I gave Autovia a second chance because of the competitive price of their rental through a broker company. But when I arrived to collect the vehicle at their Bari desk, the staff refused outright to rent me the vehicle offering no explanation and of course no refund.
They just sent me off to the broker and told me if I want I speak to the broker.
I had no choice but to go to SIXT who gave me an impeccable service at Bari Airport.
Careful from Autovia and their customer care.
Unfortunately I was sorely bitten twice.

After a YEAR from a rental I was recharged again the FULL amount of my rental. They illegally kept the details of my credit card for a whole year and charged me again after alleging that the broker (who they themselves appointed) did not pass on my payment!! Is it my fault? At no point when I picked nor when I returned the car was there any mention of any problems. DO NOT USE AUTOVIA!! They will charge you at will and without warning any amount they subjectively decide!

Great experience! Problem free car hire. Maybe better explanation of insurance policies.
