Got a CCTV from nooie

Got a CCTV from nooie. Stops working after a month and asks for you to sign up for web footage at £1.80 for 1week or two. Signed up for this but no web footage available. Went to cancel the payment on PayPal but because it's pre-approved it won't cancel. When I check PayPal pre authorised payments it does not come up. But PayPal says payments are still coming off. Very bad company.

Regarding the problem of not being able to view images after subscribing to cloud services,

1. If you subscribed to the EVENT PLAYBACK. It is about the recordings of some events, such as sound detection or motion detection. So you need to turn on motion or sound detection on your camera settings.

2. And if you want to view all day recordings, you need to subscribe to the day-cloud service next time when the event service expires next month. Then you needn't turn on the motion or sound detection.

If you want to cancel the service, please go to nooie app to cancel it. If you fail to cancel, please let un know.

Camera Settings -> Storage -> Click Unsubscribe to unsubscribe

Hope this helps. If the camera has any problem, you can contact our after-sales team, we must be responsible for this and you won't lose anything.

Total Lack of Customer Service

Camera failed after 3 months. Initially, Apeman said they would fix it and asked numerous questions to fault find and requested a video. Then, nothing! Emails ignored. Total silence from them for over a week. I can only advise to steer clear of this company.

Faulty camera, awful customer services

I purchased this camera as a gift for a family member. It took a while to have it installed and to find out it was faulty (the rear camera didn't work at all). I reported it to Apeman who said I needed to send a video of the fault. As the family member doesn't live nearby (and isn't ay all technical) I had to wait a week or so to make the journey to their house and take a film of the faulty camera. Apeman replied and said the camera was faulty but was now out of warranty (it was still under a year old when I first reported this to Apeman when they said I had to send a video) and was a literally a day or 2 out of the 1 year's warranty by the time I sent the video. They have refused to help offering me a 10% discount off a new product. Unsurprisingly I won't be taking them up on this derisory offer.

Bullsh!t dashcam

I was in a car accident on Oct. 5, 2021 and the camera footage is sh#*!y. Now, my car insurance is working extra hard to prove that I did not cause the accident. Because the footage is sh!#!y, the person that hit me, their car insurance said, "We do not believe our insured is legally liable for your damages". Thanks Apeman for giving me a sh^*!y dashcam that ain't worth crap! Just when I thought I was going to easily prove that I did not cause this car accident.

I'd tell you how good the camera was if it had actually arrived...

Bit of a hassle getting things resolved when the camera never showed up. Behold my extremely boring but honest account of how my attempt to get one of these cameras transpired.

Ordered 29th September

Checked Royal Mail tracking 8th October to find it claiming it had been delivered to me on the 2nd October. It had not.

Emailed/messaged Apeman via their website. They've no (findable?) phone number which I really think is needed to resolve things more quickly.

9th Oct - receive a reply from Apeman asking me to contact Royal Mail to resolve it. Hmm... Royal Mail's website states it's they, the seller, who need to contact them. I reply to let Apeman know this and they let me know they'll look into it.

Later that day they email again to say they need my "mail exchange records with the logistics provider to intervene". They ask me to ask Royal Mail the status of the package. I send them the screenshot showing once more that it's delivered, and a link to the page showing what should happen in this situation - aka THEY contact Royal Mail, as they're Royal Mail's customer in this instance, not me.

11th Oct - They ask me to phone Royal Mail... ok, it's not how it's supposed to work but I'll give it a try.

I manage to find a phone number for Royal Mail via Google and call them. They're able to at least see that the GPS doesn't look right for the delivery, but say Apeman need to resolve it and contact them. I pass on this information to Apeman and they acknowledge it and say they'll look into it.

14th October - No reply from Apeman so I contact them asking what the next steps are - are they offering a refund or replacement? I'd be happy with either.

15th October - They reply and once more ask AGAIN for details Royal Mail have provided about the case. I've already given them all the information I have at this point, and they imply it's not enough, that they need "chatting history or something like that".... "We need this to apply for the replacement".

I can't get a chatting history from Royal Mail - I'm not their customer, you are, my dear Apeman - please educate yourselves on the delivery logistics of the countries you are selling to. Might not have been the person I was messaging with's fault, it might be a flawed rule in how they issue refunds and replacements so management - please fix this. What a waste of time.

Gave up at this point, put in a dispute with Paypal and was refunded the next day.

So uh... is the camera any good?

1. For policy issues. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the policy, because we do not have the authority to contact logistics providers on behalf of consumers, we can only trouble you to contact them.

