Should have been easier

It was not as easy as I thought to transfer over my cash ISA to you and eventually had to be talked through it by your customer support team who were excellent. The advice on how to do it online is confusing and delayed the transfer by a couple of weeks. Despite being with you for several days the amount in the ISA has not changed since the account was opened which seems strange.

Top Drawer Service

option 3 - answered in seconds; security cleared equally promptly. Deal closed and timings of when outcome of auction would appear in my account explained - all in 3 and a half minutes. Well done AJB.

Great support everytime.

First of all I have never had to wait anything more than a minute or two for a Customer Advisor to answer the phone which in today's CS world is fantastic, and helpful when calling from Australia where we live.
Then you speak to staff who listen and work any issues with you. I am so delighted I placed my pension business and now my wife's with AJ Bell afyer seeing The Times review noting all the Awards tgey have won for their Customer Service and Market Performance and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Recently transferred a pension from…

Recently transferred a pension from Scottish widows to AJ Bell. I did so because of really poor Scottish widows customer service, terrible website/app and also because of thousands of bad reviews regarding the company when it comes to getting your money. AJ Bell seems to be more on the ball. A very, decent website and upto now a much more pleasant experience although it is early days.

Access request dealt within a few days

Access request dealt within a few days, no issues or delays, money in my bank account much more quickly than predicted. Only issue is it wasn’t clear whether I needed cash to cover the whole of the drawdown element (I didn’t).

Pension Finder service is useless

The service seems standard enough. However please beware that the pension finder service is useless. It's a marketing ploy to get you to sign up for their SIPP account.

The third party service had all details of 3 pension pots (account numbers and so on so forth.) After 12 weeks they sent me a generic email that they were giving up after finding only 1 out of the three accounts. No proper explanation, no proper communication in the middle.

This service was a deciding factor why I've chosen AJ bell; I was hoping for ease.

Clearly not... I started with having my pension in three pots, now I still have it in three pots... Not sure I want to keep my SIPP there. I feel a bit swindled.
