Whenever I order from Wine.com it has been a good experience. There is good information on the website for the wines they offer to help you make a choice. Ordering is easy, shipping process is quick and so far I’ve never had a new wine I’ve tried be bad. Always in line with the ratings.

Botched two different gift delivery orders by sending them to me. One order included a gift bag, which didn’t fit on the bottle so they through it in the box and charged me for it. They didn’t make any arrangements to send back the wines so I kept them myself and ate the cost. I sent two different customer service emails, which they haven’t answered.
Dealing with Customer Service who is not knowledgeable about wines and I should not be interrogated about my order nor should I have to send a picture when Customer Service has the order # and access to every bottle that was sent to me.
I spent over 30 minutes dealing with Customer Service who required a picture of the bottle!
The issue was a bottle which was advertised as a Bordeaux Blend, but it was a 100% sauvignon blanc.
I love the sort features, especially customer reviews. I almost exclusively shop from top end reviews because I don't drink alcohol. But my family and friends appreciate wine as gifts. I am told they do not include recipient receipts but I didn't see that advertised anywhere

After several years as a customer, my last two orders were handled extremely poorly.
My Christmas order was never delivered due to damage in transit, yet I was left USD 89.42 out of pocket after an incomplete refund — despite the item never arriving. I also had the embarrassment of having no Christmas present, through no fault of my own.
I placed another order so my brother could at least receive a belated gift. Once again, only part of the order was delivered, with the remainder still delayed.
Customer service has been unresponsive despite a formal complaint. Between the missing refund, repeated delays and lack of communication, I would not recommend this company.
I’ve placed orders through your website for Dom for our top executives over the past three years. In reviewing prior orders, I noticed that shipping in both 2023 and 2024 averaged approximately $16.95 per recipient, with taxes around $24.
This year’s estimate came in at $39.99 for shipping and $31 for taxes. I’m not sure why there would be a 135% increase for shipping.
I ultimately placed the orders individually in order to take advantage of the free shipping promotion, which resulted in meaningful savings. I wanted to flag this in case there may be an issue with how shipping is calculated for bulk orders.
