Review of Omega Rental Cars

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Really easy experience

Really easy experience. I hired a car for 10 days for my recent trip to NZ. The team were really easy to get in touch with beforehand, and the car was great. A few minor scratches but otherwise perfectly clean and fairly new. No issues at all during my rental, and a very easy collection and drop off process. Would absolutely use again.

Beautiful balms and oils

I've been using the Queen Bee balm, Blue Lotus ritual oil and Violet Reverie ritual oil for the past month or so, and they have become an essential part of my self-care routine.

The balm in particular has been an absolute life-saver as the seasons have changed and the weather has gotten cooler. I suffer from eczema and very sensitive skin in general, and it has been both soothing and effective. I use it as a deep treatment for very dry skin, as a lip balm, and on my hands when they're cracked and dry. It's very luxurious and a real treat for dry skin, and a little goes a very long way.

The oils smell amazing and have been wonderful for de-stressing at the end of a long week.
The packaging is lovely too - especially appreciate the glass bottles rather than plastic!

Always love ordering from here

Always love ordering from here. The sweets are delicious and there's a huge variety, it's great to be able to make your own pick and mix selection, they have great seasonal options which is perfect when getting Easter or Christmas presents for vegans in the family. Service is always great, have never had any issues with communication or delivery. I love that the packaging is all recyclable too.

Review of Jacksons Estate Agents

Fake ads to lure you in

More than half the properties listed on right move and zoopla in the Balham/Tooting Bec area aren't even available and haven't been for weeks.

I called and submitted an email enquiry but every single property I asked about had been let, some weeks ago, and a week later (as I'm writing this) they are still listed. Once you've made the enquiry you get dozens of calls and emails every day with properties that are way above your price range or just completely unsuitable.

If I were making an informed guess, I'd say the ads remain active to bait people so that they can spam you. It's utterly frustrating, especially given that moving is incredibly stressful.

I appreciate that London properties go quickly and they can't always be removed instantly, I have lived there before, but this is just a really appalling way of reeling people in to disappoint and upsell to them. It's not just Jacksons that do this obviously but they were the most prolific when I was searching.

To top it off I got a pretty rude phone call after asking to be removed from their database asking if I was still looking. I said no, I had found a place, and he abruptly demanded to know where and with who. It's not your business, and you shouldn't even have my number on file once I've requested it be removed.

Review of Streets Ahead Estate Agents

Relentless spamming

The viewing I had in Purley was fine, but the property itself was completely mis-sold. The ad said "10 new refurbished flats", what is really was was a tiny, messy flat that had been let out for over a year since being "refurbished" and there were notes all over the hallway from other tenants complaining on noises and being charged by the management company when one flat doesn't empty their bins correctly.
I then had a phone call from another of their agents asking me to put an offer in for a property I hadn't even seen. Her response was 'yeah but it's dead nice and it's gonna go really quickly so I advise you put in an offer'.

After the viewing, they would not stop contacting me with other, irrelevant properties. I unsubscribed 3 times and blocked their number and they just kept emailing. Eventually I said I would take legal action as it was a GDPR violation which stopped them for a few weeks before the emails started again. So now I'm having to do a cease and desist...

Review of Parcelforce Worldwide

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Disgusting service, damaged item

I sent a very carefully wrapped framed memorabilia set by 24 hour delivery, with clear instructions in person, on the packaging, and on my booking form that it was fragile and must not have anything stacked on top of it.
Parcelforce completely obliterated the frame, shards of glass everywhere. We are extremely lucky the memorabilia does not appear to be damaged.
To have sustained such damage it can only have been dropped from a height or had something very heavy slung on top of it, which we asked them explicitly not to do.

Absolutely disgusted with the service, will NEVER use again
