Subscribing is easy, unsubscribing is a trap. Robotic customer service
Unsubscribing from NordVPN is intentionally confusing and non-transparent. Even after I blocked future payments through my bank account, they still managed to charge me.
Customer service feels robotic, unhelpful, and keeps sending copy-paste answers without actually solving anything. At some point I asked if NordVPN works in Iran. Their answer? “It’s illegal there, we don’t recommend using it.”
Wait… isn’t that the entire point of a VPN? To protect privacy and give access where freedom is restricted?
What’s the use of a VPN that only works where it’s legal? That’s like selling umbrellas in the desert and refusing to ship them where it rains.
A good service doesn’t act like this. It feels like a trap. Be very careful.
