Completely unresponsive
I booked a hire car through Planet Rental and was given a collection location in Mount Vernon, Glasgow that simply does not exist. When I arrived and discovered the issue, Planet Rental shrugged me off and told me to call Enterprise myself, despite my contract being with Planet Rental.
I had to spend £50 on a taxi to reach a real Enterprise branch. When I finally collected a car, it was a smaller class than the one I had booked — despite choosing the original class specifically for the boot space.
I emailed a formal complaint on 3 January, followed up on 7 January, and escalated on 8 January. As of 12 January they have not responded to a single message.
I’ve now had to escalate the matter via my credit card provider under Section 75. Extremely poor service, completely unresponsive, and no ownership of their own errors. I would not recommend using this company.
