Very easy process. No hidden charges. Seat booking had a cost but that was same as the airline website. Overall great experience. Will use again!@

I booked two flights with 23kg baggage and was confirmed as part of email sale but then received eticket saying no checked baggage. I have contacted then via chat twice and phone 3 times and each time they say they will sort and email me but never do. I rang again today and finally received an email saying booking not include baggage. This is false and misleading sale. I will NEVER use them again. Customer service is appalling. I can not believe they are affiliated with flight centre.

Cheaper but painful.
We booked return flights from Australia to Europe for our whole family.
After booking, we received the initial confirmation email and "nothing" else. The "Manage Booking" URL from that email states: "These details are from your initial itinerary. Changes may have occurred that will not be reflected here." Not quite re-assuring since it's neem months with no communications and no portal to check.
Aunt Betty provides no meaningful self service options. There is no way to check in, select meals, confirm passport details, or manage your booking online.
Customer support is also extremely difficult to reach. Email responses can take days, and phone wait times can stretch into hours.
The prices may be attractive, but if anything goes wrong, don't expect much support. You're largely on your own.

As requested our ABY number;
ABY34109789.
All we want is our refund as stated.
We had our flight cancelled back in March 26 with Qatar Airlines. Booked through Aunt Betty’s. The airline processed refund (information provided from a customer service adviser Aunt Betty’s) also in March 26. We are still waiting for a refund. Called numerous times. Emailed numerous times. Talked today to a Customer Service Rep who put the phone down on me. I am dissatisfied and disappointed to deal with this company. The information states wait up to 12 weeks for a redund….this has come and gone. No refund or expected date of refund.
Which way forward….Ombudsman and Consumer Protection. I will never use this agent again. Horrendous experience.

Extremely disappointed with Aunty Betty's service. I paid to reserve seats for myself and my three children on our international flight, yet they failed to book them correctly. Despite calling customer service three separate times, I spent around two hours on hold each time with no proper resolution. Travelling overseas with three children is stressful enough, and this level of incompetence and lack of customer support has made the experience even worse. I paid for a service that was not delivered, and the endless waiting with no outcome is completely unacceptable.
As this matter has still not been resolved, I will be escalating my complaint to NSW Fair Trading. I expect to be refunded for the seat selection fees I paid or have the issue resolved immediately.
I will never book through Aunty Betty again and strongly advise others to book directly with the airline to avoid this kind of experience.

Terrible do not use. Flights cancelled from middle east in March still not reimbursed despite complaints. I am now taking them to Court.

Excellent service and cheaper fares.

Firstly, I don't believe that any travel agents should be selling long haul trips without checked in baggage as the default option just to get their offer to the top of the price comparison list.
This happened to me, and having not encountered this wheeze before, I didn't look out for what must have been very small font caveat before purchasing.
That having happened, and the issues with the gulf causing some uncertainty, I tried to get in touch.
My experience with Aunt Betty, over a period of approx. 2 months was that they:
*did not reply to 3 emails.
*took >1hour to answer all phone calls
*took 30 to 90 minute to respond to chat messages.
My experience suggests that their team must be very understaffed.

The booking process was clear and simple until I encountered a screen informing me that the fare I'd selected was no longer available. I was offered to accept a higher fare which was disconcerting. I believe it may have resulted from me going back a page during the booking process which triggered a booking incomplete email.
Eventually I was unsure whether my booking was confirmed at the original price. I contacted customer service (lengthy wait) and was reassured by a helpful staff member that the booking had gone through at the original fare point.
Otherwise all good!

