Very angry about a recent delivery
In general I'm satisfied with AddressPal, and despite high prices they still seem to be cheaper than other similar services.
However, recently they lost a parcel for over two weeks in their US hub. When I complained they suddenly 'found' it within a few hours, and said that that it hadn't been lost, but just delayed because the sender hadn't included my APW number. But when the parcel finally arrived, the APW number was clearly there!
What angers me about this is not that the parcel was mislaid, I'm sure this can happen, but that they blatantly lied about the reason, instead of just apologizing. Since then, despite my asking for some sort of compensation or even just an apology acknowledging their error, they refuse to answer and ignore my emails.
Overcharged service and missing parcels
What is happening in the customs clearance in Dublin??? High number of parcels are missing. I had to notify only 5 sellers recently and asked for a refund. Customs increased charges and its a joke a small parcel might be value 8EUR and customs is over 100%!!!! Stop scaming people in Ireland with charges. AnPost incresed all charges and its cheaper to take a courier to deliver across the EU!!!! I mean I lost maybe about 12 small parcels this year. Sellers from the EU dont want to deliver to Ireland becuase they say parcels are missing in AnPost! Customer service doesnt respond or replies with delays. The whole system is not acceptable. Lack of any proper tracking tools.

Returned an item of clothing (value €121)to NEXT via An Post(€9). A month later, it hadn't arrived at the Warehouse. I contacted An Post and they said they will open an investigation........ Still haven't heard back from them. I sent them proof of postage including tracking number and NEXT gave evidence that it did not arrive at their warehouse. Surely they could give me my refund as clearly the problem lies with them
Only thing being delivered is bad service
Item says being sorted for delivery for 12 days now and it has been 17 days since they received it. Blaming customs for the delay but it seems like an issue with the way addresspal have labelled it for customs. Three interactions with customer service so far and no wiser to when or if I will ever receive the package.
Unreliable service, no clarity and all I can do is wait to see if I am just after losing my package and my money.

Deeply Disappointed and Let Down by An Post
I don’t usually write reviews, but after my recent experience with An Post, I feel like I have to share. I trusted them with an important delivery — something I was really looking forward to and needed on time. What happened has left me feeling frustrated, powerless, and frankly, very sad.
I stayed at home all day, making sure I wouldn’t miss the delivery. No knock on the door. No ring of the bell. Yet somehow, the tracking system claimed they had “attempted delivery.” That was impossible — I was here the whole time.
When I reached out, I expected understanding and a clear plan to fix the issue. Instead, I got vague responses and no real accountability. The delivery wasn’t rescheduled properly, and when they claimed to have tried again, the same thing happened — no one showed up.
This wasn’t just an inconvenience. I had arranged my schedule around this delivery. It cost me time, money, and left me without something I really needed. What hurts most is the feeling that they didn’t care enough to communicate honestly or make a real effort.
I always thought of An Post as a dependable part of Irish life, but now, I feel let down. Trust is hard to win, and sadly, it’s even easier to lose.
Excellent Professional Service
Another parcel delivered this morning. You cannot beat a friendly face to cheer up your day ! Excellent, Professional, and ‘friendly’ postman. Always delivering on time and ultra reliable over the years.
Gone downhill, fast. Useless now.
What was once a good company, they have now gone to the dogs. Packages that used to be next day delivery, now take a week. They are only travelling an hour away from the depot, but some how it still takes a week.
Very sad to see the national postage system go down hill so fast. They won't last much longer if they continue on this path.
AddressPal US is absolutely appalling - avoid at all costs
This used to be a good service, unfortunately it is now a complete joke.
They recently lost my package, denied all responsibility, and refused to honour the insurance guarantee they have on their website. I am now out of pocket for $200. I chased this for weeks through their customer service, escalated it to the main An Post customer service, and they all just stonewalled.
I have photographic evidence of my package being delivered to their facility, from the other carrier. They said it was delivered out of hours so it wasn't their responsibility. If you read other reviews you'll see this is a common excuse. They are absolute cowboys with zero regard for their customers or their brand. If they have an issue with package theft for out-of-hours delivery, maybe just maybe they should address that issue? I hear An Post sells a box for that purpose ffs!! This is a recurrent issue, but they just treat their customers like dirt: no attempt to fix it, no apology, not honouring their insurance. I would highly recommend finding another parcel forwarding service. It's such a shame because when AddressPal worked in the past it was a decent service, and An Post is generally a good company.

