Roller coaster slow if you go behind a "braker"

Did the zip safari it's was pretty brutal so be prepared lol, did the roller coaster, woud love if they didn't allow passengers to control the brakes, the car before us braked ALL the time so really wasn't a roller coaster more a slow journey down the forest, A very SLOW journey

The team were really helpful

The team were really helpful when my Nephew had to postone his Zip due to not feeling well. They arranged for somebody to take us both down to the base in the 4 Wheel Drive. They then credited the event so we could participate at a later date.

Titan!

Titan!! Wow amazing, the whole trip was fab from beginning to end. The tour guide Rob was a really nice guy who made us feel safe from the beginning, also knew a lot about the history of the mines. Then the guys at the top who clipped us on were very friendly and also made us feel safe. The weather on the other hand was awful but to be honest added to the magic of north wales and made me realise the awful conditions the quarry men worked in back in the day.
If you’ve got a couple of hours to spare, go on this, you will not be disappointed 😊

10/10!

Got the Titan 2 as a birthday gift for my younger sister. Had a blast! Med the tour guide was awesome & the rest of the staff were spot on from start to finish. Worth the money and would definitely recommend to others.

My only recommendation would be to have a hot drinks station after the first zip line while waiting for the others to come down but that's it.

Restaurant staff were lovely too and nice food.

Thanks for a great day out!

Four oldies turned up on spec to try out velocity2. Great experience and thoroughly recommend it. Staff were extremely friendly, professional and diligent when it came to safety and looking after everyone to make sure all runs smoothly. Food in cafe was very reasonably priced as well. Thank you.

Zipworld was amazing and staff were…

Zipworld was amazing and staff were very patient. My brother was very scared to do a zip wire and initially pulled out but changed his mind at the end, and staff were kind enough to retake.him with the next group, which they didn't have to, so it made your moneys worth. I would definetely come back to do more.

Stressful experience when using public transport

I had 3 hours to wait between trains in Blaenau Ffestiniog with visitors from Nepal so phoned about a deep mine tour. Lucy was very helpful. I said, as we were traveling by train, we had to be back in Blaenau Ffestiniog for the 2.57 train.
I told her the Ffestiniog train arrived at 11.55 and I could book a taxi at 12.00 to get me to the caverns for 12.10.
We booked on the 12.20 tour.
I asked if the train was late could we join the 12.40 tour. Yes, she said, as it wasn't busy.
The train was 10 mins late and we arrived at Zip World at 12.18.
I ran to check in but there were longish queues with people discussing the height of their child etc.
It wasn't clear which queue was for which activity and all was busy.
After managing to get our wrist bands, we raced to the deep mine tour entrance to find no one there. But by now it was after 12.25
No information, no meet and greet.
Eventually someone turned up to greet some golfers.
We were told to wait for our tour at 12.40.
We sat and waited.
At 12.40, a young lad appeared and said come back at 1.00pm.
I asked him to check how long that tour would take.
He replied 1 hour 10mins.
I asked him to double check that we would be back in time for our taxi which was booked for 2.20. Absolutely he said.
At 1pm our tour guide Rob arrived - there were 7 of us waiting.
Then 6 more turned up.
I was getting worried that we would miss our taxi.
At 2.15, we were still on the tour and I reminded Rob that I had a taxi to catch at 2.20.
He seemed completely unconcerned and, naturally, wanted to give the other people in the group an unrushed experience telling them to take as long as they liked in the cabin and keep asking questions.
There was no signal for my mobile so I couldn't phone the taxi company.
When we eventually got out, it was 2.35pm and the taxi had given up waiting and returned to town.
I appreciate that most of your customers come by car and do not have the stress of a very limited train service but I feel that Rob could have helped the situation by offering to get a message to the taxi company that the tour was running late so we would not have been stranded taxiless in Llechwedd.
We did eventually get back to Newtown at 9.09pm.
I appreciate the desire to attend to enjoyment of the majority (who came by car) but I felt that Zip World didn't care whether I missed my train or not despite at every opportunity I mentioned the tight schedule. If check in had been more efficient, if the 12.40 tour had run as expected or if Rob had offered to get a message to the taxi company, my review would have been more positive as the tour was interesting.

