I booked and paid USD 260 for a three-hour deep cleaning service. One week before the appointment, I clearly requested in writing that the cleaning include inside cupboards, the microwave, and other deep-clean items. I was told that if it required more time, that would not be a problem.
However, the service provided was not a deep clean. The cleaners left after approximately 1.5 hours. Several areas were either not cleaned at all or were poorly cleaned, including the bedroom carpet (not properly vacuumed), inside cupboards, inside the oven, under the couch and TV table, under the coffee mat, and sections of the kitchen counter. These are basic expectations for a deep cleaning service.
Based on the company’s website, deep cleaning includes hard-to-reach areas and inside appliances. What I received was general surface cleaning.
When I raised the issue, I was told these items were not mentioned on the day — despite having provided the request in writing a week in advance. I was refunded only USD 60. This means I paid USD 200 for 1.5 hours of regular cleaning.
The issue was not properly resolved, and no appropriate refund was made to reflect the difference between a partial/general clean and the deep clean service that was advertised and booked.
Very disappointing experience.
With Absolute since 2021 and its been a great pleasure to be with them as they have always provided an excellent service

They are highly experienced professionals who genuinely understand the industry and support their contractors well.
The jobs outlined in the Absolute Domestics contractor app are clear, detailed, and transparent, making it easy to communicate expectations with clients and consistently deliver high-quality results. I specialise in one-off spring cleans and exit cleans, and over the past three years the positive feedback from our clients has motivated me to continually improve and maintain a high standard of work.
There have been the occasional clients who are difficult to satisfy, but taking the time to return onsite and walk through the work with them usually helps. This allows them to see that everything possible has been done and that I’ve genuinely done my best.

I would like to tell you my experience with Absolute Domestics & the cleaner they provided me with.It has been my worst experience ever regarding cleaning & I hope this review stops other people from making the mistake I did by going through this agency.It was supposed to be an end of lease clean,the cleaner Yasmin assured me that he was very proficient in the type of clean I required.I was impressed by all the equipment he brought with him & whilst he was doing the two bathrooms,I continued to clean inside the kitchen cupboards to save time & money.I made the effort to go to the bank to getYasin cash & I also went to the library.On my return he told me was almost finished,I had a very quick look round as it was now quite late & I needed to look after my grandsons.He had been there for 5 hours which to my mind was enough time to do a good clean.However the owner of the apartment viewed it on the Sunday, saying it wasn’t clean enough with photos to show the problems.A few days later I contacted Absolute Domestics who said they would need to contact the cleaner.As it was over Australia Day I didn’t hear from them.I was constantly hassled by the estate agent who was going to present me with a bill for $455 to engage more cleaners when I had already paid Yasin $420.I spoke to him & he promised that he would be at the apartment on Sunday morning to rectify what hadn’t been cleaned.He never showed up,didn’t answer any calls or text messages from myself & the estate agent.Therefore I spent 3 hours cleaning which included the oven,bathroom floor,inside windows of the sliding glass doors & many other things that were still dirty.I spoke to Absolute Domestics with them saying it was the cleaners responsibility to refund me any money.He offered me $65 which I think is an insult.Just so you know Absolute Domestics denied any responsibility even though they are the agents that are supposed to verify how good the cleaners are.Please don’t go through the experIence I had

I booked 4 cleans in 4 consecutive weeks across Dec and Jan as I have broken my ankle. I booked the first one for 24th of Dec so everything was nice and clean for Christmas. I was sent an email saying that a cleaner would be in contact with me, the cleaner did contact me and confirmed that they are a team of two and would be looking after our cleans. No further contact, I had to reach out the day before and he confirmed that they would be onsite at 11:30am. At 12pm they had not arrived and I was getting quite concerned. I text to ask when they were arriving and was told they were not coming and they would put the job out for someone else. I rang the call centre to be promptly told that there was nothing they could do and it was Christmas Eve so it was unlikely that they could send a replacement. At 3pm someone called from another state to try and rebook me for 2nd of Jan which I declined based on the fact that they have let me down for the first clean so I no longer trusted them to turn up.
Do not use them, customer service is non existant and cleaners don't turn up.

