We had the absolute pleasure of Emily playing at our wedding drinks reception and we were blown away with how incredible she was!

Our whole experience working with Emily was fantastic, from our very first interaction she was so bubbly, enthusiastic and friendly! Her podcast was also a great listen and really helped during the lead up to the wedding and dealing with the stresses of planning.

Our chosen songs also included Bollywood music, which Emily performed perfectly! All of the guests had so many compliments about what a talented musician you are!

I couldn’t recommend Emily more, she really added in that extra magic to a special day!

We hired Emily very last minute as our original violinist ghosted us with 1 week to go til our wedding! She was amazing and learnt the song we wanted even in so little time. She was very professional from the start and the process went very smoothly, and she was genuinely really friendly and cared about our day. On the day she played beautifully and the guests loved her! Thank you so much!

I booked Emily for my wedding in January 2026 and she was outstanding! The violin duo was playing during our welcome drinks and dinner and everyone was blown away. Not only was Emily so easy to work with a super professional, on the day she was such a lovley friendly face to see. I would highly recommend her for your wedding, you will not be disappointed.

She played all the songs we requested beautifully, and the atmosphere she created was just perfect. So many of our guests came up to us afterwards to say how fabulous she was. I thought I had left it too late to find a violinist for our September wedding. Emily was so supportive and insisted we would be ok. She then found us a brilliant violinist. She’s lovely to deal with and we can’t wait to have a Yorkshire Violinist at our wedding!

When booking the Yorkshire violinist, the support Emily gave was unbelievable! The podcast she shared has been so beneficial at calming the nerves and the day itself was more than we have ever dreamt of.
Even though we only had a very small intimate wedding I still want to feel like a ‘bride’ and having a violin was something I have always wanted, so why not?

Everyone loved it and it removed all the stress of would the Bluetooth speakers work? or would someone play the right song? Etc.

I got in touch with Emily to discuss having the violin played at our wedding at Hazlewood Castle, noting that this would be a surprise for my wife-to-be. Emily already had a booking but explained that she had other violinists who could play in this instance.
Emily was super helpful throughout and supported the decision-making process with songs for the ceremony and the styles that would work nicely together. She even sent me clips of my chosen songs to see how they would sound on the violin. Being able to choose your own songs is a brilliant bonus and really added our personalities to the day.
On the day, Naomi came and played absolutely beautifully and received so many compliments from our guests.
Overall, I cannot thank Emily and Naomi enough and would thoroughly recommend having their services on your big day!

We had the Yorkshire Violinist perform at our wedding on Saturday at the KP Club and we couldn’t have been happier. Having her there really added something special to the whole day. One of the standout moments for me was hearing her play as I watched my bride walk down the aisle, it genuinely made the moment feel magical and something I’ll never forget.

Her talent is incredible and all of our guests commented on how brilliant she was. She kept everyone entertained throughout the day with such a great range of music. We’d absolutely recommend her to anyone looking to add that extra touch of elegance and atmosphere to their special occasion.

Booking with Yorkshire Violinist for our big day was so straight forward with fast responses and all we need to know sent straight over i.e. song choices, idea of running order of when she will be playing. Also a receipt of paid deposit for confirmation which I like.

We hired Emily back in Feb 2024 for our May 2025 wedding. From our first interaction all the way to the big day, the experience that Emily provides is just amazing. Her communication and assistance in picking music is unmatched and we will forever be grateful!

We chose the Gold Duet package (violin and cello) and my goodness did they add another level to our beautiful day. Both ladies were incredibly talented and we cannot recommend them enough.

Emily was already booked for our wedding day however she put forward Naomi who was available. The one thing I definitely wanted for my wedding was to walk down the aisle to Pictures of You by The Cure! Emily and Naomi made this happen and it was perfect. We had an eclectic mix of songs and Naomi performed them amazingly.
