Zomato Must Focus on Restaurant Quality

I have placed an order from Zomato at 12.30 pm. Now its 4.09 pm, they could deliver the order. Rather they were continuously delaying the order. I called up the restaurant like 10-15 times. They didn't received my calls, instead they were continuously delaying the order. Now after 3-4 hours, they have cancelled the order. Its an festival in Bengal, I have ordered food to celebrate the occasion. Now when the entire family was waiting empty stomach, they cancelled the order. We are having lunch at 4.15 pm. Zomato provided me a coupon code of 1100, but I didnt want that, I just wanted food.

My question to Zomato is that how these small restaurants get this much of audacity. Because of encouragement from you. Even the customer support executive of Zomato was continuously requesting us not to cancel the order, they are giving special attention and will make sure to deliver the order.

After so much harassment, they are still listing the restaurant as a good one.

Looting people in the name of compensation

They are looting people in the name of delivery. When I cancelled the order as it was very far from my place what they did is charged the full amount in the name of compensation. When I request the customer support she was completely deaf and dumb when I share my experience with her upfront she told compensation and close the query. At least Swiggy will refund the amount not like zomato to charged and loot the people in the name of compensation that too whole amount. Irresponsible and looting us

Utter scam

Utter scam. I joined through a promotion and got charged which wasn’t supposed to be the case. There’s no number to speak with someone and emails get no reply. Now I stand the risk of getting auto renewed despite me wanting to cancel. Don’t waste your money

I like Zomato services

I like Zomato services - they are prompt and transparent. I'm not too happy with so many different fees that they charge (platform fee, delivery fee, packing charges, GST etc etc)

Item ordered from " Kakeda hotel" cybercity , Gurugram. I paid Rs 423 by paytm.
Food from sonewehere else( no name on
Packing) was delivered to my address by delivery partner Gholam Mustafa yesterday evening.

This is cheating and fraud. Because this is not from the hotel from whuch I ordered.

Please collect the items from my address and refund the money Rs 423/_ back to me asap please. Thanks

Refused to do refund even with sufficient proof

Ordered 2 set meals and only 1 was delivered. Submitted all the proof of items sent and details of my order and they refused to proceed with refund claiming that the restaurant sent the correct order.

Told them to check my proof again and refund that one item and they only copy paste the same reply that they "regret the situation but can't proceed with refund". Extremely unprofessional.

I placed an order on the 5 th March…

I placed an order on the 5 th March 2025 for food items which got cancelled and Zomato said they will refund the money paid immediately. It's nearly 7 days now , I am yet to receive my money back . It's an untrustworthy company. Please be careful with this fraudulent company!

in my area there's alot of problems i am facing.there are like price issues. the area i am located in there are operational issues. and many more.
they are not punctual and even their offers are not appropriate. it's my request to zomato to not take jammu lightly.

This is useless reply that customer dint pick the call so the delivery partner canceled the order by himself that too prepaid order and after complaining no refund and no product delivery was made
