Great little car.
The car we rented was clean and the staff at both Wellington and Auckland were friendly and efficient. We were driven to the airport at Auckland straight after our car was handed back. The only problem we had was with filling the car with petrol before returning it. We used the petrol station closest to Omega. They only had one petrol bowser and it didn’t like non New Zealand cards. On our third attempt it accepted my card using credit not debit. When I got to the airport I discovered that they had taken double the amount from my account. The correct amount was taken out later that day. Apparently they do that with foreign cards.
So use Omega for your car rental in New Zealand and if you use the petrol station near Omega in Auckland use the credit option and be aware that they will appear to take out double the amount they should.
