Was feeling terrible about my usually capable skills, until I read the reviews here 😅
Screw holes don’t align, flimsy metal, instructions afford a great deal of amusement/swearing (take your pick), don't think it will be waterproof but at the end of day 2 of two of us constructing it, we still haven't finished and are doubting our sanity. Definitely would not recommend.

crap

crap, waste of money and time, I bought 10 by 13 feet, no seals under the walls, water is pouring inside, water is also leaking from under the screws in the roof, it's not worth a single pound, it's good for scrap

Do NOT Buy …close this company down

I wish I’d read these reviews before wasting my hard earned cash!! I think this must break the Trades Description act.
Similar and same issues to previous, 3 hrs into construction of roof & not yet done. Already had to re drill non aligned holes and constantly rejig fitting.
Evidently poor manufacturing practice and no QA. I’d be ashamed to work there. It’s clear that frame holes and respective panels hole drilled separately on poorly set jigs.Part id Labelling is a joke- old shop sticky labels that fade.
I’ll be looking for some compensation under the Sale of goods act.

Put my shed up last year

I put my 6x4 shed up last year by myself. It is recommended to have two people to erect it however. I did need help lifting the roof on though. A few tips that may help if you are looking at these reviews before purchasing one. If you are a novice to erecting these don't buy one unless you have a lot of patience/have the help of someone that has erected one before. Don't worry if there are bits of information missing from the instructions, this appears to be the norm, so you will need to use your common sense/make some educated guesswork. Some of the panel corners of my shed were already bent on arrival. I hammered them back into shape but check out others experience on here with customer service in case you need to speak to them. Make sure all componants are there before you start. Don't be surprised to find bits missing or "extras." My box contained 2 pieces from a totally different shed and the rubber covers for screws were missing. Two panels were also marked with the wrong codes (codes are stuck on parts with old fashioned retail price labels). Make sure they don't get wet so become illegible or use a marker pen to write the codes on inside of the panels first.) Use gloves when handling the panels as edges are very very sharp. Use a magnetic screwdriver as the screws are very small and there are loads of them to be fitted. Don't tighten the screws fully at first as the panels will need to be manipulated to get them to fit. Be aware you are also still likely to need to re drill some of the holes as a few will likely still end up misaligned. Leave more time than recommened to erect the shed. Make sure you buy some better screws than are supplied, for when there has been a storm/high winds, and half the roof has flown off because the fixings are inadequate when put under this pressure. Make sure no neibours are within ear shot when you curse the fact that parts of the roof are now bent after said storm. (Ive spent an hour today checking the roof and securing it further in order to prevent a repeat of last years dangerous flying sheet metal pieces, because winter will soon be upon us again). Final word of advice. Don't beat yourself up too much, for buying such a cheaply manufactured, shoddy piece of shi# just because you had the expectation it would be fit for purpose.

If I can save one person from buying these sheds I will be happy. Honestly this shed has taken two of us(both from a building background) 8 hours so far and we are still not finished. You will not find a worse product if you tried, complicated, cheap, nasty and poor materials plus the most unreadable instructions. dreadful product with no good bits at all. avoid at all costs

Rusty New Shed

Do not purchase a metal shed from Yardmaster. I bought a metal shed from them and five panels had rust on them when it was delivered. The shed is flimsy and the screws they supply to assemble it are too small to hold it together in strong winds. I had to spend another £40 on M5 nuts and bolts to assemble it. One week after reporting the rust they still can't tell me when the new panels will be delivered.

The ONLY reason I have given this awful shed 1 star is because 0 is not an option!
PLEASE avoid this piece of rubbish. If for some very unfortunate reason you have bought without reading any reports (like me,) DO NOT erect this with someone you love or even like. It'll test the best relationship in the world. Too many individual issues to mention.

The box it comes in would make a stronger shed.

When the shed arrived I commented to myself that the box it came in would make a sturdier shed. Appalling instructions. The thinnest sheet steel I have ever seen. Poor quality fixings. Holes don't line up. However, we got there, and by replacing all of the ridiculous tiny screws with flanged pop rivets it's reasonably sound. Winter will tell. I don't recommend. Minimum 10 hours to erect a 6 x 4. Reasonable value if you don't cost your time.

