Stay Away
This business took my payments every month for 3 1/2 years and not once did they communicate with the credit card companies for negotiations. In the end, I was literally told by staff there wasn’t anyone assigned to my case. I found myself further in debt and out of the attorney and filing fees charged by them. Stay away!!!
WYO Lawfirm is the worst
WYO Lawfirm is the worst! Take your money and do it yourself. They constantly violate the contract and constantly extend the contract...They are not a debt consolidation as they claim to be, they let your debt go into default and then they wait till a lawsuit happens. This allows them to break their promise due to a tiny clause and make more money. They tell you they can save you X and you'll only pay X% on the debt when it was entered. Then they go on to say "no it's X% of the future amount. The collection agency needs to make money too!" I don't care about a collection agency, not my problem. So to end this long story, Do yourself a favor and talk to your debtors. This will save you Thousands of dollars and years of Credit problems. This place is worse than garbage!
Wylo Law Firm total scam/didn't accomplish anything they set out for me
Orginally, I was with Summit Law and paid the full 4 years. It wasn't enough and they extended the program another year. During that time, they went under and Wylo Law firm took over. Since December of 2023, I have failed attempts to reach the new firm. After being on hold for over 1.5 hours, I finally got someone in March. I kept a record of screenshots (of the number of attempts and hours of waiting) to document how terrible Wylo Law firm handled my account along with the merger. I was told a settlement was reached and then flatlined again. I had to put stop payments in place. The extra year is nearly up. Here it is September of 2024 and I am not even permitted to sign into my account at www mywylolawfirm com (this review doesn't allow you to post links) to see any updates, status of my two remaining debts, nothing. Still to this day, no contact whatsoever--by mail or email. I just received an email from Global (the finance company that drafts your account on behalf of the lawfirm) stating my account has been closed by me, NOT by "my behalf" (the firm) and I just received a check in the mail for $8K that's been idling in the savings and never used to settle the last two accounts. Furthermore, it was almost just enough to cover the debts, even Without reaching any "settlement discount"!!!! Unreal. Hack jobs. Get your money and advocate for yourself.
The worst company I have ever dealt…
The worst company I have ever dealt with. Started out ok but went bad from then on. I had to stay on them all the time or they would not do nothing. Sent in all my papers saying I was getting subpoenaed and they done nothing. So I got a wage garnishment and was paying over 500.00 for that plus paying wyo 400.00. they just said sorry and took that card off the list as paid. Then close to the end of my contract I kept asking them why they wasn't settling some of these cards and never could get an answer for months just they would check into it. Then they extended my contract two years longer and said it was just a guess what they said they could settle all my credit for. But beings they couldn't settle for that I just had to keep paying. In the end I payed more than if I had just payed the credit cards off myself. O and it wouldn't have ruined my credit or had lawsuits on my record that will never go away. This was the worst financial decision I ever made. They take there thousands right up front and once they do that your on your own or you can leave but they got there money.

No Longer a Happy Camper
Things were going OK since 2019, when I started the program. I'm down to the last creditor and I can't speak with anyone. I was on hold for about 3 hours the other day, two hours today. The offer they made to me was more than the original balance, so now I have to pay an additional $200 to graduate, but I can't get in touch with anyone! In the past, I would call and ask questions with no problem. Now that I'm trying to cut them loose, nobody wants to speak with me. SMH
This company is a fraud
This company seem to be closed. They are not answering your calls nor emails. I was supposed to graduate this program 2 years ago and I am allegedly did so in December of 2023. Why did they charge me in Jan 2024, despite having in escrow about $623 above what I owe plus whatever fees? Why did they schedule drafts for February? I had to do a stop payment and pay $30 for same. Please report them the the Department of Consumer affairs.

They even have a way to convince Hunting bank to keep taking money from me, after I put a stop payment on them..These people have changed their name 4 times in four years and still are not under federal investgation... Run....Please any Law Enforcement,,, put these criminals in prison...

