Took my mom out for her 40th birthday as she was craving for Japanese cuisine. We ordered Ramen noodles for both of us. I received mine first and I was waiting for my mom. She told me to eat first as it will go cold. I felt bad and there was barely any staff passing by. I had to eat the food first then when I finished I started to believe that my mom’s order might have forgotten which I had to walk towards the till and ask. They had forgotten completely about my mom’s dish and I was not pleased to hear it. I would never book this place again for any special occasions. Found a better authentic Japanese cuisine compared to this.

I met with a friend in one of the Bristol restaurants. She had never been before and loved it. The food is fresh and tasty, the menu is always evolving. The staff are always super friendly. Best of all they ban dogs from their restaurants so you can relax without being bothered.

Best chicken and noodles I have ever eaten no complaints at all i highly recommend the fire cracker chicken

Lovely food, busy but pleasant ambience

I ordered Wagamama from Deliveroo and they sent me duck instead of shitake mushroom which i only realised after taking a bite. I have been vegetarian for 5 years and I was horrified. I order and eat at wagamamas restaurants frequently. I received a refund for the item however I found it very distressing.

Came today for lunch with friends at the Leicester branch. Melinia served us and was fantastic from start to finish.

We felt very well taken care of as we needed more time to decide and they helped explain some of the menu and options.

The food was prompt and delicious.

Looking forward to my next visit.

Good collection take-out service as usual - well organised and ready on time. However, why is there no apparent way to send a feedback message to the company. I wanted to raise the issue of so much plastic packaging with the take-out - would it not be possible to use more cardboard packaging?

We had one of our worst dining experiences at your restaurant, in High Wycombe, that we had never imagined! Writing this review to express my disappointment with your establishment. 

We ordered a a vegetarian and vegan dish (we had even showed it to the staff from your website menu with name and picture), however shockingly we were served with a real chicken dish instead. We wouldn’t know the difference between a real vs an artificial one, we only came to know when we enquired about while looking at the bill, and it was confirmed by your staff that a real chicken dish was served by mistake and not what we had ordered. 

Our family follows pure vegetarian diet and were living a serene life until we came here to have dinner last evening, which spoilt all our serenity with a blunder that your staff made with the order. This was an incredibly irresponsible mistake made by your team, and my family and I are deeply upset as a result. 

Is Wagamama so careless, to play around with dietary needs that individuals like us have? We are now scared to eat here in the future, with the careless and thoughtless service that Wagamama gave who doesn’t take your instructions seriously and can make blunders like this. 

I even sent an official complaint to restaurant manager but its been a week and no response yet. Pathetic customer service

Beyond poor service and almost disregard to a dangerous situation. I found a thin metallic wire/bristle in my food that I'd ordered via deliveroo. Deliveroo have escalated and it's now been 2 weeks and no ody has contacted me. Clearly wagamama dont consider this a dangerous situation. I have kept the wire while I consider next steps. Lovely food. Wonderful staff. Fully part of the community providing school trips, encouraging children to try new food and even the opportunity to make the dishes.

Wagamama Liverpool (Speke) - excellent service from start to finish. Had to wait a few minutes for a table but staff were excellent and kept us up to date and could not apologise anymore even though it wasn’t required as we expected it at the time we went.

Food was excellent and could not fault it at all. Service received was excellent and everything fully explained to us.

Would definitely recommend and will visit again.

Wagamamas in Exeter, absolutely amazing experience, the food, the staff, the atmosphere, absolutely amazing, we were so well take care of by all staff members but especially Fernanda she was absolutely amazing with us, she took really good care of us and made the experience even more pleasurable.

Staff are lovely. The food is terrible!
£50 for awful food. I used to love this place years ago. Now it’s just terrible. No taste. Basic. Awful. Avoid.

Wagamama Pad Thai Stir fry sauce 🤢
Tried this awful sauce last night and still have the aftertaste despite thoroughly cleaning my teeth twice the next morning.
Absolutely no resemblance to Pad Thai I have eaten many times in Thailand,apart from the taste it is an awful dark brown colour resembling 💩 and I’m guessing not dissimilar to the taste.
I gave 1 star because I had to but I would not give any stars if possible.
Wasted £12 worth of beautiful prawns as I had to throw it all away.
I like many of Wagamama meals but this is atrocious.

I went to the Wagamama’s at Leeds Trinity for my birthday and had a great experience! I would particularly like to mention our waiter Millie who spent time explaining the menu and offered to switch a spicy sauce for a more mild teriyaki sauce. Her food suggestions were lovely and made for an amazing meal.

Excellent food value for money, speedy service.

We had exemplary service from Dora, Cambridge Leisure Park, 16/5/25, who really added to our experience when we were trying to decide on ordering a desert

Izzi greeted us with a wonderful smile and remembered me from before at the Braintree branch! No coriander she said. She served us promptly and explained everything to make sure we knew about the ordering. She is an absolute Jem and I would like you to thank her for me as she made our visit the best again.

Great service from Kelly at Wagamama in Bridgend when ordering a take out - very friendly and approachable. The food was prepared quickly and tasted great.

It’s okay that they overcharge for their food, but last week I tried to redeem the free items I earned via loyalty program, told the staff that at the door and they said it’s ok and took order for that, and then turned out I couldn’t redeem the item because there’d be a minimum spend that wasn’t mentioned by the staff, and they told me to add more item, I did that and still couldn’t use it, they had no idea why but they wanted me to still pay for the bills anyway and then hopefully customer service would refund me when I reach out afterward, I told them I wasn’t interested in paying what I didn’t agree and liaising with customer service, they could do speak to their own customer service instead of wasting my time and energy, so I stood up and got ready to leave without having any food, but they tried to physically detain me and followed me on the street whilst screaming “this guy second time walking out without paying for his food”, super random scene being caused there and people from my company saw it too, I didn’t deserve this embarrassment so I wrote a complaint to Wagamama headquarters asking for an apology, but these genius people told the same staff to reach out to me to and sent me an email asking me to call them

Visited Wigmore street branch and Jesna was amazing and really enjoyed my experience because of her.
