Waste ot time
I ordered Bosch wipers online during a Black Friday promotion with 25% off. I entered my car registration number, and the website confirmed the parts would fit. However, when they arrived, they did not fit.
I called the number on the invoice and was told I would need to return the wipers to the depot myself. They mentioned they had the correct ones in stock, so I left work early to collect them. The person on the phone said he would arrange for the correct wipers to be left at the desk.
When I arrived at the depot, I waited about five minutes while the staff finished their conversation. The person who served me knew nothing about the correct wipers, said they had no stock, and offered to order them for the next day at an additional cost of £18—without the Black Friday discount. I declined and requested a refund.
I then ordered Bosch wipers from Amazon, which were cheaper than the original ones I purchased. While I saved money in the end, the whole point of ordering online was to save time. Instead, I wasted time and fuel returning parts that should have fit as advertised.
