Auto-renewed without consent, now unreachable
Marshmallow renewed my car insurance automatically without my explicit approval. When I tried to query this via their chat support — the only channel they offer — I received no response after multiple attempts with bot Marsha on the renewal date. What makes this worse is that I now face a cancellation fee if I don't act within 14 days. This is a deliberately engineered window: renew without consent, go silent on support, then profit from the cancellation charge. This is not an oversight — it is a structured process designed to extract money from customers. I am escalating this to the Financial Ombudsman Service and urge anyone facing the same to do the same. Avoid this company.
