What a waste of time and money. Only purchase if you don't mind spending a week with out you car. Customer service is a joke. They take your money and run.

I am the service Manager for an RV and Automotive Repair facility. Revolos does literally everything they can to find a way out of paying for anything. They are the absolute worst company to work with.

Do not waste your money. Read the fine print in the “ultimate” package. A lot of stuff they can get out of. My mechanic wasted 90 min with them. They also require a prior authorization which they can take 10 days to review. Then refuse to pay anyway. How long can you go without your vehicle?

Very displeased. I bought the best warranty package. It started with the company dragging their feet for two weeks due to maintenance records. Then they went to wanting copy's of the receipts. Once they were produced, they sent out an inspector for him to inspect the claim. Then him not knowing anything about the truck he (assumed) it had bigger tires then what was on it. Mind you a factory set of tires are on it. Now because of some yahoos (opinion) they are not going to cover damages. $6k out of pocket to get the truck back, now I going to hire an attorney.

I purchased a Diamond extended warranty fir 60,000 mikes on a 2018 Chevrolet Duramax. The warranty was to expire at 112392 miles.
On a return trip from Kansas on 11/03/2021, the truck went to limp mode. I took the truck to a Chevrolet dealer, mileage 112346,
They checked it out and determined issues with #4 injector, but no parts to repair the truck.
They reset the codes and said the truck was running fine but #4 injector needed replaced.
I pulled out on I-70 eastbound and limped to Terre Haute, In.
I pulled into a motel at Terre Haute, In with mileage at 112391, one mile of being out of warranty.
On 11/04/2021, I drove the truck to a diesel repair shop, mileage 112398, six miles over.
I called Northstar customer service to discuss repair coverage.
I explained what had happened and that I had documentation from the Chevrolet dealer in Casey, Il and I would take s picture and send it to them to show the truck was still covered by warranty.
I was told by the customer service rep the truck was out of warranty and they would not cover any repairs.
It did not matter that I had documentation showing the truck had warranty coverage when the problem was identified and could not be repaired!
My advice to anyone being asked to purchase extended car warranty through Northstar by Revolos, take the money you would spend for the warranty, put it up for that rainy day and use it for the repair.
You will probably still have some money left over.
Buy the warranty and you have nothing!!!!
Northstar by Revolos car warranty is a rip-off. They are stealing your money just as if the put a gun to your head. You get nothing in return when you need help the worst!
Avoid like the plague!!!

This company is a scam. We had all the right documents and they refused service. Now me and my family is out of thousands!!!! They don’t communicate they have shady customer service. I’m still fighting this cuz money isn’t the issue it’s the principle and what’s right. I think you have have to find them under protective life insurance after doing more research

In Oct 2016 I purchased an ASSURGUARD warranty my through my CU for my 2013 AUDI A8 (in service on Nov 2012. ) The Assurguard was a 5/75k but it was an all Exclusionary contract so you didn't have to worry about knowing what's covered (which could be 500 out of 1,000 components and you have to know the other 500 so you know how important/unimportant they may be) . This is where most companies get you - they put down what IS covered. Exclusionary most of the time is about 20-30 parts/components. Anything that not on that list is automatically covered. Exclusionary is hard to get with older mileage cars. But they are out there, albeit, some very expensive.

In 2016, the co. was known as interstate but was re branded as Revolos (not sure what year) I had control arms replaced, radiator system replaced, oxygen sensors and a power window (2017 and early 2018) . This easily paid for what I purchased. But all the recent complaints shows a pattern. The review that they may be denying claims possibly to chap 11 is an astute observation. In fact my older CU no longer sells the ASSURGUARD Warranty and I wondered why. So Im looking at another company. I am glad I checked them out rather than assume based on my own experience

One auto service provider declined to work on my car if I wanted to use Assure Guard as they had not heard of this company.
After I had to take my car to a dealership, the dealership rep said that they were on hold for a while before getting to someone. They said that they payment terms were not customary to what they see with other warranty programs. It was obvious the interaction the rep had with Revelos (Interstate Assure Guard) was not what he is accustomed to.

Never use this company!!!! Every claim that I submitted was denied. The last claim for a "Turbo charger that blew" was denied because I did not have enough "oil changes"- so if you are over 500 miles off on a 10,000 mile oil change, they will deny a claim on anything else in the car that goes wrong. I paid $3500 for a 4 year warranty and threw the money down the toilet. The original warranty was written under "National", but they got bought by Revolos= Revolting!

I would not recommend. My utv oil pump went out and the adjuster came and looked at it and said it was bad . Then looked at the utv and said it had over size ties , 28 in . Everyone knows tires have nothing to do with the tires . They denied the claim . Stuck with a repair bill now . I am canceling the rest of my year

This company is a lier, and they should not be in business. I was with this company fir 4 years and had never filed a claim and when I did, they gave me the most hell. I will be reporting them to BBB. And forwarding all complaints.

An absolute nightmare to work with. I filed a repair claim for a customer, and although each person I spoke to was very nice, I have never worked with a more disorganized, incompetent warranty company before. No one ever seemed to know what was going on with my customer's claim, I sent SEVERAL emails with information they had requested from me, and they continued to ask for the same information over and over and over. A process that should have taken a few days has taken over a month and is STILL not resolved.

Horrendus customer service. They will nickle and dime you the entire time before paying a single penny,.

Stuck with a $3000 engine repair and I bought one of there supposed best packages. This place is a scam, they find the tiniest ways to get out of repairs and there is nothing you can do. I didn’t have receipts from buying the oil and filter for my truck maintenance so they said that voids my warranty by not have those receipts!
STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS!

I'll start with this would be zero stars if I had the option. Second claim now after the first one covered absolutely nothing. Several issues with my rv including hot water heater not working, bad rail in a slide out and some septic/ black tank issues. $100 deductible and they covered $102 worth of the hot water heater problem and said the rest is maintenance... So long story short I paid 4k+ for a warranty that has now covered 2 dollars. PLEASE AND I MEAN PLEASE if you want to set fire to your money buy this warranty.

Im a auto repair shop who was getting paid for repairs. but they dont seem to be the best company to deal with. getting run around

Tried to use to use my warranty for a oil leak. Was given the run around as to why they would not cover it. Every time I called customer service they keep blaming it on the dealer (repair shop) for not responding back to them. They only let you talk to customer service and not to the claims department and they have no idea what is going on. Just want to try and get you off the phone. I should have read the reviews before I bought the warranty. Lesson learned!

Please do not purchase this product. They will not follow through on anything that has been told to you. They will make you feel like they will take care of you and then when you have an issue , they abandon you, ignore the issues and will not follow through. They are way to expensive to begin with! Please stay away from this company.

Waste of money!

I extended my vehicle loan 3 months due to being out of work because of the corona virus. After this I was involved in an accident, the vehicle was totaled, my insurance paid out the estimated value of my car, but because I extended my loan, my gap coverage was denied stating if I made my payments on time the vehicle would have been paid off with the remainder of what was left on the loan. Bad business, not sure what I paid for if anything.
