Poor verification process. Charged me £23 to close account after signing me up for Premium account that I never wanted. BEWARE

Wish I had looked at these reviews before booking through Zest Car Rental. I have hired cars many times in Portugal and this has been my only bad experience. Car was not handed over properly with the operator giving us a damage report that he had scribbled over, saying the car was in a poor state and only to come back if there was major damage. After our weeks rental he inspected the car and charged us for a damaged tyre (which I accept can happen anytime) and an old looking chip on the passenger door, which I know was not caused by us. Despite pointing out that the damage report on handover showed all panels damaged he said this was new damage. Never had any issues in Portugal before - AVOID

First time using Zest, unfortunately on this occasion they have been let down by their supplier Drive 4 Fun in Portugal. Booking experience was simple and quick but we have had problems with damage on the vehicle. On collection the operator handed us the car condition sheet and scribbled all over it that there was a lot of damage. He did not show us around the vehicle and said only come back if there is major damage. I have rented cars in Portugal for the last 10 years and have never had any issues, so did not think anything further of it. On return of the vehicle the same operator checked around the car thoroughly and charged us for damaged tyres and a chip on the passenger door, despite this looking like old damage. I appreciate that the tyre could be damaged without me knowing but I was the only person that drove the car and know for a fact that the door was not damaged by us. Unfortunately after this shoddy experience I cannot recommend Zest to anyone as all my other rentals in Portugal have been 5 star. To be fair customer service have tried to help but as I say their operator has let them down.
**Update** - Wish I had looked at Trust Pilot for Drive4Fun first - Very clearly a poor company for Zest to be using.

Unbelievable service from Jordan! We were let down by Royal Mail and had no T-shirts for our charity Event on Saturday. In desperation I tried Thetshirtman and within 4 hours they had processed the order from start to finish and I was able to collect our shirts!! Really saved the day, great quality product and price as well. Absolute Legend!!

Unable to download receipt - poor system. Every other charger I have used has been easy.
