Wessex water thoroughly and promptly investigated the rain water drain blockage under my garden and provided me with extremely helpful advice as to the cheapest, most efficient long term solution, namely by way of a newly laid drain under the garage floor.

Rapid response to blocked sewer
Reported a blocked sewer and they dealt with it the same day. The engineer, Will Plummer, explained the problem and cause of the blockage and cleared it very quickly and efficiently. Will deserves to be recognised for his customer service which was excellent. Thank you Will!

Leak reporting
Not a purchase but a report of a leak on a residential street during the driest summer on record. Prompt reply and the workers came within the designated time-frame, but were thwarted by all the parked cars and some residents on holiday. Would help if WW could alert householders at least 24 hours in advance that space will be needed for their vans etc, hence a 4 star rating.

It is good that there is facility for online report but it was complex and complicated to find the location of it. Especially I am not belongs to the county. Also I cannot really understand why is not possible to give location on map, why need to have address, and why need for an agent to do it instead of able to report it on a simpler way.

Dean was amazing came out on a Sunday and dealt with a blockage he was so kind and efficient and I could not have hoped for better!
All sorted in an hour or so, from what seemed like a massive issue was just dealt with so smoothly 😀 feel so relieved its sorted.

Don't have a water meter with wessex water
Everytime I question the amount I'm paying I get the same bog standard answer "you are using the amount of water expected for 2 people" eventhough I explained that I only shower once a week. I take my laundry to the laundrette and I use bottled water to take my medication. I've had my property checked for leaks I have none etc. Why is my bill so high and increasing. I think the Meyer reading is wrong or mixed up with a neighbours who have 4 people , paddling pool, kids dogs etc. No-one seems to listen. I am living in water poverty. Their suggestion was to send me a link on how to save water!! How can I save more water when the only water I'm using is to flush the toilet

Please note, to carry out the relevant tests on your supply, we will require you to be at home at the time of the visit.

Overflow problem
It was easy to get in touch with someone about the issue I had.
I first spoke with Amy, who was very helpful, she then passed me over to Holly in the accounts department.
She too was very helpful and supplied me with a link so that I could provide information to hopefully get a favourable result.
