If I could give multiple negative…

If I could give multiple negative stars, I would. Dealing with Apeman has been one of the most frustrating experiences of my life, seriously. I ordered the front and rear dashcams as a Christmas gift in December. We received a front and rear dashcam with sim card (Apeman Dashcam Hardwire kit CH50, Micro Hardwire Kit for Dash Cam C420/C420D/C860/C770 and Apeman C420D Dual Dash Cam
with TF Card). Upon receipt, the packaging was torn, as if someone had already opened it. Two distinct parts on the cameras were cracked in half, clearly broken. After reaching out to Apeman Customer Service for a return authorization number and refund, they have continually pushed back and jerked us around. They wanted us to just install it in the car and see if if works, no thanks, just a refund please. Then we had to send pictures to show proof of the damaged parts, and to follow explicit instructions to send the unit to California for a return. Did it, and had a signature from UPS as proof of delivery. They then tried to say I didn't follow the instructions properly, even though a rep from their company signed for it. At this point we got the credit card company involved to dispute the charge. Apeman obviously lied and told them the dashcam was delivered in good condition, so now we are having to provide a bunch of info to the credit card company to pursue this. The last I heard from Apeman (in late March!) was they really want to issue us a refund, but can't now because we have filed a "lawsuit" against them with our credit card company and the process is now "frozen". I emailed them and said we had not filed a lawsuit and would be willing to drop the dispute if they would just give us our money back. No response. The total order was for less than $100, but it's the point of the matter. How many other customers are they doing this to? I thought I did my due diligence in reading multiple reviews about the company, which all seemed good, yet here we are. I wish I had known about Trustpilot! I feel like we have been scammed, and would highly recommend you avoid dealing with this company!

We had a near head on crash on country…

We had a near head on crash on country road, visibility was ok. A car crossed the white line and came straight at us. I braked, fortunately the other car veered around us, very close
I presumed the Ape-man would have the evidence. The video showed the incident but the display was not good enough to read the other vehicles number plate. I downloaded it to my computer and used my phone to magnify the image, but still unable to read the number plate. We buy these video cams for just this eventuality, they should do the job!!!

Terrible product. Terrible customer service.

My trail camera stopped working properly a couple of months in. Two things seemed to go wrong at the same time - the footage started to get fogged and pale and the camera would sometimes recognise the SD card and sometimes not.

But I had registered a warranty with Apeman so I wasn’t worried.

Lots of emails later they promised a replacement. It never arrived. I chased again. And again. And again. They said the warranty wasn’t in fact valid as I hadn’t bought direct from their website and they would not be issuing a replacement.

Terrible customer service. Not happy at all. This was a birthday gift and I used it to watch the hedgehogs in my garden which bought me a lot of joy. My experience with this company has soured that joy a little.

Do not recommend. There are better cameras and companies out there.

Apeman confirmed it stopped working after 1 year

Purchased on Amazon, installed professionally, and was recording great for just over a year.
Attempted to troubleshoot with their support and THEY agreed THEIR product was no longer working properly.
I was unable to get anything resolved after I purchased multiple microSD cards to test, card readers to use, and my time and patience in dealing with the aggravation.
They would rather keep an item in their inventory that costs them about $10 to make, rather than do the right thing, stand behind their product, and care about their customers.
I will no longer consider anything this company produces to be of any real value.

There are several issues

There are several issues. There is no software support available or if there is they are not allowing end users access. I want to update and have not had any success with support. Almost all reputable manufactures of trail cameras have firmware available. The other issue is I had is the 2 H70's i used always fogged up with temp changes and rain. I even tried to use anti fog spray without any luck. I have 3 other manufactures trail cameras out at the same time and they had no issues with fogging. I would not recommend the H70 even at the money they are asking.

