Before hiring Nofraud...they're the frauds

I really wish businesses would check the reviews before hiring this idiotic company. As many have written, orders go through after a week passes all of a sudden you get an email that your order was cancelled because of Nofraud. I think someone needs to see what Nofraud thinks of themselves...I'm guessing it would come back as big fraud. Too bad for these small companies trying to protect themselves, in the end they're getting screwed out of revenue by the vary company they thought was protecting them. tsk tsk NoFraud.

So I can't seem to buy anything from…

So I can't seem to buy anything from certain firearm shops. They all seem to be using NoFraud.com and I dont even get notified that my order was canceled so im just sitting there waiting for it to ship and when a week goes by with no update I check the order and what do you know it was canceled. WTF!!! I dont understand why I can't buy anything now when I bought stuff from them before. So after the 5th store that declined me I get a text from NoFraud saying that need to text yes if this was me purchasing or No if not. I texted YES and no reply back so far today. My order was canceled and now I have a feeling that ill get an email tomorrow and a bunch of hoops to jump through.

I didn't get no response back and gotten the email all late. I should have gotten the email before it got canceled. Not the next day

Declined my LitterRobot order without asking verification

I ordered a Litter Robot 4 from the official Litter Robot website (Nearly 800 dollars) without issue. My order was confirmed and processed and the charge was placed on my card, which by the way, had a $0 balance at the time of order placement. The very next day (July 26), I received a single e-mail from NoFraud with the title "NoFraud - Processor Declined".

I reached out to Whisker on the 28th about why my order was canceled and they stated NoFraud was supposed to send me an e-mail to verify my identity. They stated my order may have been declined if I did not respond to the e-mail. I did not receive any such e-mail before my order was declined.

At this point, my order was canceled and closed on my Litter Robot account and my transaction was already refunded to my bank. I reached out to NoFraud because I was interested in recreating my order with Litter Robot using the same payment method. My inquiry was focused on figuring out what went wrong and why my transaction was declined.

After reaching out to my bank and confirming there were no issues with my card, I contacted NoFraud about this issue. I communicated through e-mail with an extremely rude agent named Taylor Johnson. All I was asking for was reasoning as to why my order was declined without notice or communication.

Taylor Johnson's reply to my inquiry was and I quote "We have carefully reviewed all the information submitted to us and determined we are unable to approve the order. For further information regarding the status of your order, please reach out to the customer service team of the respective merchant directly". She immediately closed the ticket. I replied asking for a more detailed analysis of the problem, in which she replied and I quote, "For security purposes, we are unable to disclose any reasoning behind our decision. At this time the investigation is closed on our end and no further action can be taken on our end".

I was upset with her reply because I felt the only security risk at play was my own security. I felt as if decisions were made regarding transactions using my information and my money without my knowledge. I was also confused because I had no idea who NoFraud even was or that I needed to communicate with them at all to confirm my order before they sent me their cancellation e-mail.

I responded with a strongly-worded e-mail and received a new reply from someone who did not sign their response as "Taylor", as well as a shiny new e-mail to finally verify my identity. I took this e-mail as an admission of guilt that the e-mail was never sent to me.

Of course, there was no point to verify my identity for an order that was completely canceled and canned. The company did not ever admit they canceled an order without valid means, but I took the late verification e-mail as an admission of guilt.

Who would want to do business with a company who can not even send out timely e-mails, has awful customer service that blames the customer, and tries to resolve the issue sat a time point where the issue can not longer be solved? I believe this is also unfortunate, as it may have even scared off a potential sale (of nearly 800 dollars) if I did not have means to alternative purchasing methods.

As I had no issues with the Litter Robot company, I gladly re-ordered through ANY method that allowed me to avoid the NoFraud company. I do not have any trust in them.

Can't verify identity even with driver's license

I purchased a lower receiver from ar15discounts.com got an email from NoFraud I thought it was very suspicious I emailed ar15discounts about it they said they used them to verify identity to stop fraud. So I worked with no fraud they said they needed my email and a phone number I provided they said that they couldn't determine my identity based off that. So I asked if if could provide my driver's license. They did not answer my question they just asked for another email address and phone number I said I can give you another email address but I don't have a different phone number. This process repeated until I had gone through 4 emails when I just sent them my driver's license out of frustration and asked if they needed anything else. They didn't reply I got a email from the vendor that they were going to package up my order so I thought nothing of it a week later I get an email from the vendor saying they're refunding me because NoFraud told them they couldn't verify my identity.