I couldn’t recommend Zip World enough

I couldn’t recommend Zip World enough. It was a super fun experience and had lovely staff to help and guide you around. We went on the tower flyer and it was amazing. I felt super safe which was great . Would definitely recommend .

UNSAFE and Terrible customer care at…

UNSAFE and terrible customer care at Velocity, PPE on 11 year old boy not checked prior to flight, helmet and goggles came off head at 113mph 500ft up, he was terrified and because I have reported the incident to HSE they consider the case closed and have said they will not refund the £118, they will of course once the HSE are involved. Horrible people, avoid!

No Refunds Watch Out

My family had a wonderful time but I wasn't too well on the day but at £60 they wouldn't refund my ticket. They do state this on their refund policy but in today's economy when it's all about the customer experience this is a very outdated model. Left a sore taste on what was an enjoyable experience for my family. Please have a look at how you treat customers.

Wonderful day

Wonderful day, we had a great time.
Our guide Med (who said it was his firs day) was spot on, he made our experience all the better. His whit and knowledge was very impressive, would highly recommend.

An insightful day overall. What a way to broaden ones knowledge of the worlds commodities market, guided by local minerals expert, Phil, in the commerce of granite, quartz, slate index, and homage to the generations who built this. Underground office was welcoming to all.

Just to say iam not usually a keyboard warrior but iam raging .I brought two vouchers for velocity 2 at £112 each .I told friends we were going and seven asked to join us so we rang to book them in .I rang to book them in.as a group booking they would would be charged £73.72.a single booking would be £89.I rang zip world to ask how they could justify charging me £112 .because you can redeem it any time they said ,and I can ring any time and book anytime I said.it’s just the way it is they said.🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬.feeling mugged.

I'm unsure if there was a miss communication Group of 4 tickets are £293 Off peak. This would work out as £73.25 per person.
Vouchers do state on them that they cant be used as cash value towards a booking. They are purchased for 1 person to participate on a specific adventure.

Again i am sorry if you feel mislead in some way.

We went to zip World Fforest for our…

We went to zip World Fforest for our sons 13th birthday treat .He has non verbal autism and we didn't know how the event would go. We booked the forest coaster for him as he loves roller coaster. When we went to check in the staff were amazing and said happy birthday to him.There was a lady behind the counter called Tanya who walked up to the ride with kian and his dad and ensured he had no queuing and could go straight on the ride and would not have to get off and queue again for hisn2nd and 3rd ride .A big thank you to her as kian had an amazing time with no stress or anxiety it was very much appreciated would definently visit again x

Visited in Summer 2022 - wonderful team.

Visited in August 2022 - despite it being very busy the team were wonderful, and very helpful towards our party (including neuro diverse children). When waiting for launch, the team even yelled "two" in welsh extra loud for one of our party, and checked another who was so excited he was positively vibrating in his harness. Definitely recommended.

Corporate money grabbing, wouldn’t do again but is a unique experience.

The staff were all really friendly and funny and we had a good time.
However the corporate money grabbing is quite disgusting. I wasn’t allowed to use my own go pro and would have to pay £15 to use their cameras. The excuse was if it was damaged it wouldn’t be covered in their insurance. I pointed out I had to sign a waiver to do the zip wire so I would happily sign another one accepting responsibility for any damage caused to the camera. It seems they have a contract with REVL, who must require exclusive video rights , hence why individual cameras are not allowed. I would have appreciated being told the truth rather than a corporate excuse. Looking into this video service; the video is only available for 30 days and many reviews claim that the cameras are not checked preflight and so you could end up finishing with a faulty camera and no footage.
Throughout the experience, advertisements are everywhere. Wether it’s infomercials playing on repeat in the centre, merchandise, 2nd go offers… all interactions with staff are like your on a conveyer belt, move onto the next person as quickly as possible without engaging which adds to the feeling of it being a money making scheme rather than a personal experience you won’t forget. It detracts from the experience you’ve paid for which is already expensive enough.
After chatting to the staff, we got a glimpse of how busy they are. In summer up to 700 people per day can do velocity2. That’s £70,000 per day turnover. My feedback would be to re assess their core values, move towards customer satisfaction and away from rinsing people. People want to remember the experience so encourage videoing. What you’ll lose in video add ons you’ll make up for in influenced sales.

