Wickes - Grimsby Reviews 

One staff member called Yvonne, at the Grimsby store, went above & beyond for us during our resent visit. She was so helpful, intact she could have done more. I feel like she definitely needs some recognition for her impeccable customer service.

It is so wonderful to find a store like Wickes of Grimsby. The store staff like Jamie who went above and beyond in assisting me with my purchase, including arranging the delivery. On the morning of the delivery Jamie called to say Darren the delivery driver was on his way.
Darren was fantastic, he place my order safely in my garage, I didn’t have a thing to worry about.
With such a great experience when I have to purchase large items for any of my major home improvements I will be going to Wickes. My big thanks to both Jamie and Darren.

I had to have a second installer out because the first one had done an extremely poor job in installing my new bathroom. Adam and Kyle were absolutely amazing the best ever they was professional and extremely helpful. Thank you for sorting out my bathroom so I can actually use it

We had our kitchen measured and designed by Joanne who has been amazing from start to finish. She was very thorough, knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend.

Great experience, just bought a Kitchen for a refurb project. The team at Wickes Grimsby (Chris and Jamie) put together a great design option at a great price and really went out of there way to help me. I look forward to using Wickes again whilst completing this refurb project.

We have spent over £2000 buying the same flooring in batches as we renovate our large house. We have bought from several stores via various methods by delivery, clck&collect, in person and so on over months. Nearly every pack of flooring had faults - those that had no faults often had damage instead. We spent endless time having to complaint, send back the flooring, get replacements sent. Our last batch looked normal (7 boxes from Grimsby store) when we fitted it but once we put down some of the packs we noticed that it had a different top sheen and were highly visible compared to the other pieces of the same in the same room. Wickes Customer Relations have had us chasing our tails, first we had to return to that store, 60 miles away, but the store said not true. We were told the laid planks that were faulty could be return and now we are told no. We were told to complete a form for a claim to Kronospan who supplied the flooring to Wickes! We bought from Wickes, our receipt is Wickes and the refund we were told would come from Wickes but now we have to complete a form to their supplier! Why? We didnt buy it from Kronospan. This is the end of what has been horrible flooring, poor quality, not quality checked items, endless returns/refunds/replacements and even the replacements have arrived with dents/chip and a mysterious white line that runs the length of the dark wood planks, obviously making them useless too. On the receipt it says to keep it in case you need a refund - which we do, despite showing the receipt, even photos and video of the faulty planks, even despite Wickes agreeing, and the supplier agreeing that they are faulty....we are still chasing our refund. Its and endless conversation of 'he said', 'we said' and now the Grimsby store manager is blaming his own Customer Relations for offering a refund and wont take them. Enough is enough, I am waiting for the Wickes policy from them and may well take it further or just write to the Chief Executive or take it to The Furniture and Home Improvement Ombudsman. I shouldnt bother as I have enough to do renovating but I hate being cheated and made to chase my own tail when the truth is clearly that we should be refunded without more hassles and they can have the boards back/come and pick them up. Terrible customer service.

Brilliant service from Yvonne at Wickes Grimsby. Answered my questions and guided me to the area of the store I needed.
Served quickly at the till and signed me up to the trade account so I could get discount in future. She was polite, friendly and made my visit a pleasure. Many thanks.

Purchased some lengths of timber ( 47x95) from this store after looking on line. Walked in and collected from rack with-in a couple of mins, and was served by a very nice lady called Yvonne who has always been professional and knowledgeable. All very straight forward and will definitely be visiting again

I go into Wickes Grimsby most days for my work and all staff are great and hard working. Nothing is too much trouble

Excellent experience while shopping within the Grimsby Store. I was looking at purchasing plasterboard for my new property and was given helpful advice by Colin.

Ivonne is always incredibly helpful and knowledgeable in the products that wickes sell. Whenever I need to ask for assistance with anything in store Ivonne has always managed to advise me accordingly and it’s always been done willingly and with a smile which makes a big difference. Whenever I bring the kids to wickes, she’s always ready to have a little chat with them so that they enjoy the experience too. She is great, and I appreciate the help she’s given me over the years, alongside everyone else at wickes in Grimsby, I would highly recommend Wickes, Ivonne and the team for anyone who wants to ask a few questions about products while shopping for their DIY products.

From start to finish the service was excellent, Chris Moses from the Grimsby store was fantastic,nothing was too much trouble,he was very friendly and helpful and was always at hand if we needed to ask any questions or change our plans for the kitchen. The delivery and installation was also fantastic! Thanks we love our new kitchen!

I am a regular visitor to the grimsby store, all the staff are helpful, but in particular Yvonne, nothing is too much trouble for her, very helpful and informative.
