Watch out for this company
Watch out for this company. Insurance scam. Credit Cards in Netherlands only have initials on them. This is not adequate for Autovia in Italy. Your full name must be on credit card. Meaning your name MUST be written out in full. Ended up paying 150 euros extra for insurance. Never ever had this problem with hiring a car before in any other country in the world. Advice. Check your credit card before you book. Go elsewhere where the standard issue credit card is accepted!!!!!!

we’re truly sorry for the inconvenience and fully understand your frustration. However, please allow us to clarify that, for security and insurance compliance reasons in Italy, the full name of the cardholder must appear on the credit card, matching exactly the name stated on the rental contract.
This requirement ensures proper identity verification and protects both the customer and the rental company in the event of unauthorized use or insurance claims.
We do recognize that in some countries, such as the Netherlands, cards may display only initials, and we understand how inconvenient this can be when unexpected.
We are currently working to improve the pre-booking communication of this requirement on all partner websites, so that international customers are fully informed before arrival.