Stay away from Apeman products

Purchased a new Apeman 420D dual Dashcam and within a few days a problem started. The screen kept showing “not enough storage “, bearing in mind this was a new formatted 32gb sd card and hardly driven. Format the sd card again and seemed to start working again until the “not enough storage” appeared again. Turns out it’s a common fault after searching online. Some people have flashed the latest version on and worked again or stuck with having to format every so often which could be whilst driving when you actually need no distractions and the camera to be working fine and not checking every 2 mins.

Contacted Apeman and they got back to me and asked for the version I was running etc. after they wanted the receipt for purchase and offering to compensate me, they just disappeared and no more contact for last 2 weeks. They don’t care their products don’t work, simple.

Longevity questionable

I bought an Apeman Camera just over 12 months ago and was very impressed with the quality against price. Just after the warranty period expired the camera stopped functioning at night as it appeared the led lights had packed up and was failing to capture as a night cam. It still works in daylight but disappointed it didn't last longer.

Apeman dishonest 24 month warranty claims

My Apeman C580 WiFi dash cam stopped working & refused to switch on, after the guarantee expired. Although I registered for the 24 month warranty, customer care refused to replace the device after I sent them a video. Since then the dash cam went to trash can. I will never buy any of their products again. Stay away from purchasing their products, it's sold under false misleading marketing!

Projector: Better to sit in the dark and think about how to kill yourself.

Where to begin?

The product is not sufficient quality, it's the same as any projector you might buy off amazon for cheaper.

The 'free returns' line is a lie.

As a consumer in the UK, I have the right to cancel any goods sold online within the cooling off period.

I've been speaking to them for over a week (emailing more than once a day), so far they've not acknowledged the Consumer Goods Act or the fact that they need to offer a free return.

I will never buy from this company again, and wish I'd checked them out on trust pilot before.

Do not buy a dash cam from apeman

Do not buy a dash cam from apeman. They do not honor the 1 year warranty. My screen blanks out and they have every excuse as to why it's all your fault and they lie to you and give every excuse as to why they aren't going to replace the item. Remember it's all my fault not they're fault.

I have already emailed them about my…

I have already emailed them about my situation regarding their dashcam and they never respond back to me as this was my second attempt to contact them. I had bought a dashcam from them since March and recently it has given out as it would intermittently stop recording. I am highly positive it is still under warranty and I am looking forward to getting a replacement. If not, I will spend my money elsewhere and never shopping from this company ever again.

I can't fault the service or the…

I can't fault the service or the product. I wrote to them asking for advice; this was received immediately and I was not pushed to buy a top of the range product.
I ordered and received the package within 3 days; I did have a query as there were functions on the camera that were not in the booklet. Again, I received a very quick explanation.
The camera performs well and I would certainly buy from this firm again.

Smooth Purchase

Purchase went smooth, part of the order was lost in the shipping process and when contacted, apeman customer service reached out and offered to ship a replacement. They provided great service and overall support . I’ve purchased many of their products and will continue to do so in the future.

Apeman Customer Service

Apeman is the absolute best!! I had a problem w/the motherboard of a DVD Player, and they promptly resolved the problem, shipping another one out in its place. I bought the 15.5 swivel - screen, and it made a big hit for a Birthday Gift!! Thank You So Much Apeman!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Disappointing

I have other apman products that are good normally have been pre-owned, but this time I decided il treat myself and get new but how disappointed I was, firstly they use Hermes/Evri to deliver so that alone should be enough to avoid this company, secondly they don't respond to emails. I find this hugely disappointing. With me I was not able to test the item as the items where not delivered, I have now asked PayPal to look in to this and hopefully they will be able to sort this out for me. Has really put me off buying ape-man products and recommending it to anyone anymore.

Do not buy an Apeman H 70 trail camera…

I purchased an Apeman H 70 trail camera in September 2021 and it worked well. I stored it for the winter, removing the batteries. In March I set it up again and it would not switch on, I wrote to Apeman sending photos of the camera to show its pristine condition and they have refused to replace the camera under their grantee saying it is no longer available and offering me a 10% discount on a replacement. If you are considering buying an Apeman product of ANY description don't, as they do not honour their grantee promise. If I could give this company no stars I would.

