've emailed again for non delivery of June's plant and it would be great to receive the last four months plants without prompting you !

The only problem was the delivery. Unfortunately DPD do not make any contact ie. do not ring the door bell or attempt to deliver to the address, just leave it outside. Would recommend using another courier.
