Avoid like the plague

⁹Do not use this company, they are a scam. They didn't clean half the windows, and did a poor job on the rest. We have been trying to cancel their services, but they won't let us cancel until we pay for the previous "cleaning" and the only payment method is Apple Pay, but we don't have Apple devices. The only option is to catch them when they turn up and give them cash, but they don't tell us when they will be here so we have to guess! This can't be legal.

Edit: the contact number provided in the response below just rings for a while and then cuts off, don't think anyone is even staffing the line

Payments taken despite cancellation

Your Local have taken 2 payments of £18, so total of £36, from my credit card despite me cancelling the service on their old portal and not signing up to their new account!
From other reviews this appears to be a regular problem and I will be reporting the payments to my credit card company if they fail to refund following an email I have sent.
Don’t sign up to these as they appear to take very little notice when you cancel your account or keep your gates locked.

Continually harassing my home

Continually harassing my home. Visited numerous times in the last few weeks and months with pushy sales tactics. I always say no. I work night shifts so need my day sleep. Yesterday they came 3x times in one day, sending different staff with more sales tactics. 3x in one day is a violation. I’ve told them numerous times to stop coming back and they keep returning. Further yet, disturbing my sleep from my night shifts. Even me telling them I’ll call authorities doesn’t change anything

Scam avoid

I want to cancel subscription which i didn't want at all first!! You have my card details i reported it as lost and even this was you took the money. Service for windows was rubbish. Those "window" cleaners were scammers who knocked on my door. Sent this company few emails regarding taking my details down and closing the account. No success at all. Going to contact the bank!

Window cleaner

Had my windows cleaned for some time now by Joshua. Great communication letting me know when he's cleaning them and once he's finished. Windows are always clean and Joshua is really friendly would definitely recommend

Being charged and chased for service cancelled 8 months ago …

I cancelled my monthly clean and direct debit in August 2025. This week Your Local arrived unannounced while I was not at home, cleaned the windows and are now billing me via text for a service neither requested or approved to take place. Find it very concerning that having requested my data to be removed from their database, they are still using it, and are now trying to extract payment. Impossible to get through to anyone via phone or email.

Thieves!

Got quoted £16 at first but this sharp changed to £18 (its hard to get a window cleaner round my area) which i agreed to they came and cleaned the windows and took money out my bank after speaking to my neighbour they told me they were only quoted £16. So i cancel, after ringing up and speaking to them they agreed to charge £16 per clean if i continued to use them and sign back up with them, i agreed. Today after checking my bank account they have took 2 payments of £16 only 4 days after taking the £18.
So Monday to Friday this company have took £50 out my bank. I will be reporting the theft.
They also tell you that you will get an email to set up an account which never comes.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Payment made but this company attempted 5 times to get more payments.

I had my windows cleaned. Made the payment but still 5 more payments was attempted to be taken. I contacted the company and was reassured that this would be sorted. This company still went into my account to collect payments. I contacted my bank to block and cancel the subscription, I emailed the company and called but they still ignored my request. It's the first and last time that I will be using them

Great service all round

I've used this company for some time now. I have to admit there have been a few issues for example delayed notifications they were coming so I didn't think they'd been & was still being charged & also being sent payment requests when I've already paid.
However, the customer service that I have received from Chris has been absolutely brilliant. If there's an issue, he finds a solution or updates my account if I send him the proof that I've paid via my banking app.
Today I came out to work & saw that my windows were absolutely gleaming. I was really impressed with Liam's work. Yes, I've had a couple of issues but it's the customer service, cost & Liam's expertise that keeps me being a loyal customer.
