Wickes - Chorley Reviews 

We booked a bathroom design appointed which took place nearly two weeks ago. The guy turned up for the appointment and all went well and he hinted that we could have our new bathroom by Christmas.

However we have heard nothing since. I didn’t have contact details for him so reached out to Wickes on Facebook who fobbed me off and said ‘just ring your local store’. So I range them last week and was promised a call back the following day from the bathroom designer. The call never came.

Called again today and apparently he wasn’t available again but the lady I spoke to promised he’d call me back the same day and surprise surprise, it never came. So that’s 3 times I have chased now which is 3 strikes and you’re out in my book. If I have to chase a company to give them my business then they don’t deserve it.

We’ve had excellent service from Easy Bathrooms who have come up with a fantastic design and communicated every step of the way. My emails and calls answered within a day. That’s the level of service I expect so they get the job. Wickes has lost a sale and a customer.

Big thank you to operations manager Chloe and Wickes who supported our school with some donations of gardening items. This will go a long way to helping our children in their projects.

The easy way to book an appointment online for the designer to come and measure up was so easy. The actual designs were amazing and so realistic so could see properly what the finish would be like.

Wickes customer service was in regular contact throughout all the process up until all finished. There were a couple of things that needed sorting and this was one quickly and efficiently.

We were struggling to work out the best options for a project so asked for assistance. Michael came over to help and we are so glad he did. He listened and had a very positive attitude. He offered helpful solutions and was very knowledgeable.

Had some wood delivered today from Wickes. The delivery driver was very helpful and friendly.

Avoid my mistake and don’t order a bathroom from Wickes. Initial design process was quick and easy, with the designer only too happy to answer my calls and emails until we placed the order. We then had some queries regarding additional charges from the fitter and the designer was then no where to be seen. However since the bathroom was installed only 6 months ago we have come across an issue with the way the pipes have been installed and have a cracked shower tray now leaking through our ceiling. 6 weeks this issue has been raised and chased most days with customer service and conveniently the installation team don’t have a contact number (everything is done via email) I am still waiting for an update and a resolution. I have water dripping into my kitchen and pipework that needs to be redone due to blockages. Do not order from them, if you have any issues they will not be resolved even though I should still be under ‘warranty’.
As requested in my multiple emails can a manager within the warranties team call me asap, my reference number for my case is 8148332

Fantastic store and fabulous staff, have been shopping at Wickes for over 10 years using over 20 of their stores and I will always make the effort to drive to this one. The staff couldn’t be more helpful and always polite and engage in a good laugh while you are there, unlike other stores their stock is very up to date and if you see it’s available online then they will have it in store, Wickes in general can be slightly dearer than their competitors on some products however you can get all you need for your project under one roof, served by a smile and a helpful team, 5 stars is a pleasure to shop here. Will continue to make the extra drive to shop at Chorley!!

Helpful staff, didn’t have sufficient quantities of some materials but helped locate more from another branch and also made some really helpful recommendations that has saved us time digging a larger hole thanks to a new style post for fencing. Martin was really helpful.

I came in wanting some plumbing parts, I didn't quite know what I needed. The staff went above and beyond to help get me sorted and are very friendly and polite. Would highly recommend and I will be back to Chorley store
