Did not fulfil their obligation

I have had my oil changed at Al Serra on several occasions (4 or more times) since I bought my 2013 Impala. Like before, these oil changes included topping off all fluids under the hood. During the oil change I was informed the brake and the transmission fluids were dirty and needed to be changed. I had elected not to do that maintenance, but I was concerned. When I arrived at home, I did look under the hood and did a visual check on each. When I had pulled the dip stick on the automatic transmission I discovered, I could not read any fluid level with the engine off. After starting the engine and running through each of the gears, I rechecked the level (engine running and warm). I still could not read the transmission fluid level. I then began added the required transmission fluid for that vehicle while slowing checking its level periodically. What I learned, the transmission was 2 quarts low. So, I am a little perplexed as how the technician was able to determine my transmission was dirty, if you could not even read it on the dip stick. Also, why did he not top off the fluid. No happy.

Great service on our Volt.

We have to drive 125 miles and Joe coordinated the two trips by being organized and had good follow-up. Volts don't need much service so when they do we want top notch and we get it.

Very customer friendly

I came in from Albuquerque, New Mexico to buy a car and everyone was very friendly when I arrived. My salesman Warren picked me up at the bus station and answered all my questions about the car with great customer service... Once I bought the car he even filled up the gas tank for my 5hour drive back to Albuquerque... I would recommend this dealership to anyone in a heartbeat... Kudos to all the staff for great customer service...

Past Experience

When it comes to services, the job they did was to par. They did my routine services in a timely manner. But there was one time I had to repair my transmission. It was covered by the warranty and afterwards the car drove as before it didn't drive at all in third gear or higher. My issue was that after that repair my car made funny sounds when i was driving over bumps. I didn't have that issue prior to the turn in so I know it happened after I turned the car in. When I called to inquire about the issue they told me since it wasn't under my warranty i would have to pay for the repairs. It didn't seem fair that i had to pay for an issue which would cost a few hundred dollars when the issue was caused by the dealership crew.
