Pathetic Service

Ordered a cake that was spilled and was not tye design I ordered. Neither restaurant nor Zomato offer any satisfactory resolution. Spent thousand rupees on the order and what I got in return was just a two hundred rupees. On top of that, that too to be used within one month pathetic service on top of that they do not provide any actual agent to talk. Ruined our special occasion it was my father's 60th birthday.

Zomato has by far the best experience i…

Zomato has by far the best experience i have had with online delivery.
Some plus points i saw,
1. We can schedule orders which gives us the advantage to order food for future in advance if we get any good offer.
2. The voice instructions and photo upload option for delivery is helpful.
3. They show genuine delivery time. Unlike it's competitor Swiggy, it shows late when it's late and rarely i get late orders.
4. I got proper compensation for any trouble i faced.
5. Packaging has been good and service is good too. Also food portion is generous and zomato has literally exceeded my expectations a lot of time. So i am very happy using this app .
6. It gives great discounts as well.
7. I wish i could schedule a week later. Till now it's just 2 days. Hope they increase scheduling time.

Pathetic customer service...I ordered…

Pathetic customer service...I ordered food which was stale and not edible smelling and tasting bad.. but their cs exec said -

However, we won’t be able to arrange a pickup or have the order collected back from your location. Since we couldn’t verify the concern as an order-level issue, I won’t be able to process a refund for this order as well. If you don’t wish to consume the food, you may dispose of it safely. I’ll still make sure your feedback is shared with the restaurant so they can work on improving. Thank you so much for understanding.

I ordered again the same pizza onion…

I ordered again the same pizza onion capcicum last time I received other 1.5 hrs late I hv also uploaded the picture of the soggy pizza I recieved today worse than that happened the delivery partner again arrived late the pizza became soggy I asked y r u late he started abusing very bad abuse and did not delivered the order I hv already paid online pre order .Zomato services are becoming pathetic day by day the quality of food they are delivering is worse and the staffs are misbehaving this what we are getting as customers for this we r paying .Say NO to ZOMATO

A Miserable Experience

A Miserable Experience – Zero Accountability by Zomato

I had one of the worst experiences with Zomato. I made a payment of ₹633, and despite sharing clear UPI transaction details and screenshots, Zomato kept denying the refund. The proof is right there, yet they repeatedly gave vague responses instead of actually resolving the issue.

It’s extremely frustrating when a company of this scale refuses to take responsibility and makes a customer run in circles for something as simple as verifying a payment. Their support was unhelpful, dismissive, and showed no intention to address the problem.

This experience has completely shaken my trust. If this is how Zomato handles genuine issues with valid proof, it’s truly disappointing. I am left with no choice but to escalate this to the Consumer Forum because customers should not be fooled or ignored like this.

Highly dissatisfied and extremely disappointed.

Zomato should be banned completely in…

Zomato should be banned completely in India. I’m an NRI visiting India & tried using their services two times First in Delhi and then in Pune. My first order to deliver the Cake was cancelled without my knowledge and got a message saying I requested the cancellation.. Never got the Cake or Money. Can’t call anybody, can’t ask questions. Second time used in Pune, food was delivered wrong Had ordered Pizza from Pizza Hut that was completely rip off Instead of Cheese Mayonnaise was used.. again can’t return, call or complaint.. Even Pizza Hut don’t care Never answer phone calls. This is the last time I have used Zomato Such a big Scam they run

Pathetic experience

Pathetic experience. Ordered food and received half eaten food. Contacted customer care but no concrete solution. Seriously these kind of company is pathetic and the company do not provide any customer care number.

I’m honestly done with Zomato

I’m honestly done with Zomato. Every single order comes late and the food is always cold. And when I reach out for help, all I get is a useless AI saying ‘sorry for the cold food.’ I’m giving a negative rating and support ticket because this is beyond frustrating now.

Money taken but no food delivered

I placed an order on 20th October. Order showed successfully delivered but I didn’t receive food. After following up with Restaurent
And delivery partner, I found that delivery partner, delivered the food at wrong address. Delivery person didn’t show any courtesy to apologise to me or to inform Zomato about issue in delivery. When I reported issue to Zomato customer service via email, they said, that they can’t find any discrepancy with the order so they won’t refund the money. Zomato, you have taken money for an order without food delivery. At first it looked like a mistake from delivery person but after all the follow up, it seems to me that this is planned fraud by delivery person who just updated the system that food is successfully delivered but never delivered the food to me. In any case I think Zomato should take full responsibility of the issue and refund my money.

Update: changing the review to 3 star because after I posted to zomato on facebook they have processed refund for the order. Still a lot of hassle on the day of delivery following up with end result of no food. multiple fruitless follow ups with customer service email. 3 star because I finally got my money back.

Disappointing experience with Zomato and its partner restaurant. I ordered Pan Pista, but what I received was a completely different sweet. Despite reaching out to Zomato's customer support, I was met with resistance and excuses. No willingness to replace the order or provide a refund. Unbelievable customer service! Avoid ordering from Zomato and its partners if you value your time and money.

A shitty company…

My latest experience with Zomato where the customer service refused to entertain a genuine complaint about a repeat mistake in quantity by Creme & Crisp and were rather obstinate in dismissing the complaint shows that Zomato is full of shitty people. I think we all learn the hard way that such unscrupulous set ups are there to loot us by using hype and lies with no sincerity whatsoever
