Scam Alert!

Scam Alert!
I am appalled by the actions of Zomato, which have led to fraudulent practices and poor customer service. After placing an online order and paying ₹349.50, I attempted to edit my delivery instructions, at which point my order was automatically canceled. Despite this, Zomato proceeded to deduct ₹349.50 from my account, and refused to issue a refund when I raised the issue.

This is outrageous and an unacceptable way to treat customers. Zomato has shown no accountability for their error, and their refusal to resolve the situation makes it clear that they care more about profits than customer satisfaction.

I am sharing this with the public to warn others of the dishonest and unprofessional practices I’ve encountered. I will not stand by while companies like Zomato take money from customers without delivering the promised service. I urge others to be cautious when using this platform and consider the risk of losing your money without any support or resolution from the company.

Zomato Gold or Zomato Cold?

Wow, just wow. I must say, Zomato has truly mastered the art of testing human patience. If there was an award for “Slowest Food Delivery That Doubles as a Social Experiment on Hunger Management,” you guys would sweep the competition.

Let’s talk about today’s record-breaking disaster—the restaurant is 5 minutes away. Not 50, not 15. FIVE. A normal person could’ve walked there, had a meal, tipped the waiter, and strolled back before my food even left the kitchen. But not with Zomato! No, no, no. Here, we embark on a journey. My delivery partner, instead of heading towards me, took a scenic route in the OPPOSITE direction. Maybe he was sightseeing? Maybe he needed a spiritual awakening before delivering my biryani? Who knows!

Naturally, I contacted customer care. “Don’t worry, your order will be on time,” they said. On time for what? My funeral? Because that’s the only logical explanation at this point. An hour later, I call again, and now I get the real plot twist—apparently, the delivery guy’s phone is damaged, so he can’t accept orders. Ah, brilliant. So, instead of fixing the issue an hour ago, they waited for me to starve and then ask if they should reassign it. You tell me, Zomato—what was your backup plan? Manifest the food through sheer willpower? Hope I forget I ordered?

At this point, I have to ask—is this a food delivery app or an elaborate psychological thriller? Because I swear, even Christopher Nolan couldn’t write a more confusing timeline than my food’s journey.

But wait, the best part? Right before checkout, Zomato sweetly asks if I’d like to donate to "Feed India." Oh, the irony! I AM the one in need of food right now! Maybe I should start a donation campaign for myself—"Feed the Hungry Customer Waiting on Zomato." Imagine donating money to feed strangers when your own food is stuck in some parallel dimension. The audacity.

And just when I thought it couldn’t get worse… The new delivery guy isn’t even moving. It’s been 20 minutes, and this man is sitting like he’s meditating on my food, contemplating life choices. Customer care had the nerve to tell me I’d get my food in 15-20 minutes. Guess what? They’ve now graciously offered me an option to cancel my order. Ah, yes, because waiting over an hour just to be told, “Do you even want the food anymore?” is exactly the five-star experience I was looking for.

So what’s next, Zomato? Are you going to ask me if I want to cook it myself? Or will you launch a new feature where I pay extra for the privilege of actually receiving my order?

Zomato, I bow down to your groundbreaking levels of incompetence. Maybe next time, I’ll just light my money on fire—it’ll be quicker and probably more satisfying. Do better. Or don’t. Either way, I’m ordering from Swiggy.

I've noticed consistent delays in…

I've noticed consistent delays in Zomato's delivery service lately. Despite paying a premium for quick delivery, the service often falls short. If delays become the norm, it defeats the purpose of using Zomato. It seems like Zomato doesn't fully understand the quick commerce business or prioritize customer satisfaction. Disappointing experience.

Worst delivery app ..never trust ..rather don't eat ...other wise you will loose your money waiting for them ..and you will get a message in app that your order got delivered ..but no solution..

You will never get food if you have ordered the through zomato ..may be they deliver genuinely but they cheat 30 percent of people throught world not delivering the order and messaging your order got delivered ..but u won't receive ..neither ur delivery boy receive ur call or the restaurant person .. and when u email to customer support they will write sorry for the inconveniences that your order didn't get delivered ..we cannot return or compensate your refund ..fraud and cheaters all over places ..some may get good but I don't know how people have reported for the fraud of this company .never order from this app..you will loose the trust and money ...

Aromas Cafe & Bistro on Waterfield…

Aromas Cafe & Bistro on Waterfield Road, Bandra, deserves a mention for the excellent quality of their food and outstanding service.

This is our third visit during our 10 day stay in Bandra and I can highly recommend this restaurant.