Wouldn't leave parcel at door or in safe space like they usually do, instead they sent it back to post office. My mother is ill and can't come to the door early hours in the morning or quick enough to get to them before they take off (which they don't wait even a minute) ABSOLUTE JOKE.

Excellent service received with two items. Thank you to all concerned. I found An Post to be very reliable in the past too and takes care of the packages.
Well done, exemplary service each and every time.
Delivered 24 hours after buying!

The above was delivered within 24 hours. Brilliant service, thank you! 5 stars well deserved.
If I could give Address Pal zero stars, I would
If I could give Address Pal zero stars, I would. I have proof that my package was delivered to Polar Express by the delivery service, but Addess Pal claims that since it was delievered on a Saturday, they are not responsible for it, because the facility is closed on Saturdays. And, to add insult to injury, I'm supposed to tell the company not to deliver packages on a Saturday?! AS IF. Every carrier in the US makes deliveries on a Saturday. But since they claim they aren't open, they aren''t responsible for my missing package (Someone stole it). The delivery service took a picture of the item delivered, but they claim they never received it, since "it was delivered outside of business hours". They never said ANYTHING about items being delivered outside of business hours being an issue before. This is ridiculous, and fraud as far as I'm concerned. And, you get nowhere making a complaint, because you get the same group of people every time, and it's like some omerta, because they cover for each other. Unacceptable!
AddressPal - Totally unreliable
Been using AddressPal since it launched. Service has gotten worse year on year. Send my package to the wrong customer a few months ago and I had to wait 8 weeks for them to retrieve it. They then charged my account the 10e for the service fee. (Had to chase them for a refund for the fee)
I now have an item in limbo. No idea where it is and info hasn't been updated in over a week.
Absolute shambles of a company (AddressPal)
FRAUD
Total imbeciles .
Total Fraud - it should be disbanded .
They have hidden fees everywhere . Costs have been increased without notifying their Customers / Users . Money has been taken from my Bank A/C without Authorisation
I will be delegating my Account and contacting the Commission for Communications Regulation (ComReg)

An Post misdirected a passport that was renewed online. Instead of mailing it to Canada, on April 29, 2025 they instead mailed to SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA.
It still hasn't arrived.
No apologies. An Post told us that we'll just have to wait for it to make it's way to us in Canada. There's no way to track it as An Post tracking numbers don't work on the Canada Post site.

Great delivery service in Oranmore thank you Ronnie Headd the best service as always from Ronnie
A total joke of a company.
A total joke of a company.
Rang them at 1pm about a parcel I sent 10 days ago from Tesco in Gorey. No new update since the 1st of May. "Im sorry, we are on our lunch break at the moment, please call back later or contact us through our speedy webchat. That speedy webchat takes 10 minutes to reply to a question. Very unprofessional
yet another bad experience with an post from the sorting center to the customer service chat!!!
I would have given zero if I could, do not trust, do not use an post absolutely, not so reliable, rude customer service, make fun of and they should be licked because they do not have the skills to relate to customers!! The fault is theirs but it is all in placing the blame on other entities, but I assure you that the fault is theirs, just check the tracking app to understand how they climb the mirrors to blame others!! Contact other companies for shipping both to receive them and to send them, an post makes you waste time, money and health!!!
Go with DHL!
Have sent many packages from mainland Europe to family members in Ireland and there is always a problem. Don't bother ringing them either unless you want to hear them offer you their service in Irish. This is not a criticism of their staff in Ireland but rather their disgraceful online customer service.
