Zest ok- supplier Drivalia absolutely awful!!! Never again.
Zest as the broker were actually ok except there was no number to call when I had a problem and the local supplier didn’t pick up. Price was reasonable. Local supplier Drivalia were AWFUL! Took ages to pick us up from the airport to their base and took about 90 mins to give us the car. There was then a query on some damage that was on the car but not listed on their paperwork and I had to wait even longer to get it added to the damage report- which they were EXTREMELY rude about, refused to re-print the rental agreement and manually added the damage with a date stamp. As predicted when we returned the car we had a huge row with them because they were trying to charge us for the damage we raised despite it being listed on the rental agreement manually. Eventually they relented when another, clearly more senior, member of staff admitted they shouldnt have done it that way and it should have been recorded properly (what I was trying to get them to do!!). They also tried to sell us loads of extra insurance and told us that if we had a mechanical breakdown, they would charge us €280 to come get the car !!!!! Overall it delayed us by about 2.5 hours - lovely when you have been travelling all day. I will never ever use that cowboy supplier ever again.! Zest need to cease working with them if they want to keep a good reputation.

An excellent experience at Kalamata Airport - everything was very smooth and efficient from start to finish.
We were met on arrival at the airport and were in the car and on our way within 20mins.
All online forms worked so no duplication of paperwork on arrival.
No aggressive upselling, no hassle, no queuing or waiting.
The return was equally hassle free and efficient. Fabulous, friendly staff.
What a refreshing relief - in 30yrs of renting cars on holiday, we have never experienced a car rental company that works as it should do - hooray!

Great service and much smoother than anticipated. I had to pick and deliver out of hours and it went incredibly well. I am always last minute and they made the pick up and drop off effortless. The team were lovely on the ground and the people liaising with me directly were extremely communicative and gracious. The cost was very reasonably priced and my experience was fantastic! Used for the second year running and once again reliable and excellent from point of booking, collecting and returning.
The booked out of hours return charge is a little steep at £30 which allows for 2 days entire days parking at the existing 19 euro full daily rate in P1. As most UK flights depart around 9.30am the return facility/booth really ought to be manned from 7am or the charge made to reflect only a few hours parking.

Never let me down
I have used Zest a number of times and they help me with all my international car hire. They are clear, concise and offer an intuitive app and online process along with a very well supported 'chat' and person to person call experience. I always hate it at the foreign desk when they tell you that you have purchased the 'wrong' insurance and that 'theirs' (albeit 4/5 x the price), covers 'everything, having been told by Zest that the one I have purchased from them does the same. I simply call Zest (as advised by Zest), explain the situation, hand my phone to the colleague on the car hire desk. 2 minutes later, I am being processed and keys handed - no more speak of purchasing their insurance. Well done Zest, I will continue to use you for my car hire needs
