On May 14th the offer was accepted and today is May 28th and still no money. 4 times I have been promised payment and still nothing! I contacted the complaints team just to be emailed back to say basically if youre not happy contact the omnibus man. Why is it so hard to pay out its not your money. A manager denied payment and nobody contacted me so if i hadn't had moaned YET AGAIN ABOUT LATE PAYMENT HOW WOULD I OF KNOWN? 1 HOUR AND 11 MINS ON HOLD. I LOST 500 DEPOSIT ON MY NEW VEHICLE AS DIDNT GET PAID AND HAD TO HIRE A CAR AS I RETURNED THE ORIGINAL CAR AS I WAS TOLD THE MONEY WOULD BE IN MY BANK. 1 LAST THING TO SAY GOOD LUCK IN COURT AS I RECORDED EVERY CALL LOGGED EVERY CALL AND YOU ARE GONNA PAY. WHAT A CROCK OF ...... MAKE THE LAST WORD UP YOURS3LVES 1ST CENTRAL AS YOU ARE LOSING CUSTOMERS AND WILL DO CONTINUALLY. A VERY VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER. Staff very rude
If you with them for few years you still will get just 1 year NCD.and they just don't understand that 1+1=2

I highly recommend 1st Central Car Insurance. They were totally efficient, polite, understanding and kept me informed and updated constantly, if I needed to speak to anyone with any concerns there was a person that I could talk to and not just an answer machine.

I was slightly out on the purchase date of my car and when my document was reviewed, I had to pay a large fee for this to be corrected. So the policy didn't work out much cheaper at all, I feel the fee should have been lower considering the change required.

This is hands down the worst experience I have ever had with an insurance company. After calling earlier in the week, I was told they only needed a letter requesting my husband's NCD transfer. I provided exactly that on letterheaded paper, containing all the required details, and the initial agent confirmed it was fine. Shortly after, they arbitrarily amended my policy, claiming the document was unacceptable because it was a "schedule statement".When I called to question why I wasn't told this sooner, the agent, Excellent, became incredibly argumentative and defensive. Instead of resolving the issue, they irrelevantly pointed out unread reminder emails and texts I had received. This hostile interaction left me with zero confidence in their ability to protect me if I ever needed to claim. I chose to cancel my policy immediately. Paying over £200 for just 28 days of substandard cover and appalling customer service is unacceptable. Management urgently needs to train staff in the basics of customer care, as this agent completely lacked it.

If I could give no stars I would. Absolute shambles of a company. I had an accident on Friday 22/05 and was told when my car is recovered by the repair garage I would then receive a courtesy car. It’s now 6 days since the accident and I’ve still not been contacted by the garage. When I’ve rang to find out what’s going on, the garage wasn’t even made aware my car needed repairing and 1st Central hadn’t even sent my details across!! 6 days on and I’ve been fobbed off to multiple different people and departments yet nobody seems to want to take accountability.
Stay away from 1st Central, the stress and hassle they have caused me is disgusting. And my situation is still not resolved!
