Service Department could be more proficient

I recently went in for an Oil Change and it took them almost 2 hours to complete. I asked about additional services that we recommended last time and they said that they are no longer needed based off current mileage. I feel that regardless what the Odometer states if the services are questioned they should not be blown off. I was prepared to spend the additional $250.00 for the services previously recommended. it would also be nice to receive a more detailed service report like other dealers provide instead of just a simple receipt.

Staff were all nice but...

The electrical repair was not accomplished. I still do not have interior lights when I open the doors of my van. The engine must be running to have any lights operate causing me to use a flashlight to get in my van when it is dark.

WORST EXPERIENCE WITH A DEALER EVER.

Every time I counter this dealership the experience gets worse. The service employees are not to be trusted. My first counter with them after buying a car they snuck in an unneeded oil change. The second, they tried to charge me for a part that was covered under warranty. It wasn't until the manager was involved that things changed. They didn't call or notify me when my vehicle was ready to be picked up the last time it was in for service. Do not trust this place. I regret ever buying a car from Al Serra.

Service guy rude

Put incorrect oil and told me they could change it out if I paid for it. Never heard response from service manager as I was promised sent numerous emails and another guy called and told me my car would be fine just not in the cold. Horrible service and noone tried to fix it.

False promises

We want the Chevy mechanics to take care of our 2010 Malibu. But: on two different occasions Al Serra has kept it extra days. The first incident our service advisor said he asked another person to call us to let us know it was ready and that person "forgot". We did without our car over the weekend. Again last week we took the car in because of a brake problem. Without an appointment they said might not get it back till Monday. I called at 5:30 because we hadn't heard anything and was told we wouldn't get the car back till Tuesday. I am losing faith in them. It's like we're not important anymore.

2004 TAHOE SERVICING

Months ago, I experienced oil drips in my driveway. Of course I was concerned that I either had a valve cover leak not reported to me or a loose oil plug or oil filter. I took the vehicle back for a looksee. Come to find out, it was oil drips from a oil spill in the frame cross bars. Now I caution them about this finding and they have been very good about cleaning up oil spills.
