I am a new account holder. On receiving my Credit card I spoke to M+S requesting an additional card holder. After 20 days of waiting I used the chatbot which was hopeless and passed me to a handler. who started helping me and I was told this is a 10 day process...I raised I had been waiting for 20 days with no update. Then I was told as his shift was ending I would be passed to some one else. I then had to wait again, it was then taken on by another handler but after 55 mins on the chat I asked simply, has the application been accepted/had my card been issued and lost in post? I was told I had to phone security separately. Wasn't transferred and so after an hour I don't know where I stand re the card and possible security issue. Disappointing experience.

I have had my card since 1987 when it was M&S Money. I have always found it very useful and customer service very helpful. The Rewards function is great and worth the £10 a month subscription. I don't think I have ever paid interest as I always clear my balance on time and have never had charges. I use it for large purchases and as an emergency back-up. Definitely recommend. Use it properly and it is an asset.

I tried to log on to my credit card account due to a problem with an online purchase, when I went onto the website (which I haven't logged onto for a few years), I was asked for my passcode which I have never received. I rang customer services, which took 20 minutes to answer, to check my purchases, nothing untoward had gone through so that was fine. The next day I thought I would check again just in case someone had tried to use my card information and rang customer services again at 08.03 another 20 minute wait. The outcome was that I have now cancelled my credit card and a new one is being sent. I still do not know if or when I will receive this pass code so that I can see my account online as I have had nothing in writing to say it has been sent to me. It is so frustrating and I feel that M&S are pushing me to use their app which I do not want to do. Whatever happened to customer service????

1) M&S credit CANNOTT be contacted by e mail, despite the addresses on the back of the bill.
2) They are NOT available by phone 24hours a day, despite what it says on the back of my bill.
Had to ring their expensive land line to speak to a a customer "service agent".
NOT GOOD ENOUGH and will be cancelling my credit card.

Nearly every month now items appear on my card statement which I don't recognise. This month it was a transaction at a petrol station in St Albans. I am quite certain that I wasn't in St Albans on the date of the transaction. Every time these erroneous transactions appear, I have to go through the onerous process of contacting the card help desk. Each time my card is stopped and a new card is issued. Receiving a new card might take 7 working days which is a considerable nuisance. M&S bank don't seem to be in the slightest bit interested in fixing the problem.

Ive had my card for years and although we have a pretty poor internet where I live I tend to pay via mobile banking and should I get stuck as our mobile phone connections can be just as bad as the internet there is always someone out there to help.
