(This is my third public review since the Big G introduced them way back when I had hair). It gets my goat a bit- post-break-in (Xmas 2025), everybody (after profusions of sympathy) offered every 'service' and 'solution' imaginable (from 'please don't break in' signage through to smoke bomb products and vigilante patrols). When it came to cost however, opinion (my own included) never varied: you can compromise quality to save money. To cut a long story short, um, this is NOT TRUE. The pricetag doesn't reflect what goes on 'behind the scenes' (iterative and consistent R&D and experience, follow/back-up and care-full monitoring and support). Ajax's socio-technical products are streets ahead. Take-home message: don't wait until you're facing two men in balaclavas when you wake up to pee- get perimeter control etc; GET AJAX. chrs, Peter

My Ajax alarm works perfect but unfortunately I had a problem with my keypad offline. My email to the support department was answered within 15 minutes and they gave me the right solution. That's what I need and what I like.

The Ajax support team is always VERY responsive and informative, even for the smallest issues. They are a world apart from other manufacturers who simply sell their platforms and tech to installers. With Ajax support you are communicating with the Ajax engineers, and they know what they are doing. They are even willing to troubleshoot the smallest issues on your system, via secure remote guest access you grant to them.

Recently had an Ajax alarm and CCTV system installed to replace an older system. I needed some assistance on the level of access I was given to the camera settings by the installer as it appeared extremely limited and almost everything had to be done through them. I installed the previous system myself and so had full administrative rights whereas on the new system I could do nothing except view. I checked with Ajax what the typical access rights were when a system was installed by an approved installer and they confirmed that I should be able to set up privacy masks, change the camera detection settings etc and that just any system config access would be retained by the installer. The person I dealt with was extremely helpful and responded quickly to my queries even though it was over a weekend. The system itself is excellent. I just need to contact the installer now to have my access amended.

I had a problem with an MCam outdoor phod sensor. The support team quickly identified it and worked with me until the issue was fully resolved with the local dealer.
I've always thought that, at a certain brand level, the only thing that makes the difference is the after-sales support.

Well, I just have a very nice and surprising experience with Ajax Support. I had a little problem with my Rex 2 Jeweller firmware update to be with same fw version has that of my hub 2 plus.
All went smooth and quick, problem solved in 30 minutes.
