Very helpful agent

Although the agent was very helpful and talked me through the process, I was surprised how less than straightforward it was to set up a regular £200 p.m. direct debit into my existing stocks and shares ISA. The entire process needs radical simplification.

Early days yet

Early days yet, just transferred from another provider. Website is complex to navigate first time. However friendly professional help was at hand to do a regular monthly index tracker payment on the correct fund. A possible 5 star if and when I get comfortable with it. A bit daunting at first.

Clarity, patience and information

The phone was answered swiftly by Katie. She was clear, informed and pleasant to deal with. I've just started with AJ Bell and investing, so I had many beginners questions. All we're answered well, with patience and clarity.

Straight forward and stress free

I had actually selected an alternative provider for my S&S ISA but had found their entire customer experience from website to customer support deeply frustrating and a struggle so decided to give up and start again. Immediately I found the AJ Bell website much more intuitive and I found most things without having to dig deep into sub menus. I also decided to call Customer Support and quickly spoke to Ryan to confirm a that all the things that I wanted to do had been set up correctly. Ryan took away the stress that had built up from my previous experience. I have no reservation in recommending AJ Bell for a S&S ISA, transferring in an existing ISA and setting up a monthly payment plan. Thank you Ryan

Absolutely shocking experience.

If you notice the AJ Bell response below, they say that someone will get back. I think this is just a ruse so the review can be taken dow. I responded as requested but heard nothing - disgraceful behaviour
No sign ofAbsolutely shocking experience.
This should have been a straightforward transfer from one part of AJ Bell to another but it has been going on for over 3 and a half months.
Customer Service useless and impotent. The transfer team have given out incorrect information. They told me I could not trade when I could!
AJ Bell have lost at least one of my stocks.
AJ Bell have just not delivered and been totally unprofessional.

So easy to open new S&P ISA

I already hold a dealership account with AJBell.
Dividend payments came into it. Took 2 minutes to send some money back to my bank account.
Opened new Stocks and Shares ISA, with remaining dividend money transferred into it.
Knew the shares I wanted to buy, using the money I transferred minutes earlier. Whole experience took 10 minutes.
Cost of purchasing shares £5 (way less than what Equiniti charge), and cost of keeping them in New S&P ISA minimal.
Overall a quick, simple and cost effective experience.