Month after month extensions?
WYOLAW LLC (Summit Law Firm)
I’ve been using this company since 2019 to help me out with debt settlement. My contract scheduled settlement was scheduled to be completed by Nov 2022 and it’s now July of 2023. Month after month my settlement continues to extend to no end. Early this month I spoke with a rep on 6-29 (Shawdrae) and she reviewed and confirmed to me that my last scheduled last payment settlement ends at the end of this month (July 2023) Today I received an email requesting a call back to review my account since it’s (finally) in Litigation. How interesting because i was told it’s scheduled to be completed at the end of this month. Guess what? They need more funds to complete a settlement otherwise my file needs to be extended (AGAIN) for another 6 months. I REGRETFULLY signed up with this company but I have no choice and I’m all tapped out to even go to another company to settle my debt. Month after month continues withdrawals and I can’t keep up with this economy. I know I’ve paid my dues and I’ve paid them on time. I am at a loss and PLEASE end this.
Contract scheduled payment 2019-2022:
Enrolled debt: $36,345
Adjusted debt: $31,527
Payments: $750 x 12 x 48 mos = $36,000
Per my account:
Resolved debt: $21,185 (7-2023)
I’ve been told that I only have $4500 on my escrow account. Something is not adding up right.
some bumps in the road, but worth it in the end
I enrolled with WyoLaw in 2018 with 12 accounts totalling almost $49K. I paid $756 per month into the program for 50 months and they settled ALL 12 accounts for a total of $28K. My credit score was in the 500's when I started and is now over 700. I only gave 3 stars because they made a few (costly) mistakes along the way. They neglected to send installments to one of the creditors that had taken legal action and with whom a payment plan had been set up. Upon threat of having my wages garnished when the creditor sued me a second time, I had to come up with a large sum to settle. I also discovered that for a little over a year, they were duplicating the monthly admin fee deductions. However, when I brought this to their attention, they returned the funds to me promptly. Having a creditor take legal action was scary and stressful, but the atty who handled my case was excellent and responsive and reassured me throughout the process. I think that many of the negative reviews are from people who may not have a good understanding of how the process works and how long it takes. If it were not for the 2 expensive mistakes they made, I would have given them 5 stars.

Worst choice I have ever made
Worst choice I have ever made. Please don’t make the same mistake I did and have this company “help” you. For $10,899 (they have made off “helping” me settle credit card debt) I have been to court twice, served papers 5 times, 3 judgments and a whole lotta stress. I have paid in $30324 in 4 years to settle $19425 worth of debt. Total scam of a company and please don’t make the same mistake I did and let them rob you.
Claissic, how am I supposed to provide that info when there is no option to reply to your reply. Give me a call 970-759-4404. I would leave the email like you requested but trust pilot won’t allow that. I will provide my ID number then
Still waiting for a call?? 2/10/23

