As always, the daily rental cost is very competitive. The cars are not new but well maintained and serviced. The airport pickup and return was prompt and the counter service efficient and friendly.

Really good value for money if you're into image processing or LLMs that require high processing power.

We have been hiring cars from Omega now for over 15 years and have always had a good experience. Their cars are nothing fancy but always reliable and at good prices. The service, usually at Auckland Airport, has been great: prompt shuttles to and from the airport and quick cheerful and efficient service at the depot. That's why we always keep coming back.

I only started using the package of Denoise, Sharpen, and Gigapixel for a week or so and have been able to improve the quality of some images significantly, with much better results than by using Photoshop's equivalent functions. The standard AI models for each are easy to use and the comparison screens quickly show what models produce the best results. It does take some practice to optimise the results but there are helpful tutorials available on Youtube, particularly for how to organise workflow for post-processing - the best sequence for using the three apps and how to use them in conjunction with another image processor like Lightroom or Photoshop. Because the functions of the three apps overlap to some extent and the standard models can be tweaked with specific controls, how to use the apps in sequence can be confusing and I found it helpful to practice using the online tutorials as a guide.

If you're looking for significantly lower rentals and don't mind relatively high-mileage older vehicles, Omega offers well-maintained and significantly cheaper cars than the big three. We have been using them for a decade or more and never had a mechanical problem. For airport pickups in Auckland and Christchurch they are a little away from the terminals but their shuttle service is prompt and the check-in is efficient and friendly.

Plenty of options, very reliable.

I have used two or three other online photo services before. I used Photobox to create a hard cover book. The online editing app was easy to use, the price was quite reasonable, and the delivery was inside the advertised time. The book when it arrived was well-bound on good quality glossy paper stock (not the premium stock). Best of all, the colour reproduction in the print more or less faithfully matched what I saw on my screen when I was doing the editing. With other services I have had images printing much darker than on the screen. This was definitely a better quality service all round.

I've been an Omega customer for a decade now. They have older cars but they are very well-maintained and always immaculate inside and I've never had any problems. Their rates are very competitive. The staff at Auckland Airport have always been friendly and efficient.