I have had an extremely frustrating experience with Aunt Betty regarding a cancelled flight and the handling of my refund.
Initially, I was unable to access any flight updates myself because Qatar Airways advised that the booking was managed by Aunt Betty, and the reference numbers provided did not allow me to manage the booking directly online.
After spending four hours on hold, I was finally informed that my flight had been cancelled and that it could take up to 12 weeks to process a refund. Throughout this period, I repeatedly contacted Aunt Betty for updates. I was consistently told to wait for an EMD from Qatar Airways; however, when I contacted the airline directly, I was informed that the ticket had already been refunded.
Despite this information, Aunt Betty continued to provide the same generic responses, with customer service representatives unable to give clear or transparent answers about the status of my refund. I was repeatedly assured, both over the phone and in writing, that my refund would be received within 12 weeks. It has now been more than 12 weeks since I submitted my refund request, yet I have received little meaningful communication or explanation for the delay.
To make matters worse, Aunt Betty continues to provide vague and inconsistent information, with no clear timeline for when I will actually receive my money. My recent attempts to follow up have also gone unanswered.
The lack of transparency, poor communication, failure to honour promised timeframes, and apparent disregard for customer enquiries have been extremely disappointing. I would never recommend using this agency, particularly if you require assistance with cancellations or refunds. I am currently looking at pursuing legal action.

Don't bother using this if you live in Australia. The telephone never worked & Sydney's number was disconnected. This whole experinece I learned the importance of booking a ticket directly with the airline operator, not with these cheap offers. Remember, if you buy a return ticket & if you do not use the one Sector ( my case, I was stuck in Dubai due to the war), the other ticket will automatically be cancelled. Lucky Singapore Airlines stepped in to save my return ticket.

Terrible customer experience, the booking suddenly disappeared from Air New Zealand website and they refuse to connect with the airline to check what has happened. Now I cannot do the check in or select seats.

There were some issues the first time I tried to book, where PayPal payment and Aunty Betty didn’t link up - which delayed me being able to book.
Fortunately, by the time I received the ‘refund’, I was still able to rebook the original flights at the same price.

Aunt Betty may be an okay company for booking a ticket but if you want any extras beware. I booked and paid for seat reservations on my international flight from Auckland to London - only to find at check-in that no seats had been reserved for me.
I'm sure the company are okay to deal with if nothing goes wrong but if there are problems it is very difficult to get them resolved.
I won't be using aren't Betty again and I suggest you don't either

When everything goes right... great, you've got yourself a cheap fare. When ANYTHING goes wrong, whether it's your fault or not, you're doomed by the world's worst customer service. I had return flights booked from Sydney to Edinburgh in May 2026 that were cancelled by Qatar airways due to the situation in the middle east. Didn't get notified by Aunt Betty at any point, I had to log in to the Qatar website to find out a week before that they were cancelled. I was then on phone hold for 3 hours before I could speak to someone at Aunt Betty about processing my refund. It's been 10 weeks, no refund received... called Aunt Betty again today, waited on hold for an hour, then was told that it could be up to 12 weeks or beyond for refund. Worst company in the world.

Do not trust you have baggage allowance even if it appears on your invoice and you think you have paid for it. Check your booking. When I queried it they said this booking has no luggage allowance despite having an invoice stating I had 23kgs. When I emailed they offered no soultion and when I called the solution is I need to purchase it and send a reciept and boarding pass to get a refund for the luggage. Not a very good customer experience and will never use them again. So glad I double checked and didn't arrive at the airport and find out I had no allowance.

Extremely disappointed with Aunt Betty.
Ticket number: 157-2129890455
Qatar Airways booking reference: 8AEAMT
Aunt Betty booking reference: ABY34243786
My flight with Qatar Airways was cancelled due to the conflict in the Middle East, and it has now been over 3 months since I requested a refund.
After getting nowhere with Aunt Betty, I contacted Qatar Airways directly and was informed that my ticket was refunded on 26 March 2026. Despite this, I still have not received my money.
Customer service has been frustrating and unhelpful. There is no easy way to speak to a real person, and every time I need assistance, I have to wait at least 2 hours to get a response. When I finally do get through to someone, I receive a different explanation every time and no clear answer about where my refund is or when I will receive it.
Getting a refund for a flight cancelled by the airline should not be this difficult. The lack of communication, transparency, and accountability has been extremely disappointing.
I would not recommend Aunt Betty based on my experience.