My experience with this company has been extremely disappointing and distressing. They have provided me with two separate cleaners who both acted dishonestly, claiming payment for hours that were not worked.
The most recent incident was particularly upsetting, as the cleaner was aware that my child is currently undergoing chemotherapy and that I am unable to work full-time. To exploit that situation shows a complete lack of integrity — and the company’s response has been equally unacceptable.
Despite repeated communication, the company continues to deny responsibility, claiming they are “just a booking agent,” even though they publicly represent themselves as an agency that provides and manages domestic cleaners. This is misleading and falls far short of the level of accountability and care that clients should be entitled to expect.
In my view, this company has demonstrated a serious failure in both ethics and oversight. I would strongly advise others to exercise caution before engaging their services.
Unfortunately, the response from Absolute Domestics contains several inaccuracies that I feel compelled to correct.
1. Refund: I was not given a full refund, as claimed. The company withheld their booking fee, which they continue to refuse to return despite the circumstances.
2. Cleaner’s “personal emergency”: This is untrue. I contacted Absolute Domestics directly after the cleaner left early, and they confirmed she had simply gone on to her next cleaning job that she had scheduled immediately after mine.
3. Refund of hours: The cleaner did not “promptly refund” the hours not worked. I had to contact Absolute Domestics myself, report the issue, and repeatedly follow up before receiving the refund—approximately a week and a half later.
4. Evidence of leaving early: I informed Absolute Domestics multiple times that the cleaner regularly arrived 5–15 minutes late and that, on several occasions, I returned home 15–30 minutes before her scheduled finish time to find she was already gone. It’s unclear how often this occurred when I wasn’t home to witness it.
5. Previous cleaner: The cleaner prior to this one—also supplied by Absolute Domestics—was bringing her husband to help with the cleaning. He was neither qualified, employed, nor cleared to work. She consistently worked fewer hours than paid for. Rather than lodge a complaint, I simply requested a replacement, which led to being assigned the most recent cleaner—the one who deceived me about her hours.
All of this has happened while my 5-year-old daughter is undergoing chemotherapy for cancer. During an already incredibly difficult period, Absolute Domestics’ lack of accountability and refusal to offer any meaningful compensation has only added unnecessary stress and hardship to our family

Really disappointed with this company. We hired them for a kitchen clean which was specified when they were let in, they then proceeded to clean the entire house which had already been cleaned plus the carpets, even though they had been informed that they were being professionally cleaned. Unfortunately my mum, who arrived at the end, paid the extra money we were charged as she was none the wiser. We have repeatedly asked for a refund of the balance which they have refused to give.
I would never use this company again.

After contacting Absolute Domestics they organised a cleaner for me very quickly. They were very helpful and professional. I have only just started using the lady they sent but so far so good.
Nearly 2 months later and I have to say that the lady Absolute Domestics sent is probably one of the best cleaners I have ever had. She is extremely reliable, really thorough in her clean and gets the job done quickly. Extremely satisfied.

Unfortunately a disappointing and average cleaning experience. I booked a 'move in/out' clean instead of an 'end of lease' clean which are apparently different - despite no information on the website clarifying inclusions and exclusions for each. I was told it was up to me to have briefed the cleaners correctly and that there was a 'misunderstanding' - but even the minimum was missed. I came back to a dirty oven, spots all over the shower screen, dust all over the laundry door frame, and marks left on the walls. No matter what kind of clean you get, these things should be pretty basic. Now I have to take time off work to go back and clean their clean up job in time to hand my keys back. Really wish I'd gone with someone else due to the hassle this has caused.

We were referred 'Autumn' as a cleaner for our apartment by Absolute Domestics. They were polite and prompt in supplying the necessary background information for our interview. They also confirmed that Autumn was insured under their insurance policy. Autumn was well presented and friendly and has been a pleasure to deal with. She did a first class job of cleaning our apartment which we were very happy about. We would have no hesitation in recommending Autumn and Absolute Domestics.

5 days in advance I put through a booking request. I needed a clean on a certain day due to expected visitors. I received this wording: the first message “Hi! I'm Phoebe R, your Area Coordinator at Absolute Domestics. Your home clean is booked, and we're now assigning one of our trusted cleaners. You don t need to do a thing - we'll be in touch shortly with your confirmation.” When there was no confirmation I sent a text and received this “ Hi! this one is all booked!” I called the area manager the day before the booking. No answer. Called the hotline to be told there were no cleaners available. The night before. While I was still at work. Never again. North Brisbane.

Do not hire absolute domestics for cleaners. We organised with them to get a cleaner out to just vaccume and mop our house. The fist cleaner cleaned the house badly even though I stopped her several times and asked her to just vaccume and mop. The second and third cleaners that they organised never showed up. When I rang them to complain, they pretty much told me I was lying and unless I had text messages to prove it there was nothing I could do.
