This company is utterly useless

Westbourne had our vehicle in their storage from Thursday until Tuesday after a breakdown and this is unacceptable. I called the Assistance first and said I dont know why they use this Company, their breakdown service is utterly appalling. They will fob you off with all sorts of excuses and dont keep to their word, when they told us the vehicle would be moved to the garage who are waiting to look at it. I waited on the phone for one hour and forty minutes to get through and gave up. Ford Assist and Hendy gave up trying to get through. They dont answer their phones and are utterly useless. I would recommend staying well away from using this company.

Extremely rude woman at the Shoreham car pound

I accompanied my friend to collect her car from the car pound in Dolphin Road, Shoreham. The woman in the office/reception was absolutely vile, how someone can be that rude, disrespectful, bad tempered and just plain horrible in a customer facing role is frankly astonishing. The multiple phone calls with this woman in advance of visiting the car pound were equally unpleasant, I don’t think it would be possible for anyone to be ruder or less helpful. Westbourne Motors you really must do something about this, this is an appalling respresentation for your business.
The man who finally dealt with us was friendly, respectful and helpful.
Westbourne Motors, do better.

Westbourne is goid

Very positive experience with Westbourne in general and Callum in particular. Having waited for 9 hours for the RAC to rescue us, Callum arrived and saved the day ! He was very polite, very professional and very personable. Thanks Westbourne for sending Callum. He's a star.⭐

Not trustable!

I was waiting for 7 hours in a very hot weather and obviously when I called them a several times ,they kept on lying to me that the driver will arrive in the next 40 min but that ended up being 7 HOURS!!! Don't trust this company

I broke down this morning on th A3…

I broke down this morning on th A3 southbound in a very precarious spot.
I called the AA and they sent a trailer from Westbourne motors to take me to a safe place-Eashing service station.
I just wanted to say that Leon the driver was fantastic,professional and very quick to get me to safety.

I would give 0 stars if I could

I would give 0 stars if I could, been waiting since 4pm yesterday for my vehicle to be recovered and it’s now been over 29 hours, shockingly shit company, rac ought to be ashamed to give these muppets any jobs at all

Good Recovery Staff, Horrible Company

Job booked at 1.30pm Was told the ETA was 2.45, but waited until 4pm. Rep tried his best to fix my car, but by 6pm his attempts failed. He then had to leave me because he told me the company refused to pay him overtime to take me to a garage. I then had to wait a further 2 hours for another rep to take me and my car the 20 miles to the garage. My breakdown lasted over 7 hours. It shouldn't have taken half that time. I do thank the two men who tried their best to help me. Westbourne motors do not deserve them.

Malcolm came to me exactly on time

Malcolm came to me exactly on time. I couldn’t move my ev to nearby charging point. He went above and beyond thinking outside the box to achieve a recovery and full recharge.Nice guy: great result!

Just found the real-life A-Team

Just found the real-life A-Team. Most of you might not be old enough to remember the TV series. MOB 152 Pierre (aka Mr. T) did a brilliant job in record time. Mark (aka HM) diagnosed the problem within 5 minutes—no complicated equipment needed. Very impressive. Westbourne Motoring (aka Hannibal), the team leader. Great job, guys.

Beware - Cowboy outfit that should not be allowed to continue.

Just experienced their service as part of support for a major rental company and AA. To say it was bad is an understatement. After many hours and untrue time estimates we were forced to abandon the car (didn’t feel like sleeping on the side of the road). Communication was pitiful, with hour plus waiting times to try to reach someone for status ( never did make it ). This company should not be in business.

Incredibly rude driver

Incredibly rude driver. Swearing at traffic, telling me to “F off”. Can’t imagine you’d want that sort of staff member towing your car after a breakdown if they’re so happy to abuse drivers whilst on the road. Laughable

John from Westbourne towed us to a…

John from Westbourne towed us to a garage yesterday bank holiday Monday after another breakdown service let us down .

He was quick to arrive calling me when he was on his way. He loaded us up quickly gave us some water and took us to a garage to get our tyre fixed.

John is friendly ,polite and gets on with his job. Just what you need in a stressful situation.
Highly recommend Westbourne motoring assistance and John.

Have just had a call out with Tarren…

Have just had a call out with Tarren from Westbourne to a recent breakdown I encountered.
Tarren contacted me literally as I put the phone down to Greenflag and gave me an eta which literally was spot on.
Proceeded to find the fault with my car and administered a temporary fix to enable me to drive to home where I’ve now booked the car in for full repair Friday.
Thank you so much Terran for being so helpful, friendly and sorry I follow the wrong rugby nation 🤣
An absolute credit to you guys at Westbourne.

ALTERNATOR REPLACEMENT

I was very happy with the service from Westbourne motor assistance they were reliable quick to fix my problem and contacted me when work was beginning I would highly recommend them if your car is broken down Steve the mechanic even pumped up my tires and checked oil and water over all a very good service

Impounded our car for no reason! Profiteers!

Started off well, turned up quite quickly and pulled the car off the grass, no real damage but instead of giving it back they put it on their truck and took it back to their YARD! so incredibly rubbish, they take ages to come out (5 hours+), rude and very uncaring attitude. arrived just to tell us the tyre was flat and there’s nothing they could do (which we mentioned in the call to begin with of course) didn’t come with a tyre (even though they said they would and we gave them info for what was needed) so then it was another 5 hour wait for recovery. We told them we needed recovery from the start but they told us they couldn’t send it as they have process to follow which seems ridiculous. Also they went to the wrong pick up address because they didn’t take care in taking it down correctly and then proceeded to take half an hour extra to get to the correct one (which was a 9 min drive away) to clearly stop to get McDonald’s on the way !!

Absolutely disgraceful

Absolutely disgraceful.
Not able to get through to them, a two hour booking turned into a four hour window no sign of anyone for another 2 hours.
Not even a phone call to update , green flag unable to contact disgusting
