The Machine DRO website is very clear and easy to use. I had been looking for a Vertical DRO for some time and they were the only company which I found with one in stock. The unit is well made, accurate and exactly as described on their site. I would not hesitate to purchase more products from them.

Ordered a M-SURE MS-278-150 Remote Digital Linear Scale 150mm (6 inch) to add to tailstock of Colchester lathe for quick and accurate depth control. Came 2 days after order. Was reasonable quality and works fine but experience would have been batter if screw to attach the encoder head to a mounting block were included. In the end had to tap the threaded holes out to 6-32 and use own stock of unified screws.
Decided to upgrade my pillar drill with a Wixey WL133 laser to increase accuracy of my hole drilling. Allendale Metrology were the cheapest on the internet that I could find. The order process was simple and delivery was prompt. I fitted the Wixey and it performs exactly as expected after setting up. I would say that there was no instruction on how to set up the laser which is the fault of Wixey but any trained engineer with a modicum of logic should be able to figure it out. Over all a great experience and a good bit of kit.
