In fact we update the MID much more quickly than within the 7 days we are allowed, and more quickly than almost all of our competitors (for most customers we upload the same day, for policies incepted after 6pm we upload the following day).
And of course we send out a certificate as soon as a policy is bought, so that if there has not been time to upload to the MID you are still able to prove insurance by producing your cert - as in your case.

Zoomcover Are Best
Needed temporary cover and zoomcover was recommended to me and getting a quote and a very fair price was simple and had cover and insurance and certificate sent to my email in less than 5 minutes,
5 star company and I would recommend them if looking for temporary cover at a good price. I definitely use again in near future

The best for temporary cheap insurance
Can’t find anywhere cheaper than ZoomCover for when I need temp insurance. They appear to be very thorough and professional although I haven’t had to make a claim thankfully.

It seems you were trying to get a quote for our Top Up product, which requires you to have Driving Other Cars (DOC) cover on your annual policy and to be aged 25 or older. As you are younger than this we were unable to offer you a quote.
Almost perfect experience
Very good experience although for some reason I didn’t receive the email with my policy and the cost pending on my bank account, so wasn’t sure whether my daughter was ok to drive or not. They were very responsive and helpful when I contacted the support to clear this up.

Perfect for new car buyers!
I am very happy with the service provided by Zoomcover. It was very reasonably priced and very easy to take out the police.
I brought a new car and wanted to test it on the road and give it to a mechanic I trusted and so these guys worked out perfectly.
The only reason I didn't leave a 5 star review, is because I didn't use their full service ie have a crash...
I would definitely recommend Zoomcover for your temporary needs.