We do not allow participants to use their own camera equipment during experiences as we cannot guarantee that their equipment will be up to standard for use. This is because there is a risk that your own camera equipment could fall during the experience which could damage your own or our equipment, other people's belongings and / or cause harm to people or the camera user. Hopefully this clarifies that health and safety is at the heart of all we do.

Our REVL footage is available to download for up to 30 days. Once downloaded, you will own that footage forever so it's important to ensure you download or save the footage within this time period.

The cameras are thoroughly checked before each dispatch along with our other safety checks. We check that the camera is fully secure to the helmet and the mount and that the camera is recording. Most people receive their footage within 10 minutes for flying down Velocity 2, however, 24 hours should be allowed for the footage to arrive through their e-mail. If there are any issues, we endeavour to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Appalling, simply appalling.

Before I start, the ACTUAL zip line experience is great, unfortunately that is it, although I have to say the people that meet you and look after you are great.

Ok, there is a HUGE However. Their BOOKING team are simply appalling, arrogant ignorant and do NOT have clue about CUSTOMER service. They completely messed up our booking blaming US. This was rectified after about 45 minutes delay whilst there and they apologised. However, we had paid for 4 headcams, which we were told the output would be e-mailed to us, well it wasn't, almost one FULL month after, we have had 2 of the 4 and the rest has been lost ?

To even get to this point has been painful, unhelpful arrogant and asking for the SAME information ALL the time, likely in order for you to simply give up trying.

We have got to the point where they have accepted they HAVE to refund us, yet saying we booked on a different e-mail although that was very EASY to disprove, even now they KEEP asking for the booking reference on an e-mail thread that has it ALL the way through.

It's not about the money, that footage was important to us, it's not really about losing the footage, it's about the appalling arrogance and unhelpful response from them that makes me dig my heels in :-( They are extremely poor at customer service.

Only one word for them USELESS, simply useless. Never again, it's really not worth the hassle.

Update :-
Simply based on your response, I think you have highlighted your true arrogance towards your customers.

Working with the 3rd party company - Revl, we are not able to check every camera, on every adventure it is offered, but as soon as we are alerted, we begin our investigations.

I can see that you first brought it to our attention on 15 November, over 3 weeks after you were on site with us. We responded to your initial request on the same day, however i can see there was a small spelling mistake in your email - hence the delayed of 24 hours.

We were able to locate 2 of the 4 footages - which we have refunded due to the inconvenience.

If you could please complete the BACS refund form that was attached to your last email - we will process that for you.

Ignore the complainers, INCREDIBLE!!!

Anyone complaining about the wait times or ANYTHING need to get a GRIP!
What a truly amazing experience my partner and I had today, the staff are the loveliest people, I was so nervous with a phobia of heights, but wanted to make memories, and we certainly did that! There's a smaller zipline to get you into the swing, then you are taken in a lorry type vehicle with your group to the top of the mountain to take on the BIG zipline! Honestly, only 10 minutes of a ride if that so, ignore the complaining in these other comments. Every instructor and member of the team were incredible from start to finish, and made me feel very safe! I kept asking if I was secure and they made me laugh with jokes whilst reassuring me! A truly amazing experience, thank you all at Zipworld ❤️

Enjoy the impressive display of lighting and interactive elements as you putt your way through the course’s exciting and unique levels, with 4 floors to tackle.

The mine’s interesting history will be weaved throughout the course, so as you go head-to-head with your friends, you may learn a thing or two too. As you dive deeper into the course and climb the levels, the challenge will increase, really putting your skills to the test. Work together as a team or go neck and neck to detonate the explosives at the end of the course.
