Excellent Child’s Climbing Frame
Excellent wood quality and looks fantastic once built.
Took 2 people around 6+ hours to fully build. No pilot holes in any of the pieces.
Cant give 5 stars as items missing on delivery that Waltons couldn’t tell me which until it was fully built.

Building seemed ok to start with altho there was split wood & holes in the timber , I was prepared to get the filled my selfs as I know no wood is perfect .
BUT only a month in & my building slats are coming apart , not good at all imagine what it will be like in winter , I’ve raised concerns but getting no where . Do your home work read all reviews & if I was you I’d shop else where. I also paid the company to put my building up hoping this would be done perfect , rubber roof at £600 is lifting not glued down tight . Absolutely devastated!!!

We've been corresponding with you directly regarding your concerns and have carefully reviewed the photographs you've provided.
As explained, log cabins are manufactured from natural timber, which will naturally expand and contract as it acclimatises to changes in temperature and moisture levels. This movement is expected and is why the building is fitted with storm braces, which should be adjusted periodically to keep the logs compressed together as the timber settles. This settling process can continue for up to 12 months, and sometimes longer depending on seasonal weather conditions.
We also noted from the photographs that the building appears to have been treated with a wood preserver only. To protect the timber and comply with the terms of the guarantee, a waterproofing treatment should also be applied once the preservative has fully dried, in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
In addition, the photographs indicate the building is being used as a salon. While the cabin can be used for a variety of purposes, this type of use can generate increased levels of moisture and humidity, which may accelerate the natural movement of the timber. Ensuring the building is well ventilated and that moisture levels are managed will help minimise this.
We appreciate this isn't the outcome you were hoping for, but we wanted to provide some context around the natural characteristics of timber log cabins. Should you require any further advice on adjusting the storm braces or caring for your cabin, our Customer Service team will be happy to assist.

Some parts warped!!
All ok except one of the doors is a bit warped so I had to by a rotating clip tobattach to the right bottom of the door ro keep it shut. The side panels were not straight which had a knocking effect on fitting the roof panels.

Great service throughout
Ordered a Log Cabin along with installation. Very pleased with the building itself and all touch points with various staff were professional, friendly and helpful, from the MGP customer services team to the base check and shout out to Cameron who made the delivery and Mark + Mackenzie who put it all together. Will be back to shop again at Waltons again in the future. Thanks.

It's not worth it
not worth it, think again and get a carpenter to build you something, it will be better and a similar price in the long run. The wood, fixings and instructions are poorer than expected. Wood is very rough sawn in places and there are lots of knots and chunks missing. Construction of window frames are dubious. Our windows look like bananas with large gaps that don't sit in the frame at all well. Given that we have had no rain and the wood acclimatised for about a week before it was constructed in this hot weather the amount of contraction seen throughout is mind boggling. With some bits of wall looking like they will pop out. The door frame fits one door perfectly square and the other doesn't close. No amount of hinge adjustment can help so I'm having to plane off the bottom somehow so we can close the door.
Walton's responses (prior to and after this review) are soo incredibly generic it's cringeworthy and useless. Please please please do not waste your money. I had hoped to post images but it looks like Walton's has restricted this.

Not for the faint hearted
Very difficult to put up as there aren’t even any pre-drilled holes. There were also several bit missing which doesn’t help. No response yet from Walton’s on when I’ve previously left feedback about the missing pieces.

We have not had a great experience so…
We have not had a great experience so far, the delivery driver was so rude and sharp towards us. Delivered it to the neighbour, had to then move it and told us if he has to move it we will be charged again. Also cancelled the date we chose and gave one minute notice before he turned up. Not impressed, not sure I would recommend using your company.

Ok overall
The delivery process was a little strange. The chap delivering was very rude and dismissive, would barely let us check everything had arrived before demanding a signature.
Shed is of ok quality. Assembly was trickier than expected, a lot of parts, none of which were clearly labelled (except screws) so a lot of measuring/rechecking to make sure right piece is being used - a lot look similar at glance. The lead time for Waltons to assemble was too long to wait.
Overall, OK. A fine option, but still shop around.

Corner Log Cabin 4m
The Shed arrived on time, the delivery was complete. I purchased a 4m x 4m Corner Log Cabin, and erected it with the help of an experienced skilled carpenter, which frankly made all the difference, as although sorting out the base was quite simple as were the walls, the carpenter did an excellent job erecting the difficult strutted roof ensuring and ensuring the windows and doors fitted squarely into position. We added a few window stays, cabin hooks for the doors.
The Cabin is really high quality and good value. Now putting the wood protection on and have a real sense of achievement 😎

I was not happy with the delivery
I was not happy with the delivery. The delivery driver was great, he texted prior to delivery, giving me an exact time of arrival. What I didn’t like, is that the company doesn’t tell you it will be left outside the front of your home, as the poor delivery driver has to unpack it and hand ball every item off the flatbed driver, so he doesn’t take it into the back garden. We were lucky we have a front drive, so it will be left there all weekend until the guys come on Monday to put it together.
