Friendly staff, good size room, clean & excellent transport links
The hotel was great and so were the staff, very helpful and friendly. Despite the hotel being on a busy road you don’t hear any outside noise.
The room was spacious and had a small fridge which was great for milk, sandwiches and drinks. The bed was very comfortable and we all slept very well. Plenty of plugs for charging, and also a British plug which I’ve not seen before.
Molenwerf tram stop is right outside the hotel. Line 19 runs from here and you can be in the Leidseplein within 20 minutes. In the other direction the tram runs to Sloterdijk Station where you can get a train to Amsterdam Centraal. The Metro also runs from Sloterdijk.
I would throughly recommend this hotel for friendliness, cleanliness and transport links and we look forward to staying with you again on our next visit to Amsterdam.

Excellent value for money
Very good location -- far enough from the city center to keep the prices lower, but quite close by metro (12 min to Weesperplein). The only down side is that there are no supermarkets, or even food shops around. Also, there was much rubbish on the pavement right next to the hotel.
The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable and quiet. All standard facilities, incl. small fridge, plus coffee machine (with capsules).
Altogether, an excellent value for the money I paid.

Girls trip
We liked our room and the location, for our interests, museums & easy access to public transportation. But the noise in the courtyard from the daycare, kinder school? was too much during the day. The children played directly by our first floor window and it was loud! On the second night of our stay there was also adults playing some type of game out there until 11pm and it definitely kept us awake. We had absolutely no interaction with staff, except for them to tell us they had no ice and asking me for our keys at check-out. They have a machine that checks you in and activated your room keys. Our room refrigerator did not work, but we did enjoy the safe in the room.

The hotel itself for Amsterdam is well worth the price! The staff was welcoming and the hotel was clean and upto a nice modern standard. Nice and easy check in and check out. The hotel surroundings leave abit to be desired but the bonus is you have all everything you need around you. Dominos within 5 minutes walk. KFC 2 minutes. Late night smashed burger bar just behind the hotel within the shopping complex with supermarkets ect. Roughly a 50 minute walk into Amsterdam central. If you don't mind a walk or public transport.and don't mind not having great views. Then this hotel ticks the boxes! I would stay again.

The room we stayed in was at the very top of the hotel. The sink did not drain, the cups for water were visibly dirty (brown sludge on the bottom), the carpet was wet and the room smelled very musty.
I left an expensive pair of sandals at the hotel (my bad) and drove back the next day to get them. The front desk staff was so rude when I asked where they would have gone, including telling me that they might be in a cupboard because “there’s a lot of cupboards in the hotel”. When I asked him to check the room where we stayed he refused. I had to walk away without the shoes which was disappointing but the service was so rude.

My experience was terrible; I had an allergic reaction, probably due to dust mites in the room. I couldn't sleep and had to spend the night on the street.
The service was not good, and the staff wasn't friendly.

Great location for the direct airport bus and trams to get around the city.
Staff ok with a couple of really friendly reception colleagues.
Room was clean with clean towels provided daily.
Bathroom would benefit from shelving and hooks for our 3 person room.
No kettle so we had to use a coffee pod machine to have hot water for cups of tea. This meant that the tea tasted of coffee for a few cups, and that the water was never hot enough.
We were happy to find a safe and fridge in the room.
We were also relieved to find the air con worked due to the exceptional weather end of June 2026.
We booked in March to prepare for our holiday, but had we booked nearer the time we would have saved 600 euros, which was a disappointment as that is a lot of money for us.
We did not opt for the breakfast due to the additional cost, and that it is unlikely to have much dairy and meat free options to eat. They did provide soya milk on request for the tea in our room though.

Good value for money
The room was clean and hotel quite modern and good price (better directly with hotel than via booking.com). It had a very good value for money ratio.
Also 24 hr reception with automatic checkin/chekout at a machine, especially useful when checking out early for an early morning flight. Would be more convenient to be closer to the Sloterdijk train station, but a 20 min walk at night wasn't that bad in the end, and during day it's well connected with buses and trams. Also to Zandvoort beach with a public bus right from a stop opposite the hotel.
I used the microwave at the hall, but a little fridge in the room would be really really helpful (you can't use the fridge at the reception for food).

Needs improvements!
The location is wonderful, because there is a metro station next door and a tram stop 2 in front of the hotel, from where you can easily reach all the necessary places.
Speaking of the hotel itself, the room was not cleaned once during the three nights. The pillows were small and worn out, and the room was hot and it was impossible to sleep even though the so-called air conditioning system was turned on and set to 19 degrees. It felt like +26 degrees. There is not much choice for breakfast and if you have to stay for several nights, you get tired quickly.
For such an amount paid, the hotel could have tried harder and provided adequate comfort!

Hotel itself inside is lovely
Hotel itself inside is lovely, outside is like a dirty industrial estate. Location is awful for getting anywhere via local transport. The breakfast is way overpriced for what you get. The staff don't seem to like the brits and didn't seem very welcoming. Wouldn't stay there again.

some bs policy
location was not even that good, could have totally paid a bit more to go somewhere closer to the city, some bs policy about nonrefundable rooms when it was on the fault of booking.com double booking rooms and hotel refusing to give my money back for such a stupid reason basically stole my money and refuse to give it back, room was unclean especially floors and other furniture, room looked really bare and old (getting the vibe pristine shouldnt be the way you describe your hotel), other facilities are mid and nothing to do in the area gotta go out 40 mins, did not listen to my complain about a loud neighbor blasting music at 1 am, do not recommend dealing with this bs policy staff and place

Heatwave ready!
Visited Amsterdam in June 2026 during exceptional heatwave. Hit 37 degrees C at times. Hotel is conveniently located for all transportation links in and around centre of Amsterdam, and travelling back to hotel for freshening up was a cinch. There was a fridge in the room and the shower room was clean and functional. Air con was excellent and always got a good nights sleep on extremely comfortable bed.

The room was lovely and big don’t get me wrong but the bath room was disappointing so dirty smelly was awful not clean at all which was disappointing considering the room was nice and big. There was mould everywhere too.