Order number #6479980450 i ordered a chickybiriyani from salem RR.. and initialy it showed i will get the food in 34 minutes and in few minutes it was showing 59 minutes delayed.. so i was cancelling the order.. and the app clearly showed i will get my refund to my original payment method... Because the order was still in preparation mode. And the delevery partner also not assigned... The app showed i will get my refund so i cancelled the order.. after cancellation i didn't get the refund.. even explained what exactly happend to the customer support.. they refused to refund the money.. such a frauds and scammer bastards..

Disappointed with Zomato's declining service!

Zomato’s service has been declining rapidly. Recently, I ordered 10 items but received only 8, and the issue was denied despite clear evidence. In another instance, the same delivery rider handled two of my orders but delivered only one. Despite sending proof, Zomato claimed their GPS tracking showed the delivery was completed, ignoring my concern entirely.

Customer support is highly unresponsive—emails are met with generic replies, and there’s no way to escalate concerns via call. On top of that, stale food has been delivered multiple times, and refunds for such issues are never processed.

This poor service and lack of accountability have led to an extremely frustrating experience. @Zomato, please improve your service and address these concerns promptly!

ZOMATO doesnt have quality restaurants, because zomato needs money finally customer is fools

Reason why we should not order food in Zomato.
a) All the restaurants are not quality restaurants. if the customers order food in such kind of restaurant it's headache for the customer only.
b) If you complaint the food is not delivered in time, Zomato will inform the customer we should not waste the food, but the reality is the restaurant have full load they will focus on the customer who is seated there and not for zomato,
c) Zomato will inform the customer they will take stringent action on customer, Just ask the zomato what action you are taking copy your email to the customer, they will not do because zomato needs money and they will have well in advance.
CUSTOMER :- PLEASE ORDER FOOD IN CASH ON DELIVERY CHECK THE QUALITY OF FOOD AND THEY PAY CASH

Ordered food and quality was not good

Ordered food and quality was not good. It's impossible to contact their customer service. U have to complain only through email, then they will take 72 hours to respond. Their response only with 100 rs voucher which is expired by the time they send you. If you tell them it's not valid. They keep copy paste same standard email that we resolved ur complained with voucher. It has 3 days validity we cant reverse it. When i pointed out this, they resend the same mail mentioned voucher validity for 30 days but actually the voucher doesn't exist. I asked them again and wanted to speak with them. They dont even your email correly before respond.. No way to call them.. only option is email. Thanks God they did not ask me to send letter complaints through courier.... lol

Supports sale of uncooked food to their customers. Serious health risks and unsatisfactory service from zomato. Their response to uncooked meal served is" it's not my responsibility ". Terrible customer support and irresponsible service . Order id 6343376226. Charged for a meal, served uncooked meal. And their resolutions was that they will talk to the restaurant.
Images have been sent , their customer support chatbot doesn't adress the issue simply asks to mail. After sending mail they respond that they will have a chat with the restaurant about it . This is not a resolution. This is fraud. Made me pay for a uncooked meal .

ZOMATO SCAM!! OR FOOLING!! OUR CUSTOMERS

I am gold zomato member i have order some food with my gold membership and my total bill is Rs- 341/- for some food but when i order same food with my wife mobile she has not active any gold membership plan and i added same food with same restaurant at same time i saw total bill amount is Rs- 331/- without any gold membership plan …HOW!! Please explain because i am totally disappointed when i see this #ZOMATO #SCAM and i decide to i will not continue gold membership anymor..

Missing items from order

Missing items from order, rude delivery partner, both delivery partner and restaurant throwing blame on each other and no way to contact Zomato customer care because all they have is an automated bot to respond. There is no way to contact customer support except sending an email to which I didn't get a response.

I ordered a cake from Zomato within…

I ordered a cake from Zomato within mins of realisation that I order from some other place and not from the place I was supposed to I cancelled within 1-2mins. First they told me to pay fully because I was wasting food as if they prepared cake especially for me within 2 mins. I had conversation with their representative and they said i am cancelling your order and you will get refund of this within 7 days. Its been 7 days I haven’t received and it shows no active status of refund when I write on their app. Paying them advance is a mistake if I did COD they couldn’t do this. Zomato you were supposed to be trustworthy. Disappointed.

Book a table in advance is tust a trap of zomato

I booked table and paid cover charge as well but when i went to the restaurant there wan no table available even i reached within the booking time though. they said there's no point to book the table i have to wait for 1 hour at least. we left the restaurant immediately. hence, book a table and paying cover charge is just a trap of zomato to incur 25 rs per person.
