14 Day Cooling Off Period
Every Service Agreement purchased is subject to a 14-day cooling off period. This allows the Service Provider and the Customer to cancel the service agreement without penalty. Please note that any claim submitted within this 14-day period will be subject to a mandatory £95 Excess. If subsequently www.247homerescue.co.uk the Breakdown is deemed to be as a result of an intermittent or pre-existing fault the claim will be declined. In such circumstances a Pay on Use Service is available. The 14-day cooling off period commences from the date of inception of the claim or receipt of agreement whichever is sooner.
Provided you have paid your contract fees, we will guarantee that our engineers will conduct one annual service (if this has been purchased), safety and operational check (this will be a Gas Safe recommended service not a manufacturer’s service) in any 12-month period.

Beware of high price increases
After 1 year prices rise considerably, monthly fee £33 and £45 call out charge.
Elderly customers who do not check emails are then trapped in a 1 year contract. Charge to leave £185 Customer service very poor!
Booking a service or repair is a challenge. My advice, avoid this service. The advert dose not match the service offered.

Shocked at Renewal - Disgusted with response
Received a renewal price with an increase of nearly 60%.
Stating due to claims etc however, not had any claims and have been with them 2 years.
Shopped around on Compare the Market and was totally shocked to see that the same cover was in fact 50% CHEAPER - still with 24/7.
I booked this policy then made the mistake of complaining to them.
The response was, as you now have 2 policy with us we are cancelling your new policy ( The Cheaper one). As a gesture of "Goodwill" they then offered to keep my cost the same as this years.
So instead of 50% Cheaper I now pay exactly the same as I was paying but without the huge increase of just over 60%.
I consider this BAD TACTICS by a supposed reputable company. The only reason I stayed with them is because I have been with them a few years and no issues or problems.
SHAME LOYALTY IS ONLY ONE WAY.

Annoying phone calls.
I received a 'courtesy' phone call from the company before I'd finished filling in the online application form!
You might have extended me the courtesy of NOT bothering me until I'd actually become a customer.
I received a further phone call ~ an hour later while I was busy with something else. At least the caller had the decency to apologise for interrupting me.
The following day, after receiving the policy documents, I received an e-mail requesting some further information to 'verify' the policy. Why could you not ask for ALL the information online?
