Outstanding . my mechanic retired and he used to do labour only quotes for me , hard to find nowadays . Tried Fix My Car to find a new mechanic for me and a friend we both found someone . However needed a cam belt and water pump change and my mechanic was booked solid so i tried Fix My Car again and Formula 1 gave me a quote 60% cheaper than the next cheapest quote !!!!

I used the site to replace the cambelt…
I used the site to replace the cambelt and water pump and the mechanic is unable to send me the invoice, he just ignores me. Probably he didn't even replace anything.
I emailed the site about the issue but no reply .

Could not do the job for the original quotation
Unfortunately the garage was not able to do it for the price they quoted on the website as on the vauxhall Corsa the dealer told me the water pump should be changed together. The garage should have realised from the make and model that the belt was a wet belt. After communicating all this to them the price was far to high compared to other garages.

Excellent service arrived quickly, found the problem. Got the part by the next day and fixed the problem. The mechanic was really nice and helpful. I was very pleased. I would recommend FixMyCar to my friends and family.

Staff friendly enough
Staff friendly enough , wasn’t expecting the car to fail on so much , thing is not everyone has £700-800 spare and had no facility like bumper so that I could have the work done. Very dissapointed paid £188 for service and m o t and car is now doing nothing

I arrived to have my aircon re gassed and was greeted by extremely friendly staff and was informed what the process would be to re gas my air con which i was totally happy about. I was also made aware about the AIR-CON REFRESH BOMB which when explained would re freshen up the inside of my car and clean out any bacteria. after the job was complete the air con was now EXTRA EXTRA cold and the interior smelt absolutely fantastic. overall it was money well spent. 100% A+ rating for the guys at Continental Motors.

Website took my booking and confirmed via email, garage had stopped dealing with fixmycar years ago ans didnt get the notification of booking, was fully booked.