21/06/22. In response to the reply from Apeman the camera is still under warranty it was purchased in September 2021 and it is confirmed on page 16 that “Apeman Trail camera carries a 12 month warranty from date of purchase” which this company will not comply with. The warranty is fictitious as they have no intention of replacing faulty products and it is for this reason I suspect that Amazon have removed them from their sales platform. So I repeat my warning, Do Not buy any products from this company.

I just received a replacement camera. It is appreciated, it took 1½ months and a lot of emails.

In July of 2021, I bought a C770 Apeman Dash Cam. I like it's ease of use and performance so much that I bought a 2nd one in July 2021 and a 3rd in August 2021. In June of 2022, within the stated 1 year warranty, the rear camera of one of them stopped working and was only a black screen. My initial contacts with the email address printed the instruction booklet was not helpful, I got an "undeliverable" error the 5 times I tried to email that address. I found a way within their website to send a message which was promptly replied to. However I was told that because I bought it through Amazon, Apeman had no way of replacing or refunding my defective within warranty product. I was told by Apeman that due to policies from Amazon, Apeman was unable to do anything. I then contacted Amazon and asked them directly if Apeman had to follow any Amazon policies that prevented then from refunding or replacing my defective product. The answer from Amazon was a clear no. I again contacted Apeman asking them to honor their 1 year warranty of their product. I was told it was a "different platform" and that there wasn't a way to do this. It took a lot of undeliverable emails and a few more back and forth internal website messages to find out that though the booklet states my camera has a 1 year warranty and to contact Apeman with any issues, they say they are not able to honor that. It's bad enough to have had purchased 1 camera knowing the warranty is of no value, but now, if either or both of the other 2 cameras stop working within that 1 year period, it doesn't matter, I'm out of luck because I bought it on Amazon. This is not good service, in anyone's opinion. I've had a lot of people ask me about my dash cam. The front cam is still working but moving forward, if anyone asks me if I'd recommend Apeman, I will tell them about my experience of the warranty not being honored because I bought it on Amazon.

After reaching out again to Apeman because they stated they would "be responsible for you" I was again told that they cannot refund or replace the product. They again suggested I contact Amazon (who has already told me that I am out of the 3 month window for a refund or return) I have again asked Apeman company what "we will be responsible for you" means as it doesn't mean they plan to honor the warranty because I have asked them to a couple of times.

Just going in circles with the Apeman company. They never seem to receive anything unless I type it here. They know I want them to honor their 1 year warranty, they just keep saying (here) to contact them and they will "be responsible for you" I guess they are just waiting for the year mark to come and go. Then what? Tell me it's out of warranty? If they reply again here, it won't matter, it seems they want me to give up. Amazon told me the Apeman store was closed because Amazon's policies were not being followed.I don't know what that meant exactly but what I do know is that I will never buy an Apeman product again.

I just received an email from Cass at Apeman. They said

"Sorry to bother you~ I am writing to you to follow up on whether your problem has been solved?
 
If not, please contact us in time, we will try our best to help you."

So I again send a reply to that email address and it will not deliver. Why do they keep telling me they are going to help me yet never do anything beyond send me emails. Trust Pilot seems to be the only way Apeman sees my messages. I just want them to replace my C770 defective rear camera with a black screen because it is within their 1 year warranty. Yes, I got it at Amazon but Amazon has a 90 day return policy and told me to contact Apeman. Apeman keeps referring me back to Amazon, who says Apeman's Amazon store is closed. Stuck in a loop with neither company honoring the 1 year warranty. It has been less than 1 year as I type this on 7/4/22

Each time I reply to Apeman's emails, the email will not deliver to Apeman, so I have no way to provide Apeman through emails, the information requested. I cannot put the personal information here, so I need your phone number so I can provide the info for another C770 dash cam. Thank you.
