Setting up an Ajax system is almost absurdly simple: scan each device's QR code, stick or screw it on with the included bracket, done. No cables, no installer, no mess.

And then it just works. Instant notifications, virtually zero false alarms, and batteries that genuinely last years. It also grows with you: opening, motion, leak and smoke detectors, sirens, cameras and automation scenarios, all in one app, with or without a monitoring subscription.

The downside: you can't set an alert for a sensor left open too long. The system knows a door is open, but there's no way to tell it "let me know if it's been ten minutes." The window forgotten before a trip or the garage left ajar go unnoticed — exactly the kind of oversight that ends up costing money.

Bottom line: well worth it, and it would be near-perfect if they added that in a firmware update.

Excellent customer service. Responded very quickly on some technical issues and were super helpful.

I had an issue replacing the reserve battery in a FireProtect sensor. So I e-mailed support and got very detailed instructions on what might be the cause and how to resolve it (not available in manuals).
It worked just fine and solved my problem. Excellent support in any case.

I was having a technical set-up issue and I reached out to Ajax support who quickly guided me with steps on how to rectify it. Fantastic customer service and great products.

After several emails to and from there support team, I can't thank them enough for there time explaining, why I couldn't add a device to my system. We've finally resolved the issue, which was my fault. I hadn't realised there are different devices, these being those that you can add yourself and those that need to be added by an approved installer. We've had the Ajax system for a few years now and it had been flawless. Highly recommend this Alarm system.

Absolutely love my Ajax system, from ease of installation and the mobile app. I have smoke detectors, cameras and an intruder alarm system with each component taking seconds to set up and get working.

Customer service is always good. They respond quickly with any issues with lots of solutions. The cameras and the app are great too.

The app interface / ergonomics is really clear and user friendly.
