I became a customer of Shutterfly by…

I became a customer of Shutterfly by default when Kodak went out of business some years ago. At first their promotions were fair and 50% off actually meant 50% off. No longer - it's 50% off parts of an order not the entire project. If you are not a US customer, delivery is not free and can be quite expensive. The company is not really responsive to inquiries about "discounts" that are meant to induce customers to purchase, but are effectively less than they advertise. I have made a number of costly photo books with Shutterfly and I am increasingly unhappy with the experience. There are other less expensive providers - I am searching them out and suggest others do the same.

Awful

Awful. It took them nearly 5 weeks to send me my supplements. You can't call--they don't answer. When you send an email, they send you a form response. They claim you will get a confirmation number when you order and you never do. Don't order from them!

What a joke! Don’t use this company

Ordered on October 6th emailed them again on the 9th to find out the status of my order. And got some email stating because of covid things are taking longer. So I emailed them back today with no response so I called and got a recording that says to email them. What the hell kinda website doesn’t have customer service lines. Definitely makes me feel like I have been scammed.

****edited: finally received an email letting me know my card was never charged and the product was on back order. Which def made me feel better but this is why having a customer service line would probably help a lot because in today’s world it’s so hard to know what to trust and what’s legit and what’s a scam.

This company is not to be trusted I…

This company is not to be trusted I placed an order on 9/17 it's exactly 3 weeks later I don't even have a tracking number. I have left voicemails that have not been returned, I finally sent an email and got an automated response about Covid shipping delays and stating that I will receive a tracking number this was on 10/2 and I'm still to receive . Please order from a better company!

Don't know how to run a business

Placed an order in March, items were back ordered and didn't know if or when they were coming in, so I cancelled the order. Four months later, they send me shipping notification of one item, but not the ones that had been on back order all this time, and then charged me shipping for that item because the order no longer met the free shipping amount. Horrible business. Now I've got to convince my credit card company to not charge me and not pay them.

My first experience was great for CBD…

My first experience was great for CBD softgels but when I received a 2nd order a month later which I did not request, they claimed I signed up for auto delivery which is a down right lie. I told them I did no such thing. They automatically charged my credit card again. I told them if they send me a return label, I would send the item back and I gave no permission for them to reuse my credit card. They would not do this and continued to argue with me. A professional business would listen and cancel the automatic delivery and send a return label. I had to call my credit card company to dispute the charge and have it charged back to my account.

Please do not order from this place

Please do not order from this place. I ordered a product 6 weeks ago and paid for shipping.They were quick to take the payment but I still have not received my package.They can’t keep their end of the bargain. At this point I feel taken advantage of and would like my money back, I live in Canada and the company is in the states, it doesn’t make sense that I should wait this long. I looked up the tracking number they gave me and it shows that the package is still in the states. I don’t recommend this place at all.

Don’t use this company!

Placed an order that said it would ship in 1 day. 8 days later I called, as their was no tracking info. Called them and, after being on hold for 20 minutes, I Left a message that was not returned. Finally sent an email and received a message back that it was out of stock! Pathetic!

I had a really good experience with Vitasprings!

I'm in Australia and was searching for a fairly hard-to-find UP4 product. But it was in stock at Vitasprings at an amazingly low price. Great value. I chose the lowest price postage option ($10 untracked) and placed the order. But then I read some of the reviews on Trustpilot and began to stress!!!!!! Had I made a mistake?! Well, the order was confirmed immediately and four days later it was despatched ... plus (surprise!!!!) they provided a USPS tracking number. Within a couple of days it was in the USPS system and three days later it was processed through Sydney in Australia – where the tracking stopped. Then it took Australia Post five working days to deliver it to me in Melbourne! Vitasprings service was good, price was amazing, packaging was excellent (really sturdy box that was like armour-plating!) and the delivery time what I anticipated: about three weeks. I'd certainly buy from them again and I'm happy!