In fact, we do need the chat history with the courier to make a claim because the package arrived at your destination but not delivered to you, but it's not the most important thing, so we admit that it was indeed our mistake. The problem was on October 15th and we should have arranged for a new shipment directly for you.

We will definitely improve the policy to make it more flexible and make more people own a better experience.

2. For the way of communication. Due to the time difference, if we call you directly, it may affect your rest, so we can only communicate with you by email for the time being, but we will also reply to you within 24 hours.

But please rest assured, we are gradually expanding our business to help more friends who need phone contact.

App for camera is useless.

I received my apeman 570 last week. I will never know if it will work because the app does not. The only support this company has is email. They are slow to answer. I have been ignored for my request for a refund and have turned it over to PayPal. The camera is useless to me without the app. If you have an option then you should go with another reputable company.

Just had an email come through tbat I have set up an ongoing payment every 30 days to this company (which I havent) i had no idea who they were so googled them and spoke to paypal! Never dealt with this company so no idea where they got my details from so will need to call the bank now

4. Could you please send our service team a file that cannot be played for confirmation?

5. Please try to format the SD card or try another SD card.

Apeman will not honor their warranty

I bought an Apeman H55 in Dec 2020 with a 1 year warranty. After about 7 month the clock feature stoped wortking so I couldn't take photos when I wanted to . Emailed company and have been given the run around for 2 months and they will not honopr their warranty unless I purchase a couple of items to try first to see if it would fix the problem. I should not need to buy anything to get them to honor their warranty. Stay away from Apeman if you expect them to honor their warranty.

For your problem, we want to confirm whether the time shown in the main screen in test mode would change after you reset the time and date.

If it still reverts to 1/1/2019, please try to use a new SD card, format it and restore the camera into factory setting.

We will definitely honor the warranty if the order meets the following three conditions:
1. Order within 1 year
2. The product is in stock.
3. The store is operating normally.

If we tell you directly, without any explanation, that we cannot redeem the warranty, please let us know and we will take the full responsibility.

Thsi company told me that even if the battery is dead the camera works and they wont do anything. A supervisor saw I went to Youtube and they said they would send another camera. That was over a month ago. Here is my final email to them.

Company is a scam. The dont honor warranties.
My final email to them after they promised to ship another camera months ago:

"At this point I really dont care anymore.
You've read the message asking if this has been shipped and you failed to answer.
You've also failed to do the right thing by warranting this item.
I have gone on every Youtube video I could find and reposted what has happened.
I next will be going to all of the forums that Google can discover as well that mentions Apeman and do the same.
Hope this company crashes and burns."

Excellent after sales service

I have bought a few things from them in the past. The quality is very good, However the reason for the excellent review is because when I did have a problem with my trail camera they were very helpful and ultimately replaced it without argument.

Rubbish camera.

Rubbish camera.
Obvious problems with the mother board.
Online Support is unhelpful.
Ignoring my requests to return it for their own technician to look at it.
This is actually the REPLACEMENT of the first faulty trail camera. Trading standards comes to mind!

What a mess of a company

I ordered a small trail cam on 16th August. I then entered into a long dialogue of emails with someone about the tf card being changed to SD card, fine. Then it was clear the item was not being sent from UK,as the website implied. Then another email on 26th to say it was being despatched with tf card. I queried this. Then today, 27th, an email saying it is an SD card but they can't deliver to my address. I have asked for a refund. Something very odd here.

Totally fake and scam companies so…

Totally fake and scam companies so please avoid avoid avoid. I ordered from their website and its been a month and I did not receive anything still. I dispute the transaction with PayPal and waiting for their reply.
ITS TOTALLY FAKE COMPANY.

The only for me to get the money was through my bank because your fake company refused to refund me any money once they know I despute the transaction and even they refused to resend me another one. Absolutely scam company and official at all.

It is outside of Amazon's return policies, they directed me to the seller, that seller and this product have since been pulled from Amazon, and Apeman customer service is NON EXISTENT. Literally goes to a 404 Gateway screen when you hit send message on their site.

Shoddy and dodgy

Shoddy and dodgy. My apeman a87 lasted a week as a dash cam. Then it kept resetting itself constantly then just died altogether. Went to amazon and found all their products have been removed for fake reviews and I'd say for selling shoddy products also quite likely by the looks of the comments on reddit will never buy another product again from them and I'd just bought a projector from them as well so I'm contacting amazon regarding that also

I have had great luck with Apeman…

I have had great luck with Apeman products. I purchased a trail-cam because it was in my price range and the reviews looked good. I was very pleased with it performance. Wen I was looking for a dash cam, I decided to try am Apeman camera. It also worked exactly as I expected.
Apeman products have worked great for me so far and the price range is perfect for me.
