I've been meaning to get around to this for years. A simple unattended cremation suits me fine. Then friends and family can celebrate my life with a party. A phone call to Aura had the job done, quick and easy, and the cost was reasonable.

Now reached the age where continuous TV ads., and cold call letters through our mailbox led to my wife and I looking for a pre-paid funeral plan.
Research, research, research is recommended because the provider who you think is the right one can turn out to be quite the opposite. After making contact with the top recommended providers, and a dollop of Martin Lewis along the way, we decided upon Aura; best first contact by far. The whole package, its competitiveness and the personal touch provided by our contact Jimmy, made a not so easy purchase feel very normal and reassuring. Process was informative and customer facing throughout which I can thoroughly recommend.
Due diligence all the way has delivered a decision that we are more than confident with but at the same time we hope thatit’s a long time before we invoke the plan arrangements!

Arranging a cremation is stressful and distressing. Aura made the arrangements efficiently. The staff were considerate. Reason for four stars was the repeated requests for feedback in the form of a review. Experiencing grief at the loss of a loved one is distressing enough without being badgered to give a review hence the time gap in giving this review.

The company were very efficient and pleasant to deal with, with no pressure selling and making it easy to take up the opportunity of a short-term reduction in. The gentleman I spoke with as my internet was down was very helpful and considerate, ensuring that I had someone available if wished to make a potentially emotionally charged decision - I felt my dog's presence was enough, which turned out to be a shared interest.

Made initial enquiry for a direct cremation plan and received the choice of available plans initially via email. Called to ask some further questions and spoke with Jimmy who was helpful and explained everything I needed to know, with compassion and empathy. There was no hard sell I was given time to consider my choices and a further call was scheduled where I selected the plan of my choice. Very competitive plan prices and excellent service, first class customer care highly recommended.
