Acer Laptops 

What a load of rubbish acer is.their support center is impossible to navigate they asked me for model number. Gave the number right off the pc . They told me it does not exist. Where do they get their agents from?Moron town. Stay away from acer. Should come with a health warning. Tossers

Rubbish, spectacularly slow, slower than continental drift, from new it's constantly updating which can take hours, often freezes and pages can take minutes to load.
I shall be dumping this thing and when I replace it I will check the reviews.

My school gives out acer laptops to students, and they do NOT work well. I do not recommend getting an acer. The quality is low, and it does not function well. Although acer is cheaper than other brands, it does not work as well as other computer brands.

I bough an ACER Swift 3 almost a year ago. I must admit that up until now the laptop was truly excellent. However, a couple of days ago it began to exhibit problems such as being slow to start up, or blacking out. Finally, it died today. I bought it less than a year ago and the damn thing died.
I always made sure to keep it clean, and with some good anti-virus software. Still, the damn thing died. I am very disappointed but at least I paid for a 3 year warranty plan. I hope that the customer services are better then their products. I still await for a response.

Bought myself a new acer laptop which is meant to come with headphones which I thought was a great deal. Turns out because I haven’t CUT out the code from the box it is invalid. I have provided my receipt and code and it’s still not enough. Don’t advertise deals if you don’t wish to honour it. Won’t be considering your brand again.

Because of free market, this brand remains on the market. It is a total con - one of the worst brands on the globe. I think they only sell to new customers who have never used their products before. I dumped in the bin a laptop a bought for over £300. It doesn't do what it is supposed to do. I consulted peers who have used Acer Laptops before and all said I should have talked to them before buying unless I was prepared to throw my money down the drain

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Bought a laptop 6 weeks ago and went away for a month. Used it once. Tried to use it for the second time. I have a black screen. After 90 min on the phone and speaking to 4 people, they determined there is a problem with the display. I have to send it for repair. I have never paid $350 for something, used it once, and could not return it when it did not work. Very frustrating. Also, shame on Walmart for selling this garbage. It is now two weeks after speaking to someone at Acer who told me that he had sent me a shipping label while we were talking. I still have NOT received the label.

Brought an acer aspire laptop for 259.00 last xmas in preperation for our daughter starting school.
It had slowness issues since purchase and freezing issues.
I took it back to Argos and got it replaced after 4 weeks.
New one was still very slow but worked.
Daughter barely used it until sept this year, 3-4 hours use tops, we turned it on and it didnt work. Hard drive broken.
Phoned acer they wouldnt help...they would at a cost of more than the laptop.
Barely used...might as well have thrown our money in the bin.
Never will we use acer again.

Under no cirumstances buy from this company. Scam merchats at best.
Bought a laptop which developed a screen fault, sent it back to be repaired. When it came back it had another screen fault which they refused to repair - they said it was my fault. So called Support completely unhelpful. Legal team very dismissive and displayed a could.t care attitude. Never going to touch this company again. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Bought acer laptop in June used handful of times end of August it crashed no help from customer service at all argos sent away to be repaired needs new motherboard at this time still out for repair steer clear worst thing I bought

If I could give minus stars I would.Their customer support is non-existent ,full of excuses and misleading .They do not uphold any warranty and have no interest in trying to give any support or work towards a solution .Avoid if you want a decent working laptop with good customer service.

Muppet tech support. I bought an quite high end BM320 monitor. It is a good monitor but has included terrible sound, as is not uncommon. I wrote a message to their helpdesk asking about which soundbar I could purchase for it. Their helpdesk team "replied" to my ticket by closing it and directed me to call not pre-purchase support but technical support. So, i waste my time to call their tech support. No hold music - you sit there listening in silence - before being connected to some offshore call center manned be people with marginal english skills. I explained to him that I wanted a "soundbar" and described it as something involving sound and speakers. The muppet on the line couldn't understand anything but "sandbar" despite my several attempts and finally hung up on me in frustration. Absolute muppetry. If support matters, try anywhere other than acer.

Bought an Aspire ES 11 which is a rip-off as it does not have enough memory to support windows 10 or any update- furthermore has NO. Option to upgrade.
Why do these company sell this stuff knowing it is totally useless . I am old age pensioner who can’t afford to lose this sort of money.

We bought Acer laptop aspire e-15 from Mediamarkt , it's been 3 years. Hardly works we have not touched it so far it takes 20-30 mins to start and sometime doesn't start. It's as good as typing machine.

We kept for our kidz just to play.

Bought an Aspire ES15 last year. I can honestly say in 20+ years of working with computers it is the worst laptop i have ever seen. Do not touch them.

If you want any laptop, choose Acer. Their computers are greatly priced and really nice. I currently use an Acer laptop and love it. If you want an affordable, high quality laptop, get it at Acer. Not like dumb Alienware that's like super overly priced.

Acer products have let me down in the past, but many years later in 2018 I bought a Nitro 5 Gaming laptop. Well let me tell you it couldn't play any games, the issue?? The 5400RPM hard drive. Initially I thought it was the 4GB of memory, added 8GB made no difference, added an SSD Toshiba and BAM the laptop is now a gaming laptop and can finally play PUBG and and anything mainstream.
What a bad company for advertising a laptop as gaming yet still using mechanical drives, and worse a 5400rpm. Never again!!!!

It is a shame for such a company do business worst than a underwear seller. Be aware that you may buy a laptop and never receive a confirmation of your order, what is clearly unacceptable. Then YOU have to chase them. The guy on the phone just answered me very naturally that (1) I have to fill an online form with my query and the concerned department will get back to me or the money will be refunded (yes, because this is the only thing that apparently work, they wil drain your money in an eye blink), and after a while thinking (2) he said it will take 24h to have the reply. If you decide to put your 1.6k on some true company without get stressed, think twice and DO NOT GO ACER.
After reading other comments here, I consider to buy an extended guarantee too. Have to see what they offer though.