I agree: stay away

I agree with other reviewers who had similar bad experience in terms of out-of-stock items. I ordered fiber. Website showed in stock while other sites were showing out. After a few days I got emails saying out of stock and expect 2-3 weeks delivery time. I emailed and attempted to cancel order, having found that the vendor I usually use could fulfill my order. Instead of cancelling my order, Vitasprings ended up having the product, sent it and charged my card—this was after they called in response to my email, saying it was already sent. That wasn't true. They could easily have stopped this order. Now I have spent more than my current budget allows. Also, free shipping from these guys means one week. The other vendor got me the product in under 24 hours with free shipping.

I emailed to cancel order on 2/16/18. I received an email notice on 2/19/18 at 4:31 PM EST saying order was shipped. I received your call shortly thereafter (5:25 PM). The UPS tracking shows Order Processed, Ready for UPS at 3:11 PM Local Time (i.e. 6:11 PM EST), and Origin Scan at 6:25 PM Local (i.e. 9:25 PM EST), both events taking place after your call in which I complained. You therefore had time and could have cancelled the order per my email instructions. How could the driver have picked up the order in the morning, well ahead of these recorded events?

Final reply to Vitaspring's edited reply: It seems you edited your first reply to make it seem like your delivery went out before your phone call. The UPS record indicates that was not the case. According to their record, the delivery went out after we spoke. You make it seem like I said to you to go ahead and send the delivery ("you confirmed with us to release this order at that time") If the delivery went out in the early morning, why would I tell you to release the order? I did no such thing. You told me it was already delivered and in essence there was nothing you could do about it. Sure, I suppose I could've initiated a return after receiving it, but you didn't suggest that, and I didn't want the extra hassle. So, I just decided to let the order stay as is. MAIN POINT: UPS shows delivery was initiated AFTER you said it had been. I tend to believe UPS's info over the story you gave (and then retold differently). Sorry, but that kind of business approach just doesn't sit well with me.

Terrible online shopping experience!!

Horrible customer service! ! My order purchased on 12/29/2017, I contact them on 1/9/2018, due I didn't received on 1/8/2018 (the USPS website show delivery to parcel locker on 1/8/2018), the customer service said she will check, and call me back few day said "my shipment still on local post office due parcel locker get stuck, let me wait few more day. Next day, I had stay home waiting the mail carrier show up, and check with her, she told me, she don't have any shipment for me, and this parcel locker was usable. Still can't locate my package on 1/16/2018, and I don't want Indefinitely wait and want refund my money, the company let me sign lost statement, and I had signed and return to them same day. BUT they still didn't refund my money until 1/22, and the managers or boss say it was my fault, not the problem of their company and hang up the phone. My order was never received, and still did't refund my payment.

Order Never Received

I placed a order on December 30, 2017. I didn't get a confirmation that my order was completed. I called to check on order status. They called me back and said my order should arrive in two days. After two weeks later from initial order date, I still do not have my order. Therefore, I cancelled my order and went with a different company. They are not dependable. I would not recommend them.

I purchased my order directly from the company and received it in two days. There was not back order for them. But thanks for replying.

These people have low pricing but can't …

These people have low pricing but can't keep up in the shipping dept. I was told after waiting 2 days following the placing of my order that I would be sent a tracking # on that day. I had to call a second time on the 3rd day to cancel my order and was informed that the order had shipped in spite of the tracking # showing otherwise. The one star is for lying/misinforming to me and not stating clearly that it might take 72 hours to ship. Being on the same coast I can't imagine why a reasonable time of 4-5 days can't be met by these people. By the way they don't work Sat. in spite of using USPS which also is a problem. I will be using another vendor in the future and will gladly pay more for 1st class service. These people also have the nerve to bill at the time the order is placed not when it ships.

The company is dishonest

The company is dishonest, will not call you back when they have messed up. This women named Vennessa is not nice and will try to cut you off from talking and will hurry up and try to get you off the phone. What happened to the customers is always right. I made an order, still did not receive it and Mrs, Vennessa said I had to wait two more weeks, there was no apologies at all.customer service is terrible.