10ft x12ft golden oak steel shed

Just finished putting together Yard master steel shed. It was a great family project.
Instructions were hard to follow but we got there in the end.
No pieces missing, arrived only one week later than expected. It looks good and we are very happy with the value for money.

Absolute rubbish, buy a wooden one and paint it

Well thinking I was making a good choice of sheds, I purchased a Yardmaster 10 x 8 version, which in actual fact is more like 9 x 7 but i guess they measure the outside of the frame and not the shed itself. preparing a nice flat base i began to put the shed together, with i might add very little to no help from the manual other than it identifying the parts. building the roof was ok as long as you keep it square at all times and whatever you do dont lean on it, it will bend. using the screws provided, well they are a bit of a joke as 8 out of 10 dont hold and just push into the pre punched holes, I would suggest you purchase the next size up for the build if you dont want it falling to bits. the frame all laid out has the same problem with the screws, and i was careful to turn the torque setting down as far as it would go on my screwdriver. The metal is just a bit thicker than tinfoil and is easily damaged so care is needed. Overall look of the shed is good and has been well designed but sorry it is really let down by the thin metal and mostly useless screws and lack of instructions, there are videos on YouTube that helps to give you an idea of how it goes together in a hall on a piece of carpet totally flat, which is probably far away from where it is going to be used. If by chance you make the mistake, as i did of purchasing one of the Yardmaster sheds, well im sorry as you should have read this first, please make sure you place it so the prevailing winds dont drive any rain up the roof and under the ridge plates as it will get very wet inside. (maybe some flashing tape over the gap under the ridge plates might be a good idea). Would I purchase another Yardmaster shed? Not on your life, even at half the cost, biggest waste of time and money i have come across in a long while.

Giving a 1 start would be harsh but the 10x8 metal shed - stay away. The instructions are terrible. I would like to say trust the process but there really isn’t one. We had to watch their video over and over. Took a total of 10 hours to put it up. Holes were not lining up even tho we went through everything step by step.

Poorly machined and Absolutely terrible instructions.

By the time you’ve paid to have the base done and the metal shed you may as well pay someone to build you a decent wooden shed from scratch

Yardmaster 10 x 8!!!

Yardmaster 10 x 8!!!!
What a joke, and I wish I had looked at the reviews before we bought this piece of s...t from Argos.
. Size of base is different from the what was quoted.
. Badly machined - only 20% of the holes line up
. Screws are too small for the holes.
. Instructions....well my 3yr old grandson could have written better, and you can't work out anything.
. Leaks like a sieve after a small shower.
. sharp edges.
Yardmaster themselves couldn't give a toss, as called for advice before we even started putting it together as the edges were not folded enough, and they didn't seem to care really.
Spoke to Argos who said we could get a refund, but we would need to take it down, my husband is disabled and the person who helped my put it together is not available anymore.
Totally useless, so I am now having to go out and buy a load of silicon to try and stop the leaks. We would never buy another and if I could have given it a minus I would have done.

Not fit for purpose. Avoid at all costs.

Not fit for purpose. Appalling instruction manual that doesn't correspond to reality, or offer any actual insight into how it fits together. The online tutorial video is not helpful in the least. It's constructed of the flimsiest of materials that bend and buckle with the lightest of touches. Every panel had at least one misaligned screw hole, meaning that the panels don't fit together, and screws constantly shearing. Doors that don't align or close correctly and frequently jam. Took 10+ hours to assemble and leaks when it rains. A truly appalling piece of overpriced junk that they should be embarrassed to sell.

Absolutely rubbish!!

Absolutely rubbish!!! Took 2 very competent men and a not as competent man 2 days to assemble. So many issues it's impossible to mention. But it was up finally in May and filled with the usual shed stuff. Christmas eve, along came a storm and peeled off panels like opening a tin can!! The whole frame bent and buckled rendering the shed a dangerous liability! It's now completely taken apart and away to the dump. Less than a year it's lasted!!

Burn your money instead of buying Yardmaster.

The only reason I’ve given this one star is that I can’t give minus stars. The instructions are a joke. They include two see through panels that I thought were packing and nearly threw away. It leaks like a sieve and we have spent hundreds of pounds on glue, expanding foam and flash tape to find it still leaks. Orla Scullion from Yardmaster is arrogant and doesn’t give a damn. Sheds who sold me this don’t respond to phone calls or emails. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!