Similar Experience

Similar Experience

Purchased a piece of hardware from an online vendor, payment initially approved, but then received email from nofraud requesting photo ID, card photo, etc. Not a chance I would share that, took my business elsewhere.

Requests highly sensitive information

I am shocked this company is allowed to exist, and is being used by merchants in USA.

They ask to send them a picture of ID with all details including the address, plus a picture of credit card with lat 4 digits. This information would be enough to put up a fake identity elsewhere and for sure, I am not going to provide any of this.

I am from Europe and to me, they have no legal base to request sensitive information like that. My bank can handle my purchases and merchant I am bying from as well.

Long story short: I have purchased a Ziip beauty device. After one day, I got an email asking to confirm it’s not fraud. I saw no issue to confirm, and did. After one more day, another email. This time asking for VERY sensitive info, like my ID picture (!!!) and credit card picture.

Besides that I would never share this to some random “security” provider. It already lead to two day delay of my order, where I actually paid extra fee of 10$ to have it delivered by certain date. As a result, it won’t work anymore and I will leave USA by the time they will be able to deliver! My money is stuck and now it’s a mess to get it fully reimbursed. I lost effort and my disappointment about not getting Ziip device on promotion is huge too.

I am simply shocked about this experience.

no thanks

Like several other people have said who would pay for a company that prevents people from placing orders! I had to reach out to the company and they said they handled and it apparently they never called the business and approved the purchase. This is one of the dumbest services to ever pay for you just lost a 7,000 sale due to this stupid service.

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. I placed an order with the litter robot company using a visa gift card I had gotten for Christmas only for this joke of a company to flag me for fraud a whole week later after the gift card had been discarded because it had been used. The investigation started the day after I placed my order and was NEVER notified. I called their customer service only for them to essentially tell me I’m SOL and their investigation is closed. It’s total BS don’t order from any company that uses this god awful site.

Haven’t bought a computer in a few years. Made an order and went to work which is a hands on job. At the end of the day when I could use my phone again I had all kinds of messages text email voicemails to confirm my order. I sent an email because after 5pm you couldn’t return the call. I received an email saying the order was cancelled and to repurchase. Why would I even bother? They flagged and deleted it. I think it’s sketchy as hell having a company blast people with messages to verify your purchase and cancel within a day. It’s like ordering something on ups and then you get one of those random text messages right after saying to click this link to reverify your address for the package to arrive properly. Its a solid NO.

Who pays a service to prevent customers from shopping?

Wont let me support an american business. Just trying to do some art while I recover from surgery and this company wants photos of my dl and credit card. Last thing I need is someone stealing my identity when Im just trying to relax, heal, and make some art with a foredom rotary tool. Apparently the company this nofraud "serves" doesnt like to be paid directly. I regret even placing an order. They charged me first and then refused to send the product. Who is the fraud? Now I dont have a rotary tool and I have to wait for my money to be refunded. Im out $650, I cant make art, which I wanted to sell, so I cant start a business wither. This is no minor inconvenience.

8 years with no chagebacks-that's impressive

I've been with NoFraud for 8 years and it has done a stellar job. I have not chargebacks while using thier service. It has also helped salvage orders that may not have been approved. It allowed me to review and communicate with the customer in addition to thier verification. I recently moved to the Shopify platform with does a good job screening potential fraud & have added NoFraud for the additional confirmation verifying transactions. It has saved alot of time & stress trying to determine if a transaction is legit or not.

Worst Fraud App

I got a fraud chargeback recently and they declined the claim despite having fraud reason. They dont cover chargeback like what they claim to be. Their sales guy Victor arranged that they wont process the responses but now their team has no clue of this.

Thankful

I got a NoFraud verification email from a company that I did NOT shop from. Turns out my card was stolen and used on 13 stores in the past 48 hours. Only 2 of those stores cancelled my order. I am thankful I was alerted - I called my bank and cancelled the card ASAP.

Really wondering what no fraud service they provide.

Ordered some toners from tonerbuzz and paid with amazon pay using a debit card. And I get email from nofraud asking transaction details, my id , proof of address. Okay, I submitted. Now out of the blue, the tonerbuzz cancelled my order saying payment is not verified and nofraud saying its fraud activity. Really wondering what no fraud service they provide. Seems like they are the fraud company. I'm stuck now and waiting for the payment to get refund in my account!