Avoid at all costs. You will regret it forever.
I cannot even begin to tell you how unhappy I am with their "services". Our relationship started off great they moved quickly once I built a balance and got several things paid off quickly. BUT... they ignored a subpoena I sent them THREE YEARS AGO and now I have a wage garnishment - which literally in this economy is sending me to bankruptcy. I've been calling for WEEKS to get action on the wage garnishment, and I keep being told it's in negotiations. THERE IS NO SENSE OF URGENCY. THERE IS NO RESPONSE. THERE IS NOTHING.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
Do not hire this Co!
I have just read quite a few previous reviews. I don't know where they find so many people who are happy with them. They are under investigation with the Wyoming AG's office. Some of that is coming from the numerous complaints to the Better Business Bureau of Wyoming. I wish I had never heard of them! We applied for a debt consolidation loan. We were contacted by someone then called Summit Law firm. They have a great sales team. We agreed and they send someone to go over the endless amount of pages they call a contract. They flip through it very quickly. If I had a chance to read it a couple of days previous I would never have signed it. We enrolled 4 different credit card debts. At the time we were drowning, First thing they tell you is to stop paying. They also tell you it will negatively effect your credit. Well It's been 3.5 years later and my credit score is still in the tank. I am still paying in $500.00 a month. This is supposed to go into an escrow account and build up so you can try to get a settlement. Hard to build up when they take close to half every month for fees. After I was in the program awhile I asked for an update. Nothing had happened. They said you had to miss at least six payments before the CC card co. would negotiate. They did settle 3 out of the 4 debts. For less than what is owed. My gripe is when there is a settlement they drag out the payment schedule for as long as possible. Example: On Oct. 13 2018 we enrolled a debt of $10,089.00 By Sept. 20, 2019 we owed $12,057.10. They did get a settlement for $4,822.84. on Sept. 23, 2019. Great! Instead of saying why don't you come up with that new total they dragged it out for 24 months. For the first 10 months the payment was $25.00. For the next 7 months it increased to $150.00. Then increased again until it was paid off. 24 months and I was paying in $500.00 a month. This month July 2022 I will make the final payment for the third debt. Now I enrolled $12,000.00 of debt I owed to Capitol One in 2018 also. They filed a lawsuit against me. They hired a local lawyer to defend me, who did nothing. This month I get notice from Wyolaw that the cc card Co. was willing to settle for $12,000.00. The original amount. It has since ballooned to over $14,000.00. When I raised the roof I got a call from someone in NY who worked for them. In less than a week He had a signed agreement and they were willing to settle for $9,000.00. I have $3,000 in my escrow account. I sent in $6,000.00 in cash and they are supposed to forward my $3,000.00. Then supposedly I will be done. It only took 3.5 years. I thought it could of been done in a year and a half. If they had offered me to make the cash settlement for the other three I would have been done a long time ago. When the third debt was at $1500.00 I tried to get them to let me make the final payment. They gave me the runaround and now I am facing the last payment. Paying them all those fees every month and this does not count the original retainer. After complaining to the Wyoming AG's office I have had all kinds of attention. Never ever again. Buyer beware!
Worst company ever!!!
Worst company ever!!!! I have been "working" and I use that term very loosely with WyoLaw since 2019 and like many others, they have screwed me over royally. When I signed up, I was originally told this was debt consolidation (mind you the guy who signed me up was gone within a couple of months after I joined). My credit was fine and I wasn't delinquent on anything until I let these dummies take over. I immediately received a summons and a threat to get my wages garnished because the law firm required weeks to respond and wanted me to handle the summons on my own (despite the fact that I pay them unrealistic amounts of money to represent me). I finally got in touch with an attorney who had a brain who then helped me stop the garnishment, however the debt then got much larger than what I originally owed. Fast forward, I have removed all but 2 debts because this company is a joke. One is the lawsuit issue and supposedly the debt was paid in full in January 2022 although the law firm can't furnish anything to prove this. Come to find out, there was interest due on the account, which has now doubled and I have a delinquent mark on my credit bureau account because these people don't know how to do their job. I would pull my other account, but it is in negotiation as well, but not holding my breath for that to go well. If you need help. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF MONEY AND HEADACHE and DO NOT USE Wyo!!!!!
If I could give them a negative star
If I could give them a negative star, I would so I will just give them an "F". It seems to me that they picked out all of the good reviews. My experience with them has been horrendous. They have caused me to have my wages garnished. I have 11 months left in a 48 month program and only 22% of my debt has been settled. I call in trying to speak with a supervisor and the rep flat out refused to let me speak with anyone. I ended up just hanging up on her. I think they must give them a script because they all say the same thing. This is a big ripoff and if I had the funds that I paid them over the last three years I would have been able to settle quite a bit of my debt. Now I am staring as this huge amount that is still outstanding and wondering how in God's name I am going to get it paid. I refuse to get back into their program because they did not do what they promised and I have no confidence in their ability. I have filed a complaint with the Wyoming Attorney General's office as well as the Colorado Attorney General's office. The attorney who started this company was disbarred and I think she just turned it over to supposed lawyers who are just as unscrupulous as she was. They are also right now being investigated by the AG's office in Wyoming and is entangled in a lawsuit. I truly wish that I would've read all of the negative reviews before I joined this so called debt resolution program. The only debt that has been settled is their own (with the money in the fees they collected from me). I wish that I'd never heard of these people.

Dissatisfied with Communication and Process
I signed up for my credit modification program being overseen by Summit Law Firm now Wyolaw Firm back in 2018 when I was working as a sales representative for the company. I signed up because I saw it as a valid way to pay off past credit debt which was adding tremendous pressure to my family's finances. Its July 2020 and I have only settled 1 account thus far- which is good. However, one of my other accounts was settled through an in-state attorney and the company appears to be botching the deal! According to the agreement with the creditor, I have missed the first two payments and on track to miss the 3rd payment! This is NOT acceptable!!! I spoke with the customer service reps who were very nice and respectful but were not able to give me the information that I needed to find out WHY my settled account is past due. I am not satisfied with the level of communication that I have received on my program. I have reached out to them multiple times but haven't received proper communication from them. Now my creditor is reaching out to my in-state attorney asking about my missed payments! Somewhere, someone dropped the ball and didn't file my settlement properly and now my creditor is not getting paid. Very dissatisfied right now!
